1. master pass mythic card rewards

   Hi,

   I purchased a mastery pass this month completing all 60 levels but received none of the mythic card rewards. It show a tick to say its been completed but no cards were given.

2. Received 20 gems in rare slot of a pack despite NOT having all of the rares from that set.

   I bought a pack of Foundations and it gave me 20 gems instead of a rare, with the mouseover text "You have collected all of the rares from this set". Except I haven't collected all of the rares. Please see attached images and log file. Could you please give rare wildcards instead of gems? This 20 gems instead of a wildcard feels like I'm being cheated, and lord knows I've spent enough money on this game.

4. Event selection - Add option to hide/disable Alchemy events and news

   I hate Alchemy. I prefer best of one premier draft of the current set. I play a lot of drafts. Muscle memory has me expecting my draft selection button to be in the same place on the screen every time I go to select my event. Every time you add an alchemy event you put the alchemy button right where I expect my Non-Achemy premier draft button. Today I clicked the wrong button. I did not realize it until the draft started. I did not enjoy my event. If you add an event please find a way to keep it in the same spot. Maybe make the buttons smaller. Better yet give me an option to ignore everything that has to do with Alchemy (button, events, news, packs).

5. Daily Wins are breaking the health of your play queue and driving people away

   The behavior of players around the 15 daily wins is turning the Standard Play queues into one of the most toxic queues in the game. You know there is a problem when the common wisdom of the game is "just play Ranked, you'll have an easier time." This stems Directly from the 15 Daily Wins quest. People seeking fast wins pile into Standard queue and grab fast aggro decks that win in 3-5 turns. However, that isn't all. Because the nature of the queue is fast games there are many players that opt for forcing a fast surrender. Roping every turn to make the game take longer is incentivized as well. If you can convince the other player to surrender and move on in a few turns then you have succeeded. It creates a zero sum situation, where the only way to play the queue is for everyone to be a troll. This includes having a deck Entirely made of removal so that neither player plays a single card and the field remains completely empty for 40 minutes as you slowly draw out your decks. Even trick decks like Tibalt's with low win rates, the point is to force a surrender early, by having a toxic deck that people recognize and immediately surrender in order to move on. It means there is no queue to test a new deck on. At least no queue to test decks on that isn't Aggro or Surrender decks.

   15 wins also breaks one of the cool things about MTG. Long games. Some of the best games are the ones that can go over an hour, but with 15 wins as the goal, why would anyone spend that long? Better to surrender and keep grinding.

   Then it also makes the game very anti-social. Which is to the Serious detriment of the game. You don’t have friends on MTGA, you don’t need them. You won’t play with them. You can’t get daily wins from playing with them, and you need those wins to get the coins to get the cards to build more decks. It literally disincentivizes even playing with friends at all.

   This is creating a really toxic environment throughout the game that is steadily driving away both free-to-play and paying players. I've personally spent quite a bit on this game already, and this may be my last "season" as over the 4 months of playing, nearly every night I have finished my session frustrated and angry. And not because I feel like I'm "bad" at the game, but because I've had to spend a Lot of time grinding out a final few wins. I have spent Hours getting two wins, and it's simply because the draw didn't favor me. My aggro deck didn't get off the ground fast enough, or the other person drew a lucky card and was able to turn the tables once I was out of gas. For Play queue, there really isn't another answer other than queue back up and hope you have a better hand. I started out four months ago, and at the time I talked to a few friends to play this with them. Most of them dropped it within a week, citing the 15 daily wins as too much of a problem. I'm a stubborn person, so I wanted to keep pushing, I had also spent money and wanted to see some return on my investment. However I am also reaching the end of my rope with this game. 15 wins is just too much, it drives new players away from the game.

   Now, there is a Very simple solution here. 5 Daily wins, then take the rewards from the other 10 and spread them out into a 35 Weekly wins setup. 5 wins will average around an hour a day, which is reasonable for “warming up” and allows for space to do other things, like play with friends or toy with the other queues for a bit. With 35 weekly then, you can be pretty sure you will clear that each week without too much trouble (5 times 7 is 35, so clearing the daily wins will net the weekly rewards by the end of the week.) It’s a very simple change, could be even better if wins against friends counted. Sure some will just trade wins quickly to get the wins out of the way, but most will just take the opportunity to play each other and have fun doing so.

   If you really want to solve this though, I think you could remove the daily wins entirely and do more of a quest board. Every three months you release a new set. Have each of these sets release with a quest board that gives you rewards for playing (and/or) winning with different cards or combinations. Make players explore and truly "master" the sets as they are released. Players have three months to complete as much of the board as they can. This can be as broad as picking certain color themes or specific core cards, and having players win x number of games with them (over three months, so much less pressure) or as specific as having each card in the set have its own quest for winning a handful of games using that card.

   The second option there would be a double hitter, incentivizing creative deck building, diversifying decks being played and removing the incentives for trolling. This game is so close to being a good introduction, its just falling at the finish line.

   The other Big problem is the Wildcard system. What ends up happening is that players build up hundreds of Common, Uncommon and Mythic Rare Wildcards, while having 0 Rare Wildcards. Largely because decks rely Heavily on Rare cards. And what ends up happening is those Mythic Rare drops that are handed to you feel more like a punishment than a reward. What the **** am I going to do with my 30th Mythic Rare Wildcard while I’m still at 5 Rares and need 40 of them for this deck I want?

   Again, simple solutions are present. The simplest would be to remove the current Wildcard system and turn Wildcards into a number value. Common become worth 2, Uncommon 4, Rare 8, and Mythic Rare 16. That number value then can be spent to purchase any card. You can even play with the purchase value, being kinder with buying a Common needing only 1 point, and a Mythic only 8, or meaner with buying a common set to 4 points, and Mythic 32. Or anywhere in between. But with a number value, now every Wildcard is valuable, and those Mythic Drops feel good, because that could be enough to put you over the value of the deck you want to build.

   Further on this note, Why The **** do you not get a Rare or Mythic Rare Wildcard for drafting a 5th copy of a rare card in Limited? That is an absolutely Disgusting practice. When I found out that I wasn't getting Rare and Mythic rare wild cards from rare drafting I nearly quit right on that one. I understand turning Common and Uncommon into "Vault Progress" you get so many of them in draft. But if a player wants to Weaken their chances of winning the draft by Rare drafting, the least you can do is give them an extra wildcard for their efforts. What the **** is wrong with you guys? Do you want a sustainable player base to milk whales or not?

6. Heist

   Please make an adjustment to the heist mechanic or to the heist cards. The cards are not fun to play against, and they have been making for a miserable experience in alchemy.

   From a gameplay enjoyment perspective, it is not fun having your opponent consistently take the best cards out of your deck. It greatly reduces deckbuilding choices and creates imbalanced gameplay patterns.

   From a mechanic standpoint:

   1. Heist nonrandomly removes the strongest cards from your deck. This is problematic because it makes your own draws significantly weaker. Normally, that would have an opportunity cost for the player removing those cards like in the case of 'the stone brain'. However, the heist player instead gets rewarded and they can infinitely play the card that they just took from your deck.

   2. Heist cards are too efficient for the power of their effect. Since they were printed, the heist cards have defined the alchemy format. Having a heist effect on a 1 mana modal instant is far too strong and the metagames shows it.

   3. Heist is not random enough. The mechanic shows three nonland cards. Unfortunately, this is not random enough to ensure that the heist player can reasonable miss as taking a card that they want out of your deck. This creates situations where side boarding against heist becomes impossible. Putting one or two of a card in your deck against heist is foolish, because the heist deck can take that card almost guaranteed before you draw it.

   4. Post-rotation, there are not enough cards that effectively counter heist. There are very few cards that can interact with the cards they take from your deck, which again, limits deckbuilding choices.

   Finally, from the perspective of the Alchemy format as a whole... this format is supposed to be the format where rebalances are easy to implement. The whole point of the format is that changes can be made to problematic individual cards or mechanics. I know for a fact that there are players who have quit the format specifically because they hate the heist mechanic.

   Please rebalance heist or the heist cards.

7. daily quest timer reset but no new quest

   1. Third Daily Quests not resetting. Every day i don't get my 3rd daily quest. I'm unsure how i can recreate that.

   3. When the daily quest ticks over i'm only getting the daily win rewards quests as you can see in the below image. (the middle completed one is the weekly)

8. New additions to arena

   Hello. I have a few things I’d like to suggest. First, can you add commander to arena? It’s my favorite format of magic. Second, can you include collabs that you made in physical cards but not in arena (Jurassic Park, Doctor Who, Fallout, etc.) lastly, it is frustrating beacause I want a deck off of Gishath, sun’s avatar but continually don’t get him it LCI packs. Could you add a feature where players can browse, search and buy individual cards. My suggestion for an average price per card is 500 coins or 10 gems. Thanks

10. Ever since Avatar install game crashes all the time

    The game crashes on my Android phone ALL THE TIME ever since the Avatar installation.

    Sometimes I can get 1-2 hands in without a crash, but I think it may be related to card mechanics in my/opponent's deck.

    It crashes during gameplay and if I try to reload to rejoin the match, the app crashes immediately again.

    It crashes when opening packs of cards or lookong at My Collection

    This has made the game totally unplayable and makes me look like a bad sport /roping my opponents

11. Red mono aggro should be quarantined at midweek magic events and free play.

    Trying to play MTG for the first time in a long time at a weekly event and getting matched against red aggro 5 times in a row and being pushed one way.
    Regardless of winning or losing, nothing is fun.
    The percentage of red aggro is ruthlessly high due to the rewards, which reduces diversity and makes the game more boring.

12. Lightwheel Enhancements

    Same as everyone else here I drafted Lightwheel Enhancements in my hard earned draft and then was unable to cast it from the graveyard even though I had max speed. I pack one pick oned a brightglass gearhulk and basically had to draft Lightwheel Enhancements. Can I just get a draft token or something to compensate losing multiple with max speed and Lightwheel Enhancements in the graveyard, unable to be cast due to a bug.

13. Arena failed to award multiple Achievements

    In the last three days Arena has failed to reward 3 Achievements that I have earned. I completed my 13th Mid-week challenge(yes I won all three rounds), but it still has me stuck at 12. I also should have received the Achievement for attacking with 5 creatures the turn they come into play, as well as the Achievement for attacking with 15+ creatures. The game where both Achievements should have triggered was in a standard vs game, so should qualify. Please update my Achievements. Thank you.

14. Weird amount of gold given and draft joined without player input

    I closed the game earlier today and when I logged back in when I got home I received a reward of 300 gold, which I noticed was odd because as far as I know there’s no way to receive exactly 300 gold. Then I noticed that some of my gems were missing and as I was investigating I noticed that I had “started” a quick draft. The prompt is for me to resume drafting but I’m not clicking it for evidence. I have no idea how this occurred or why, it’s all very strange

    Hello Wizards of the Coast Support Team,

    I am writing to report a technical issue I experienced today, December 28th, 2024, between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM (UTC-3).

    While playing a Quick Draft match, the game client encountered a critical bug. I was in a winning position, simply waiting for the opponent to pass the turn to deliver the final blow, when the match was abruptly canceled/voided by the system.

    As a result, I ended my Draft run with a record of 6 wins and 3 losses. Without this technical failure, I would have achieved the maximum 7 wins and 2 losses. Since Draft events require an entry fee and offer rewards based on performance, I feel significantly disadvantaged by this error.

    I would appreciate it if you could look into this incident and provide a fair resolution, such as a compensation of the reward difference or a partial refund of the entry fee (Gems/Gold).

18. Booster Tutor doesn't work like it says on the card

    Booster Tutor reads "open a sealed magic pack and reveal the cards." However, I didn't see the cards my opponent got to select from when they cast it.

    Don't want a refund or anything, but I think this should be fixed. It's important game info.

19. Bug on pre-release booster pack

    Hello,

    I have done some pre-release event ( 3 pre-release on tarkir, 3 on final fantasy, 2 on foundation) the gamestore in my city is « la crypte du jeu » - marseille.

    This store use companion official application, i draft every week, at the fnm.

    after the pre-release i don’t have the bonus pack on arena ! and this is the good mail used and same account of companion.

    i ´m french and i do my possible for being understand, but if you can, answer me in french.

20. Bug with "Order of the Mirror" card in mystery pack draft event

    In a premier draft opponent played Order of the Mirror and flipped it into Order of the Alabaster Host. Card reads that when blocked each creature blocking it receives minus one minus one until end of turn. Instead, when block all creatures I controlled got minus one minus one for each creature blocking it effectively clearing my full board.
