How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. unable to get collection

    When I start the client, after 1 minute of loading, I get the error: "Network Error: Unable to get collection." I get the same error on both Windows and Android.

  2. Unable to join premier draft

    I keep getting locked into "Network Error: Unable to join event" for Premier draft. Now, I can't play anymore.

    Then, I tried to submit this bug and got a 404 error.

  3. unable to target permanents covered by stack image.

    Was playing a Duskmoor draft. I had two doors in play, put side by side on the right hand of the screen. Attempted to cast a spell requiring sacrificing an enchantment as part of the casting cost. With the unresolved spell showing on the stack, the door I intended to sacrifice was covered and UNSELECTABLE, no hightlighted arrow, no result from repeated clicking all around the area, and could not move the image of the stack from its position. Attempted multiple times till the timer ran out.

    Introduction
    In the past, I played EDH with a group of 4 friends. And often the time did not match up, leaving only 3 people. So I thought of playing 3 people at the same time. Let's call it One Way (I have a simple illustration).

    1. One Way When Player A attacks in a direction, the attack direction is forced to Player B only. And Player B forces to attack in C only.
    2. With instant or sorcery, the target can go in any direction to…

  5. Unable to purchase Gems on MTG Arena

    I am unable to purcahase Gems on my MTG Arena account. Whenever I go to purchase them, the screen goes to 'Waiting for server', then either freezes or eventually after about 7 or 8 minutes goes to 'unable to access Server or something Similar.

    I can play games and Draft fine, but cannot buy Gems with which to play.

    Please advise as to what to do; i have contacted Customer Support and they Directed me here.

  6. Unable to sideboard in best of 3

    Unable to use the sideboard in best of 3. I tried to sideboard and the cards won’t get added into my deck. If I take a card out I cannot readd it either unless I clear the app and reload it

  7. Unable to sideboard or rejoin game

    I tried to concede from game 1 from the Std Metagame Challenge, and when I tried to click settings I missed and closed the window, closing the client. When I reloaded the client, the game was still active and so I conceded the game as normal. However, I was unable to see my deck (only my sideboard), or confirm any deck configuration, instead seeing the screen as shown in my file. I couldn't rejoin the game after multiple attempts, and could only concede from the settings.

  8. Unable to Connect, Login, etc. Authentication failed: Timeout.

    Unable to Connect, Login, etc. Authentication failed: Timeout. Waiting for server. There's a white box spinning. Game has been working all day. Took a break and now it's not working.

  9. Unable to cast Shoot the Sheriff on non-outlaw creature (could only target tokens)

    Standard quick play Bo1 - tried casting shoot the sheriff on my darkstar augar to not die. would not allow me to select any targets other than tokens even though no creatures were outlaws.

  10. Unable to Purchase Gems with Paypal

    Unable to Purchase Gems with PayPal. Tried multiple times and the only screen that comes up is 'Just a second" with the spinning circle. Tried twice, same thing. Went into my PayPal account directly, no activity showing so far. Assuming not going through?

  12. Unable to cast spells at instant speed

    During game 3 in Traditional Draft, I was suddenly unable to cast spells at instant speed. Could not trigger Ninjuitsu, and could not cast a Spell Pierce to counter my opponent's bomb. This caused me to lose the match-up.

  13. Unable to connect on wifi

    I play on Android and PC. When I am on WiFi I cannot connect. Either the servers fails to connect or get unable to get collection.
    However if I put my phone on data I can connect and play as normal.
    Tried putting my pc on personal hotspot but no dice though I think that may be a setup thing.

  14. Bug: Strip mina can't target opponents land

    Opponent had a single plains in play.
    I had swamp. That was the whole board
    Played and taped strip mine to destroy target land
    Only my own swamp was a valid target. Tried to cancel out and try again. It did not allow me to target opponents land.

    Arena Brawl on android.

  16. unable to purchase anything from store

    Tried purchasing Bundles and Gems from the store the past 2 weeks, however once I click purchase. The screen is stuck on a "Waiting for Server" loop and I'm unable to complete the purchase. Any feedback or support to correct this would be very helpful.

    I tried to purchase some of the outlaw junction pre-release bundles and the Mastery Pass bundles while they were on sale but were unable to, which was unfortunate.

  17. Avatar's Wrath fails if target removed even when the text doesn't require a target

    The text on Avatar's Wrath says "choose up to one target creature, then airbend all the other creatures."
    Since the wording is "up to" it doesn't require any targeted creatures at all.
    However, currently if a targeted creature is removed, the spell fails.
    To Reproduce:
    have a creature
    target it with Avatar's Wrath.
    Remove the creature before Avatar's Wrath Resolves.

  18. Unable to play after reconnection

    • Lose connection and reconnect after 10 sec in a ranked game
    • Click 'Reconnect' button
    • Notice Timer stops on your opponent and you are unable to continue

  19. unable to login authentication failed

    When I open Arena, it opens to a black screen that reads "Unable to Login. Authentication failed for kodama-llama: An exception occurred"

    I have tried logging out and logging in and uninstalling and reinstalling to fix the issue, but neither works.

  20. 4 player

    Since Brawl is a multiplayer format, any plans to bring it into Arena with the support for the format as a multiplayer (4 play option) Brawl as a singleton variant to 1 v 1 plays more like duel or who can counter who, the appeal of the format in paper is it's likeness to Commander and a deeper social mechanic that influences the game deeper than just cardpool. The roadmap currently for Arena doesn't mention this.

    In the meantime, Brawl needs to be consistent and free play including the historic Brawl option for players to get more…
