How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

  1. Game randomly freezes and becomes unplayable

    For the past 45 minutes I tried my usual run of daily wins, however I can't play the game as the games either don't load or if they load then seem to disconnect from my side or the opponents during the "keep"/"mulligan" screen or after 1-2 rounds/phases. The "rope"/timer then starts and after it finishes the game freezes. In this state I have to restart the client to get back to the main menu.
    Even after "repair game files" the issue is not resolved. Sadly the game can't be played in this state and I can't get my daily wins…

  4. A Bug Where the Player Immediately Loses the Game After the Opponent’s Consecutive Trigger Resolutions

    When the opponent put nearly 100 creatures onto the battlefield at the same time, both the opponent’s and my own triggered abilities caused multiple life-gain events. All of these were being processed automatically for both players.
    During this time, even though the player could not take any actions, their timer continued to run down, and once all processing finished, the player immediately lost the game.

    1. It makes no sense that the player’s time decreases during the resolution of the opponent’s activated/triggered abilities.

    2. It is unacceptable to lose the game immediately after waiting for all the processes to finish.

  5. Ozai, the phoenix king bugged (ability active with 4 unspent mana istead of 6)

    Hi, today, during a draft game at about 9:50 Prague time (CET), I had a bug happen. I played Ozai, my opponent enchanted him with a swampsnare trap, reducing his stats. Then, during my turn, I started tapping lands to add mana to my pool (to make Ozai indestructible). As soon as there was 4 unspent mana in my pool, ozai gained indestructible and flying (see attached screenshot). The game was played on android.
    This is not correct, Ozai states that he needs 6 unspent mana in pool to gain those abilities. Maybe swampsnare trap unintentionally changes this, because…

  6. MY TIMER OPPONENTS TRIGGERS

    Why is my timer running down while I'm waiting on the opponent's actions to take place? What a joke man. Had a hundred triggers that had to wait for the opponent to gain life for and it wasted my entire turn and I didn't get to do anything else on my f****** turn. What a f****** joke man.   7. "The End" immune to Hexproof

    The interaction: First main phase: I play "Mossborn Hydra". I press next we are in my second main phase. Opponent plays a revealed "The End" targeting "Mossborn Hydra". I put "Royal Treatment" on the stack targeting "Mossborn Hydra". "Mossborn Hydra" gains hexproof and a Royal Roll token is attached to it. "The End" resolves aka it exile "Moss Born Hydra" and each other instance in my deck, graveyard and hand. As I understand it Hexproof prevents spells from targeting the hexproofed target and as "The End" reads "Exile target creature" then it should not resolved as it was targeting…

  8. Incorrect rules interaction

    I've never encountered this before today. It has always worked correctly, but I lost a match and rank today as a result of omniscience not interacting correctly with x spells. I had 2 x spells in hand with 13 available mana (lands + Ugin activation). The two spells were "Portent of Calamity" and "Doppelgang". I went to cast Doppelgang for 3 to finish milling my opponent out using Scrabbling Skullcrab's ability, but it would not let me choose a number other than zero.   9. Gatherer text reflected incorrectly for Iroas, God of Victory

    Dear Team,

    I noticed that the oracle text of Iroas was amended to 'Creatures you control have menace', while the change seems to reflect what the ability did prior to the errata, the functionality is vastly different.

    The original text 'creatures you control can't be blocked except by two or more creautres' was effective whether the 'other creature I control' has lost its other abilities or not. Iroas does not give my creatures any ability as it is the case after errata.
    To get 'creatures you control have menace' Iroas would need to have 'Creatures you control gain 'this creature…

    i was playing a match against a user called "gardi528" it was her turn but she wasn't playing, the time for the turn ended but instead to start my turn the game kicked me out of the match, i reconnected ALMOST IMMEDIATELY no more than 12 seconds of wait but when i came back suddenly it was her turn again(remember my turn hasn't even started 12 seconds ago) but more strange was i managed to drop a land WHILE MY OPPONENT MY PLAYING HER TURN AGAIN(my full turn got somehow skipped but i dropped…

  11. Matchmaking Server Does Not display Cancel UI

    If I enter a rank match, then cancel, then repeat this infinitely, the following happens:

    1. at some point after 3-30 cancel attempts, the cancel button will disappear. (Disabling my ability to cancel the match)
    2. Or there will be no delay and I am immediately matched with play in fraction of second (AI I assume)
    3. The cancel will disappear, but the timer will go infinitely like 5+minutes, but when I Force exit the client, then reenter the client, the there's a resume, then it looks for a match, but disables the Cancel UI. If I do NOT re-enter the client, I…

  12. Decks with Cards Banned in Historic Artisan do not contribute to "Admirably Artisan" Achievement Progress

    The following deck was used in Historic Ranked. After any wins the progress on the "Admirably Artisan" would not move up. I believe the issue is that the achievement is checking whether the deck is legal in Historic Artisan or not. Zenith Flare is currently not legal in that format, thus it is not contributing to any progress. Since the achievement requires winning in the regular Historic Ranked queue and not a Historic Artisan event, decks that feature cards on the Historic Artisan banned list should be allowed for the achievement progress.

  13. Lifelink is so broken

    Lifelink is limited to damage dealt not the cards power. Gaining any more life than what the damage dealt is literally violates the games ruling on lifelink.. these bugs are so devastating to the gameplay that physical cards seem the only enjoyable way to play.

  14. ornate imitations creating cards in Alchemy that aren't allowed in Alchemy

    In a ranked Alchemy game, my opponent played “ornate imitations” which conjured a Nazgul from the lotr set, all cards from this set aren’t allowed in Alchemy so this card shouldn’t be able to conjure them.

  15. Waiting for server issues

    I have been having issues during gameplay, receiving “Waiting for server…” messages mid-match and ultimately being booted from said match when about to win.

    This issue has made completing today’s daily missions next to impossible, not to mention impacting my mythic ranking.

  16. General trigger overload and the time it consumes to resolve it

    The game tends to have more and more complicated triggers resolving. The animations are SLOW and they take time off of the player's turn without compensation. Resolving multiple triggers of Outcaster traiblaizer results in drawing one card at a time (SLOW), when one is locked out of the game, but the timer still runs out.
    It seems, that you still have not removed the choise screen for cards with kicker, impending, warp, etc. when there is no viable option to take manawise. Years have passed and this unnecessary clikcking is still in the game.

    Most of the anti roping ideas come back to detecting/punishing the ropers.

    I've been starting to realist the solution isn't about the roping player, rather about the other player.

    In any non ranked, random queued game add the following well publicised rule:

  18. Transparency with RNG, algorithms, test results

    A few months back I recorded 1000 of my b01 ranked games, including land draws as a proportion of cards seen (drawn/scried/milled/whatever was on top of my deck). I calculated the probability of that land draw using a hyper geometric calculator. I assumed the odds of land draws should follow a normal distribution with the mean being a land draw that is proportionate to the lands in the deck.

    I found that games were more likely to be .5 standard deviations away from the mean, in each direction, than they were to be close to the mean. About 22%…

  19. Unlimited time out causing loss

    My opponent disconnected or went afk. Normally this is annoying but manageable due to the limited time outs. But several times I have found the timer expiring over and over until eventually I have to concede and take the loss in the ranked game😡😡😡😡😡

  20. Red aggro decks are broken and the shuffler cheats FOR them!

    Play test Red Aggro against any other deck and see if it is fun, or fair. I can guarantee it's not in either case. Check the deck shuffler against them and see if you get the key idea cards you need, you won't. I Had 1/6th what i needed in deck, after 40 cards i got 1. Not a single 1 drop across 3 ranked games!
