1. Your game is full of hackers and modders

   I’ve said it before I’ll say it again. This game is minimizable and crossplatform meaning people who are playing on pc or phones are using third party apps. No one can prove it and only you can I’m not putting a single cent into this game until it’s fixed. In reality which this is no one is allowed to cheat. So why am I being dealt this problem on a daily basis? In tournaments they would be banned for life for committing to those actions, mind you in reality people do cheat but that is the circumstances they’d be dealt with. You cant say there isn’t cheaters because I’ve been dealt with many different problems that do reoccur. Duplicated cards at hand as soon as the timer fuse runs down even a mm. Cards that could have been played earlier on in the game “but they decided not to” like cmon man. That’s not even the beginning. There are players destroying cards without using destroy card abilities or exile abilities. There are players making me skip my turns without even using time warp cards. There are players cheating you can’t say that doesn’t sound fishy. Because when in reality I could play the same decks as them and I’d never get those kind of hands maybe .0004% of the time I would but it’s not every game like most of these so called “lucky” players get. **** I’ve even come across a couple people using the same deck as me LURRUS companion and using cards that are waaaaaaaaaaay over 2 cmc and bringing them back to the field like cmon if that isn’t enough proof for you to check into the servers and fix the root of everyone’s problem then I’m gonna quit. Well wouldnt that be a waste of 200$ I put into the game just he move an inch up the ladder. Like I know there are a lot of good players out but I could pick and see who the real players are to these cheaters who claim to be “competitive” like the players who actually put a pretty penny into the game. I love this game I’ve played it since I was a kid don’t let these players ruin it for others because I’ve had 4 friends who quit already because of it. And people claim it’s algorithm when clearly it’s not. Those are the very people that claim people aren’t cheating in the game and they say “git gud” like I’m 2-3 weeks into the game I’m new as **** to this app but I put money down to get the cards I need to win the games legitimately. Makes me wonder if half these players who do cheat put anything into the contribution of Mtga growth. I don’t wanna have to deal with this every game. The reason I put this into bugs is because this bugs the **** out of me when I do everything to get to where I am in the games ranking for historic. Oh and for your information lurrus can only be used if people have non land permanent cards that are 2cmc or lower. This alone proves that players are cheating to gain ranks. Please don’t get rid of lurrus either I just spent nearly 200$ to create my lurrus deck.

4. Game is not fun anymore

   This game is not fun anymore. I enjoyed it for a while until something happened in these last few months. Everyone plays the exact same decks with the same cards which cost a fortune and are annoying and awful. They basically just stop people from playing anything for enough rounds until they have enough mana to play a wipeout spell. It is extremely frustrating and not at all what this game is supposed to be, or has ever been, paper or otherwise. The new expansions haven't helped. Alchemy hasn't helped. Now Historic is going by the wayside.

   If I wanted to play a game of ping pong I'd get a **** ping pong table. Countering and unsummoning and board wiping back and forth is BORING, yet you seem to be creating more and more and cheaper and cheaper cards to do that. Why???

   I'm out. I was considering dropping a few dollars to buy some new cards and compete until recently, but this has gotten ridiculous. I don't even want to try to come up with new combos and decks anymore, which has been the GREATEST part of my magic experience for nearly 30 years. Goodbye. I'll spend my time and money elsewhere.

5. Blank match, no cards, timer activated

   iOS, after most recent (July 2025) update, match starts and instead of seeing opening hand, I see a blank tableau, two decks, avatars, but hand never loads.

6. Disable animations

   Enter settings that allow you to disable animations.
   Specifically, the settings should allow you to disable the animations of: pet, saga cards, all animations in general

7. draft draws are bull, shuffles screwed, opps lag you out on your turn but their is fine, then the cards

   first i never see the cards these guys are pulling and 3 or 4 copies i swear it a trad draft but the card im getting dont even make a deck, needless the shuffle with 18 lands will drop no lands for 6 draws, and with 15 its all land no creatures, in 6 draws, the second and third game have the worst handicaps ive seen, top decking opps every round, and getting none of the valid draft cards, with 2 of each, so often starting with both copies of up to two seperate cards. what are those odds guys? i dont know why i tried its already a waste of gold, the first dude wrecked **** and im not playing bad setup, first game went ok, after that nothing. not for 2 matches did i get anything playable just lay a land plat a card die more everyturn, even when **** was working the classing i jacked im struggling to feild 3 commons for 2 and dude rocked 5 casting costers that survive their first turn out. and they get multiples on the feild i start with a pair and get nothing. i just have never seen this bad of a real life alogorithm. match after match event after event, i think some of us are just getting churnd for others, i had to pick like 8 cards i didnt want everything is matched and balanced but fck if i cant draw worth anything. buncha *** draft cards even the good ones, and no hope of prize support. lucky to get 1 10th of my investment. 3 packs for 10k garanteed losses. the last match starts laggin then dropping garbage, i quit and **** off.

8. Stop printing cards that produce tokens

   If it's a permanent, it should have to be in one-to-one correspondence with a card in the deck. Tokens are just a bad idea. The game is better without them.

9. Tutorial bug

   Can't finish the tutorial on android OS for the Blue island deck with the Merman. The cards bunch together and can't select cards.

10. Can’t see the card text

    Since yesterday the system shows me the cards with no text at all and with some weird art where it should go the text. I thought it was a WiFi or Internet problem, but I already used 2 different WiFis and my normal internet. These made loose 0-3 a Quick Draft and I just purchased another one, but the cards are still looking weird. I uploaded a Screenshot so you can see what I mean.

12. Black card animations glitch and lockout of game

    I noticed since the last update the animation for some cards or just casting certain black cards glitch my game out and presumably I’m locked out of the game until I rope out. I play on mobile, so far ayara, first of lochtwain, rankle, mater of pranks, and murderous rider all have locked me out of the game on cast… screen goes black and every time I reboot arena it takes me to the match and as I load into the game it crashes it allows me back on after the timers seem to run out. It’s kind of disheartening as I just made the conscious decision to purchase gems for a mastery pass after the bug with Koma deterred me from wanting to spend money, and I can’t even enjoy the purchase yet again.

13. Not allowed to break singleton rule with ***** Against Humanity in Brawl

    When trying to craft a Brawl deck based around ***** Against Humanity, I get an error saying that "This deck contains too many cards of a card" despite this contradicting the rules text on ***** Against Humanity

14. Historic Brawl without alchemy

    I'll go ahead and add my voice to all the people asking for dedicated alchemy-free matchmaking for all formats - especially brawl and historic brawl. The ability to repeatedly conjure cards out of thin air runs counter to the entire idea of a singleton, fixed-decksize format. Not to mention that the alchemy mechanics are just exceptionally unfun to deal with, especially when abused egregiously (i'm looking at you, crucias). Win or lose, I've never come out of a match against an alchemy-focused deck with a good taste in my mouth, so I - and many others - would appreciate the ability to avoid those cards like the plague that they are.

15. sideboard

    Disconnecting and Reconnecting during a Bo3 match prevents you from moving cards in and out of sideboard. Can pretty much replicate this by quitting and reconnecting.

16. repeatedly gathering local files bug

    Every time I start MTG Arena, the game is "gathering local files" which takes a couple of minutes (on PC via Steam).
    Temporarily, this issue can be fixed by setting the registry entry "HashFilesOnStartup_..." to 0.
    But when restarting the next time, it is gathering local files again.

17. historic play with no Alchemy

    How About a No Alchemy Historic Play Option?... I Just can't comprehend how you can have Power 9 cards (that are banned in every format) and be ok with them in Alchemy, also alchemy cards are so power crept, magic is not heartstone... stop trying to be heartstone.

18. Sideboard Disappears

    The game removes the BO3 half of the sideboard cards when playing a friend challenge of historic tournament.

    On PC
    Create a traditional historic deck with full 15 card side board and categorize it as such
    Friend challenge to Historic Tournament Match
    Select the deck
    Actual Result: Play match, after first game the BO3 marked portion of the sideboard is gone. Post match sideboard is missing the BO3 marked portion
    Expected Result: BO3 marked portion of the sideboard is there and the deck is not edited

19. Win recorded as loss

    I was playing OTJ draft with two losses and 0 wins. I won my next match but the app recorded both 1 loss and 1 win. Since that totaled 3 losses, I’m not able to continue.

20. Scan cards to arena

    We should have the ability to scan booster packs to mtg arena. This is already possible with Pokemon, let's make this happen with MTG and Arena.
