1. Can't change format of invalid deck even though it been edited to be valid

   On Mac, when I edit a deck with Limited format and make if valid for Standard or any other format it won't allow me to change the format. I can see the drop down being activated but it is behind the Creatures and Non-creatures information and can't be selected. I have tried cloning the deck, and exporting and importing it back and all new copies are still Limited and no way to change them. The only way I have found around it is to literally write down a list of the cards and re-create the deck from scratch.

2. Tutorial constructed format text bug

   In the text for new players explaining the various constructed formats there are some card examples that are overlaid on top of the text descriptions of multiple formats making it impossible to read the descriptions of the formats. I am on android, on a Samsung Z Fold 5.

3. alchemy ruining historic

   I'm really starting to get sick of Alchemy. I've stopped trying to collect alchemy cards and I refuse to play in any alchemy event. Furthermore, I disdain the fact that alchemy cards are able to be used in Historic. You might as well take out Historic. Alchemy is ruining the wonderful Historic format that you once had. I find these alchemy card such as Teferi Time Raveler (that the original was banned) and Undercity Plunder, to name a few unfair, and I'm constantly getting beat by Esper and/or Azorious control decks. I used to have a good Historic deck that I enjoyed playing. But it is amateur compared to these Alchemy decks that ppl are bringing in. I'd like to either see alchemy in it's own format, or get rid of it altogether. I loathe the format, and allowing these cards in Historic, is furthermore making me loathe that too. I've seen other ppl in this forum complain, yet it seems you shed a blind eye and push alchemy on us even more. I would like to see something changed about this otherwise, I may stop playing because it's not fun.

4. Petition for Timeless Events in MTG Arena

   Petition for Timeless Events in MTG Arena

   Dear MTG Arena Team,

   As a passionate player of Timeless, I would like to respectfully request the addition of dedicated Timeless or Timeless Classic events to MTG Arena. Timeless is my favorite format in Arena because of its depth, variety, and the ability to explore strategies across Magic’s history.

   Currently, the only way to engage with Timeless competitively is through the ranked ladder. While this is enjoyable, it feels incomplete without events that allow players to earn rewards, test themselves in structured runs, and experience the format in a tournament-like environment, much like Standard or Historic events already provide.

   It is also clear that the community is eager to play Timeless competitively. Every time a Timeless Challenge is available, the queues fire almost instantly, which shows that events would be well-received and highly successful.

   Another strong reason is that Timeless currently offers the healthiest and most diverse metagame in Arena. Historic has become dominated by Eldrazi, Pioneer shows limited variety, and Standard is going through a rough patch. In contrast, Timeless remains fresh and exciting thanks to the continuous addition of cards through Arena Anthologies.

   Adding Timeless events would:

   Give players meaningful goals outside of ranked play.

   Allow those of us who love the format to earn packs and gems in a fair and balanced way.

   Create more opportunities for the community to grow around Timeless, fostering long-term engagement.

   Please consider implementing Timeless events. It would make a huge difference to players like me who see Timeless not just as another format, but as the most exciting way to play Magic on Arena.

6. alchemy

   As someone who has played almost every day for the past year and poured $1700+ into my Standard and Historic collections, the Alchemy changes in Historic make me regret ever playing Arena. Out of 20+ Historic decks only two were playable without swapping for rebalanced Alchemy cards, when they're not even the most broken cards in the format.

   I got into Historic because I was a kitchen table player in paper and wanted a more challenging and interesting format closer to what I was use to without using the unsightly and annoyingly cumbersome MTGO platform. Now I can't even escape to Historic when Standard is boring me. Alchemy is fine if you want to spice up Standard, but keep it out of Historic.

8. Multi-Player Historic Brawl

   Please add 4 player Historic Brawl option for MtGA. We, as the player base know, that “Historic Brawl” is essentially EDH, a format that was designed to be multi-player. For this reason, I’m suggesting the addition of multi-player historic brawl so the format can be enjoyed as intended, with multiple people.
   This would also,I believe, increase the player base in the long term, and encourage people to play online with their friends. It would make a killer addition to MtGA

9. Arena frustration – Draft is the only playable format

   Dear Magic Team,

   I have been a Magic player for years, and I must be honest: Arena is becoming increasingly frustrating. Constructed formats are almost unplayable due to overpowered cards like Collected Company, and games are often decided by turn 3–4. There is almost no middle ground: either one player dominates immediately, or loses immediately.

   Draft is currently the only format that still delivers real Magic gameplay. But even there, it has limitations: expensive, only current sets are available, and little variety. Arena cannot sustain long-term player engagement under these conditions.

   I sincerely hope future updates will focus more on balance, variety, and genuine gameplay enjoyment rather than just quick wins and wildcard grind.

10. Take Alchemy out of Historic Brawl

    I use Historic Brawl to playtest REAL cards in a format which is the closest relative to EDH. Separate alchemy from historic brawl! It's hard enough reading a double sided card when you're on a timer let alone a specialize card with 5 different variations. Also Oracle of the Alpha was a mistake, especially in a format with a max deck size. The fact that only blue players can play a card which adds 9 cards to a 100 card limit deck and the fact that those cards are not available to other players in the format unless they play oracle is not a balanced feature. Conjuring as well is adding cards past the max card limit and seek is not a mechanic that can exist in real game play. None of these Alchemy mechanics are fun to play against as they break the traditional gameplay laws that exist. I understand balancing certain cards but keep alchemy in it's own category.

11. Alchemy

    I can't see why we need another format, that is also messing with existing formats. This bombardment with new cards (and lame digitalonly mechanics) is becoming more and more tedious.
    Alchemy is just a slap in the face of every enfranchised player, as it implies that you are going to care even less about quality carddesigns.
    That leads to a situation where if Standard is in a good place,
    Alchemy will only set itself apart from standard by the new (*******) cards you shoved into it and if standard is in a bad place and needs to be changed you will do that by changing a new phantasie format instead.

    Just slow down a little.. give us a break and start putting more effort in less product again. MTG is becoming the cardgame-equivalent of fastfoodrestaurants. Tasty stuff, no nutrition.

12. Brawl without Alchemy cards

    I really find the Brawl format interesting and from time to time when there are some Brawl events offered on MTGA I play them and enjoy them very very much. But then I try playing Brawl outside these events (Historic brawl??). It is the worst experience of my live. I hate Magic. There are some idiotic cards, too powerful, that cannot be interacted with, very oppressive and very unfun!!

    Mythweaver Poq, Rusko Clockmaker, Nashi, Illusion Gadgeteer, are only a few of these... Especially the Poq, whenever my ooponent presents it as their commander, I scoop.

    Please make Brawl free of the cancer you call Alchemy. Or make the Alchemy cards more balanced.

    Also, PLEASE offer us Alchemy free Historic format!!!

15. Traditional Brawl

    please please please create a traditional brawl format, I cannot stand the alchemy cards, a large number of them feel very broken and many others are ridiculous in the amount of information you would have to have to predict what they do. I don't want them banned in Brawl, id just like a format where I didn't have to deal with them, and I'm sure there are others who would like it as well

17. BUG: Cant change a Brawl deck to a Standard Brawl deck

    I've made a duplicate copy of a brawl deck, and want to modify it to a standard brawl format. However, when I go to edit the deck details, the dropdown for deck type shows up under the card statistics, and is therefore unselectable.

18. Heist

    Please make an adjustment to the heist mechanic or to the heist cards. The cards are not fun to play against, and they have been making for a miserable experience in alchemy.

    From a gameplay enjoyment perspective, it is not fun having your opponent consistently take the best cards out of your deck. It greatly reduces deckbuilding choices and creates imbalanced gameplay patterns.

    From a mechanic standpoint:

    1. Heist nonrandomly removes the strongest cards from your deck. This is problematic because it makes your own draws significantly weaker. Normally, that would have an opportunity cost for the player removing those cards like in the case of 'the stone brain'. However, the heist player instead gets rewarded and they can infinitely play the card that they just took from your deck.

    2. Heist cards are too efficient for the power of their effect. Since they were printed, the heist cards have defined the alchemy format. Having a heist effect on a 1 mana modal instant is far too strong and the metagames shows it.

    3. Heist is not random enough. The mechanic shows three nonland cards. Unfortunately, this is not random enough to ensure that the heist player can reasonable miss as taking a card that they want out of your deck. This creates situations where side boarding against heist becomes impossible. Putting one or two of a card in your deck against heist is foolish, because the heist deck can take that card almost guaranteed before you draw it.

    4. Post-rotation, there are not enough cards that effectively counter heist. There are very few cards that can interact with the cards they take from your deck, which again, limits deckbuilding choices.

    Finally, from the perspective of the Alchemy format as a whole... this format is supposed to be the format where rebalances are easy to implement. The whole point of the format is that changes can be made to problematic individual cards or mechanics. I know for a fact that there are players who have quit the format specifically because they hate the heist mechanic.

    Please rebalance heist or the heist cards.

20. Stop with Alchemy in Historic please!!

    Hi,

    Please, PLEASE stop putting Alchemy and other digital only cards cards in Historic (or other non-alchemy formats for that matter..)
    It's such a dumb format now, just as Alchemy itself is just horrible.

    If you want to have Alchemy/Jumpstart on Arena, fine, but please leave Historic alone! If I wanted something where cards get made out of nothing I'd be playing heartstone or Eternal.

    Jumpstart Horizons and Alchemy should not exist.
