How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Spell Targeting issue with Giantfall

    When in full control I targeted my creature with a giantfall. After selecting my creature I then was unable to target an opponents creature.

    PC/Steam

    I should be able to select an opponents creature after selecting my own while using giantfall.

  2. Unable to loggin

    During the 3rd pack of the draft, the server crashed and wouldn't let me log back in, always showing a loading error message followed by a black screen.
    I conclude that the draft has already finished and I haven't been able to pick a single card from pack 3, and I still can't log back in.

    It's worth noting that I have a stable internet connection with no signs of interruption, and other errors of this type have occurred throughout the week, affecting other drafts I did previously. Will there be any kind of compensation for this type of error?

  5. Unable to Login (Timeout)

    I have this seemingly old bug some ppl experienced before. Is there a clear path i could not find in all the posts how to fix this issue? Cant login since a few hours.

  6. Sokka's Haiku unable to cast during Omniscience Quick Draft Event

    Sokka's Haiku was unable to counter Crashing Wave in the Omniscience Quick Draft. The card did not highlight to indicate it was a "potential" instant-speed response but other cards did highlight. I tried to drag it out anyway and it would not cast the spell.

  7. I am currently unable to purchase packs

    For the past week I have been unable to purchase packs from the store. When I load the “get packs” tab of the store the tab is empty, except for the option to select which set I would be purchasing packs from. No matter which set I select no option to purchase packs is displayed.

  8. Infinite causes timeout loss for other player

    Opponent using an infinite involving giving Polyraptor and Forerunner of the Empire invulnerability, then repeatedly choosing for Forerunner to deal 1 damage to all creatures, results in several hundred stacks of triggers, and causes the other player to lose due to taking no game actions - even if completely tapped out of mana.

  9. Double strike damage WITHOUT TRAMPLE is carrying over to player.

    I'll post a video here shortly when it happens again (has happened multiple times)

    Creature warrior, collosus hammer, creature giving equiped warriors double strike.. THE BUG!!: NO TRAMPLE.

    Attacker with double strike is blocked
    (USUALLY the 1st attack doesn't have the excess damage carry over to the player.. then ALWAYS the 2nd attack has any excess damage carry over to the player.

    I thought excess damage can only carry over if the attacking creature has trample

  10. Game crashes when player hp is too low

    The game crashed when I got an opponent who used a pair of double enchanment "Doubling Season" got his cards with counters beyond 5200 causing a final total life on my player of -41828. Looks like the code can't handle such a low value and it crashed.

  11. Unable to earn EXP or rewards on Mastery after purchasing the Mastery pass

    Unable to earn EXP or rewards on Mastery after purchasing the Mastery pass. I am stuck on level 38 (300/1000), even after winning several games in a row.

  12. Bug - Unable to play at all

    IOS
    After finishing the 5 initial training duels where you get the starting cards I am unable to log in the game anymore (tried several times for 2 days. The game starts to load but then just gives some network error althought when I try the option to check status all seems correct.
    PC - Windows
    I tried playing through Steam on my PC running Windows as well. I dowloaded the MTG Arena, signed in with the same credentials and got the exact same problem. So, the issue is not related to the platform

  13. Targeting bug with Mockingbird

    Mockingbird reads 'you may have this creature enter as a copy of any creature on the battlefield with mana value LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO the amount of mana spent to cast this creature'. I play Mockingbird, paying 2U (total of 3 mana). On my field I have:

    Druneth, Reviver of the Hive (GU = 2MV)
    Avatar of the Resolute (GG = 2MV)
    Pond Prophet ({G/U}{G/U} = 2MV)

    I'm unable to target ANY of them. They do not appear as clickable (highlighted). I'm also unable to target any of the creatures on my opponents' boards (except their 2/2 zombie druid…

  14. Unable to select enchantment

    I’m doing a premium draft and my opponent enchanted my green champion with bitter blossom. I then played the green changing that lets you destroy target artifact or enchantment, but it never let me select the enchantment and submit. I even tried getting out of the app and back in, but still had no luck.

  15. Unable to unlock doors for Rickedy gazebo unacceptable

    Unable to unlock door rickety gazebo says mill 4 bring 2 back did not do that than tried to use my remaining mana to bring in another creature using a skill and again did not work fix your stupidity ******* game this is unbelievable waste 50 minutes on your ********* game and the only cards that do what they say they do is my opponents

  16. Timeless legal card unable to be registered

    Force of negation is fully legal in Timeless but I am unable to include it in my decks. It is searchable under the format legal: timeless filter and I own a playset, but the client will not let me register it in a deck. It was previously registered in this deck just last week, and I only discovered it was removed when I was attempting to build a new deck. I am on the mobile platform

  17. Unable to cast some instant spells in exile

    After exiling two cards using Opera Love Song, I had two remaining untapped mana and two instants in exile Dreadmaw's Ire and Sazacap's brew, I was able to cawse Sazacaps brew which cost two but unable to cast Dreadmaw's Ire. In the included screenshot note that there is no blue around Dreadmaw's Ire, I tried to cast it anyway to no avail even though I have legal targets. This has happened with other instants as well.

    I have experiences this while playing on Mac and my Phone, I only have a screenshot for my Mac.

  18. Unable to Find a Match or Draft Table

    Trying to find an opponent in the Arena Direct Play Booster event and never finding one. Trying to find a table in Premier Draft of TMNT and unable to find a table. Please refund the Premier Draft gems.

  19. player has over 200 cards in their deck

    i just submitted a report about a player with over 200 cards in the deck and i am now playing a game where the same thing has happened. it is very frustrating that this has started to happen so often. please look into this as i am now not going to play arena any more. you have lost a customer until it is resolved.

  20. Eroding Revenue and Player Confidence in MTGA

    I bought into some aspects of MTGA with the hopes the client would improve; being an early adopter in summer 2020.

    It is disappointing when developer debt appears to be mounting. That WotC should hire more developers and/or decrease set releases to give the current time more time to work on updates (namely testing updates).

    What is a larger slap in the face is how the economy is being eroded. If you spent money (USD) on packs (and by extension using that to also to craft certain cards), then to find your crafted cards has been shifted in rarity in…
