1. Deck builder search issue with Vintage card styles in Brawl

   Hello MTG Arena Team,

   I am a Brawl player on MTG Arena and I would like to report an issue with the deck builder and card search system.

   There are certain cards that appear to be hidden or very difficult to find when searching, especially cards with Vintage styles. For example, Mystical Tutor (1 mana instant).
   Even though there is a newer version from the recent Avatar expansion, I prefer to use the Vintage-style version of the card.

   The card does exist and can be used, but it does not appear properly in search results. The only way to find it is by manually browsing page by page through the collection, which makes deck building unnecessarily difficult.

   Ideally, there should be a collection or search icon/filter that allows players to specifically find cards with Vintage styles, or at least ensure that all available styles appear correctly in search results.

   If there is already a way to display or filter these cards that I am missing, please let me know.

2. Feedback: Event Payouts, Wildcard Conversion, and Mastery Orb Rewards

   Hi MTG Arena Team,

   I wanted to share a few ideas that I think would improve the Arena experience and make some of the systems feel even better for players.

   First, I’d love to see some adjustments to event payouts, especially in higher-stakes events like Arena Direct. One thing that feels really good in formats like Premier Draft is that even a 0-win result still gives you something back and softens the cost of entry. That structure makes it easier to keep playing and feels much better as a player.

   In Arena Direct specifically, it feels a little awkward to “win a box” but receive no Gems. In practice, that can create a small incentive to stop before hitting the box threshold just to take the Gems and keep playing. I’d love to see box-level rewards also include some amount of Gems, ideally something closer to the entry amount, similar to how Premier Draft helps offset continued play. I’d even be open to a higher gem entry cost if that kind of payout structure were included.

   Second, I think wildcard conversion would be a great addition. It would be really helpful to convert wildcards across rarities. For example, something like 10 commons into 1 uncommon, 10 uncommons into 1 rare, and 10 rares into 1 mythic, with the option to go the other direction as well. That would make collections feel more flexible and let extra wildcards stay useful over time.

   Lastly, I like the Mastery Pass overall, but I usually end up not spending my orbs because the available rewards don’t feel very compelling to me. I think a lot of players are already motivated by Gems and Gold, so simply adding those might help a little, but it still may not be the most exciting use of orbs. Something like using orbs for a free event entry, or saving up a larger number of orbs for a more meaningful reward, would be much more appealing.

   I’d personally rather spend 10 orbs or even all of them at once on something I really want than spend them 2 at a time on rewards I’m not very interested in. Right now, I mostly just don’t use them. I’d also be open to paying a bit more for the Mastery Pass if it included more engaging orb redemption options.

   Thanks for all the work you put into Arena. I really enjoy the game and wanted to share these ideas because I think they would make the experience even better.

   The current Timeless meta is heavily shaped by a small group of extremely powerful cards — for example, Emrakul, Atraxa, Omniscience, and other high-ceiling threats. These cards can decide games almost automatically unless a player happens to have one of a very limited set of answers. That reduces meaningful interaction, punishes creativity, and narrows the range of viable decks.

   Power itself isn’t the issue — I play competitive decks too — but leaning on these “auto-win” cards as a crutch diminishes skill expression and discourages experimentation. Adjusting or banning these extreme outliers would:

   Expand interaction windows so more decisions actually matter.

   Encourage diverse deckbuilding and healthier meta evolution.

   Improve skill expression without lowering the format’s exciting power level.

   Addressing these specific cards would make Timeless more interactive, skill-driven, and enjoyable for the community, while keeping the format exciting and powerful.

4. Mythos of Nethroi Bug

   All available colored mana to cast either cost of Mythos of Nethroi. When casting and targeting a creature, both options to pay 2B OR GWB appear. When targeting a nonland permanent, only the option to pay 2B appears. Wildly infuriating.

5. Freeze screen and play mid game

   I've reported this several times today and haven't received any feedback, I've had several games freeze mid-game, leaving the only option left to do being exit game, close game session, and restart app. The leave game function being not a choice because of the instant the bug takes affect, it,(being a choice under the options tab in the upper right corner), isn't even available to press because it mysteriously just vanishes into the ether! This seems like a bug developed by an inside source, thinking malicious activity is funny, you might want to get an investigation into the cause of this bug, as well as seeing what other mischievous actions could be just waiting to be set off. I'll leave the last screenshot of the moment before I dashboarded and reset the app. As you can see, I didn't forfeit, still had life, but notice the options are.......absent, this being impossible to have any progression, note, the opponent had said, " your turn" several times, as if it were my turn and actions were on myturn waiting for me to make a choice, however my screen shows that the interactions from the opponent jumping in in play caused a trigger effect that seems to have triggered the bug to motion. Just a suggestion for research. Please get this fixed,it's a huge waste of time,and I'm not dropping a dime on the next set, if you don't take action and get it fixed. You should send all who've had the misfortune in the bugs resulting loss of time and stats, some kind of apology and reward, whether a free pass on next set, something showing you give 2 $#!ts about their spending time and money into your game. Respect!

6. Mystical Tutor Bug

   Last night I had a strange occurrence in an Arena Powered Cube game.

   During the end step of my opponent's 2nd turn, I resolved a Mystical Tutor and put Time Walk on top of my deck. When my 3rd turn started, the Time Walk went to the graveyard and I drew a new card, despite neither player having done anything. I've outlined the steps of what occurred below in Reproduction Steps.

   My T1: Land, pass.
   Opp T1: Land, pass.
   My T2: Land, pass. (holding up Mystical Tutor).
   Opp T2: Land, pass. During end step, I cast Mystical Tutor, and put Time Walk on top.
   My T3: Time Walk gets milled???? And I draw a new card (Steel Seraph). Neither player cast anything or had any kind of effect that would've milled a card.

7. Dark patterns. Forcing us to events in game menus.

   Feedback for WOTC.

   1. The ability to give feedback is extremely polluted, by your design. Do you believe this is good for your customers to not be able to report players easily for stalling? And leaving feedback for you to improve?

   2. You have changed the in game menus so that instead of being able to play Standard, Alchemy games etc you are priming me for the events I have 0 interest in. This is a dark design pattern and a manipulation trick that is toxic. I do not want to have to press esc just to get into the menu I want to have to press "Play" again to get into my games. You should be ashamed of yourselves for milking out every cent from your customers and also providing a ton of useless content that does absolutely nothing for most players other than increasing game time. You have lost my respect. I hope you regain it.

8. Ward warning with Redirect Lightning

   My opponent controlled a creature with Ward 2. They attempted to kill my creature with a Blasting Jelly. I had one mana open, and paid 5 life to cast Redirect Lightning, attempting to redirect the ability to their own creature. The Arena client gives me a warning when I click on their ward creature that says if I do not pay the ward, the spell will be countered. I dismiss the warning and do it anyway, my spell resolves without any ward triggering, and their creature takes 5 damage.

   My understanding of the rules is that the play itself is correct, and since my opponent controlled the ability, the ward cost does not need to be paid. My problem is that if that warning showed up for someone who was less confident in the rules, they might believe that the play wouldn't work and not cast their spell.

   I believe the best thing to do would be to disable the ward warning from appearing in this and similar scenarios. The issue is that when I click on their ward creature in this case, I am choosing new targets, NOT targeting it with a spell or ability. That is the distinction that is not being made with the ward warning.

9. Painful Quandary - Bug

   There seem to be a bug with the painful quandry card in which if the card gets fired off first on a stack of effects it doesn’t resolve. I believe it’s linked to the new avatar cards and my guess is there’s a small conflict resolve error that needs to be adjusted. I was playing against someone with a shrine based deck and they would lay spells and it would trigger but their life wouldn’t go down. I didn’t think to grab a video until after because I was playing on my phone, but should’ve easy to recreate: painful quandary on player a, lay the red black and white avatar shrines on other player then lay aang’s journey or something and trigger a few effects and watch them stack up but take no damage :/

10. Unable to block

    Hi, I'm playing on PC on windows on Magic Arena platform. I have conection issue (weak and unstable internet conection) wich leads me to experience disconections now and then, the thing is, when I reconnect, there is a bug that happens systematicaly, if I was in a middle of a block phase, if my oponent declares his attackers and I get disconnected, when i reconnect it becomes impossible to select blockers even if still in "block phase", my creatures are all ready but when I click on them nothing happens, the only option left is to press "no block" which led me to numerous defeats. Same happens if I was about to declare my attackers, when I reconnect, the system is waiting for me to declare my attackers but I can't click on them and have to pass my battle phase if I want to go on and not trigger time limit. Please fix this recurring bug, thank you !

    It has happened several times now that the daily points have not updated.

    How can that be?

    I played 2 games today and have won 5 games; that includes yesterday's score.

    Here, player Gold that they've earned and invested time in. I'm asking for the Gold to be used for... Today's goals, or points.

12. Complete crash of everything

    Hi guys,

    I don't know wgat happened, but after the previous update the game became almost unplayable. Till then I played in my Android phone exclusively. You can check my account, I am a serious player and I am spending some real money on this game. First of all - there ks no card mechanics description. I play magic for 20 years, but I don't know all the mechanics, specially new ones. So I lost a game due to playing evoke cost instead of normal one. But then came a new update today. And I am entering my draft, but the game froze completely and I couldn't finish my draft, so I lost again. All of these are events out of my control, so, pls be so kind and get me 2 QD tickets, or some gems back. Funny thing is that this is one of the best editions of MTG in a while and O would really like to play it...

13. Proposal to Integrate Play Points as an Entry Option for Arena Limited Championship Qualifiers

    Please consider allowing players to use Play Points to enter the Arena Limited Championship Qualifiers. Play Points provide a clear sense of progression and reward players for consistent participation. Allowing them as an entry option would make the event more accessible and help more dedicated limited players engage with high-level competition.

14. Unable to connect to server 2026-03-28 02:50 AM

    I started a Premier Draft event at approximately 2:45 AM on 2026-03-28. After confirming my Pack 1 Pick 1 selection, the pack icon next to my player name didn't disappear. I waited 30 seconds or so before exiting the draft screen to try entering again, to confirm whether it was just a visual error or a network issue. I reopened the Premier Draft event page and was presented with the Play Blade option to begin a new draft, which prompted me to exit and restart the client. Now I am unable to connect to a server since the initial restart attempt at approximately 2:50 AM. The client shows the message 'Waiting for the Server ' with the spinning icon. This is the second time in 24 hours I've had an issue with the network connectivity of the client, and I believe the first time was a mass outage. The Arena Status page shows 'All Systems Operational', so I'm unsure if it's on my side.

    Whenever a person concedes, give them an option to describe why they conceded. It could have some standard choices like "I was about to lose anyway" or "opponent was too slow", etc. I would like an option for Brawl that lets me say "I quit because the opponent was using Alchemy/cards banned in paper multiplayer EDH" . You could also add a text box where a person could say something like "I hate Mythweaver Poq" or "Primeval Titan is annoying"

    With time this could give you some feedback on what players enjoy/don't enjoy about the platform and your choices of format styles and card availability.

17. Insane degeneration of this horrible game

    I'm just gonna keep talking about it because it's so stupid. Used to be that it would alternate days, one day it would be terrible matches, maybe one or two wins, every other game is gonna be a creatively sadistic match and card draws, a bummer but slightly more tolerable because the next day it would be better. Now.... now it's every day. Every day mostly losses, and all games that I, no matter how I play the hand, have any chance of winning. Long streaks of losing these types of games, I'll give them credit for the creativity in generating losses, but it makes no difference what deck I play or how I play. They've got themselves a mandate, everything on rails, this is exactly how many games each player will win or lose and how, basically the illusion of choice.     I'm just gonna keep talking about it because it's so stupid. Used to be that it would alternate days, one day it would be terrible matches, maybe one or two wins, every other game is gonna be a creatively sadistic match and card draws, a bummer but slightly more tolerable because the next day it would be better. 19. Quick Draft UX Feedback: Earlier Countdown Timer + Upcoming Set Preview

    No "Ends in" timer appeared on the Quick Draft tile before the set rotated out. Other players have reported the same issue. For a paid event format with a predetermined rotation schedule, this information exists server-side and should be surfaced on the client with at least 48 hours notice.
    Additionally, there is no in-client way to see what Quick Draft set is coming next. A "Starts in X" label on the upcoming set tile would solve this and is clearly feasible given how other events already display start timers.
    These are simple UI changes for a paid event. Both should already be standard.

20. High Token Count Issues are Costing Players Games

    Impending DragonStorm, Extravagant Replication , and Doubling Season in play with multiple copies. Land should have triggered an army of dragons, instead I got ZERO dragons because your game I pay HARD WORKING money to cant do math. I'm a little upset, please fix this. It's really annoying
