How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Sideboard invalid after 7 cards... decks now unplayable due to being invalid after having more than 7 cards in sideboard. over a week bugged

    My Deck is invalid when sideboard is over 7 cards. Used to be able to play standard with 15 card sideboard, now anything over 7 makes decks invalid. So most of my decks are now unplayable due to not having any proper sideboard.

  2. No sideboard

    I've been complaining about this bug for over 6 months and you guys never do anything... the game simply closes when the first game ends, skips the sideboard selection and returns to this screen. I've been complaining about this for over 6 months...

  3. Unable to sideboard or rejoin game

    I tried to concede from game 1 from the Std Metagame Challenge, and when I tried to click settings I missed and closed the window, closing the client. When I reloaded the client, the game was still active and so I conceded the game as normal. However, I was unable to see my deck (only my sideboard), or confirm any deck configuration, instead seeing the screen as shown in my file. I couldn't rejoin the game after multiple attempts, and could only concede from the settings.

  4. Invalid Sideboard Error When Deck Has 15 Cards

    1. Steps to reproduce the bug:

      Open MTG Arena on PC and create a new deck.

      Add your mainboard cards as normal.

      Add exactly 15 cards to the sideboard.

      Attempt to save the deck.

    2. Platform:
      PC

    3. Actual results:
      The client displays an error message:

      “Invalid deck: can't have more than 15 cards in a sideboard,”
      even though there are only 15 cards in the sideboard. It prevents saving the deck.

    4. Expected results:
      The deck should be valid and save successfully with 15 cards in the sideboard, as this is the maximum legal amount.

    5. Workaround:
      Reducing the sideboard…

  5. Historic Metagame Event Bug - Sideboard issue

    During the Historic Metagame Event, when going to sideboard, I was only able to access my Best on One sideboard cards, instead of the Best Of Three set. This caused me to be unable to sideboard my graveyard hate cards against reanimator decks, and I lost early on two seperate entries. I had tried a second time hoping it was just a one time glitch, but it continues to be consistent.

  6. can't add more than 7 cards in sideboard in bo3 standard deck

    When I try to save a deck with more than 7 cards in sideboard I have the message than my deck can't have more than 15 cards in sideboard

  7. Sideboard shows only the 7 first cards

    Between games I can see in my sideboard only 7 cards!!
    We are only few hours before Mtg Arena qualifier weekend and this problem came up. Please solve it!!

  8. Unable to interact/view sideboard bug

    Hi, since the update, i experience a problem in all drafts, i cant scroll, close view, and sideboard cards only until deck build these cause me big problems and had lost matches and gems. I am top 50 limited ranked (was 20 before). Please solve it and a kind of compensation would be rational, since the system problem cause losses

  9. Sideboard not working

    Trying to rank up on latter in pioneer going good and then all of a sudden my sideboard is only showing 7 cards instead of 15 really annoying

  10. Can't see the rest of sideboard in best of 3

    So I don't know what is causing this issue but in best of 3 even though I have 15 cards in my sideboard, I can only see six instead of the rest of my sideboard.

    Game Mode:
    Timeless, Best-of-Three (Traditional Ranked or Traditional Play)

    Issue Description:
    In Best-of-Three Timeless matches, the game restricts players to only 6 sideboard cards instead of the intended 15. This appears to be a severe miscalculation of sideboard rules, as even Best-of-One formats typically allow 7 cards.

    Timeless, as a Constructed format, should follow traditional BO3 sideboard rules permitting 15 cards. Currently, the 6-card limit makes competitive sideboarding impossible.

  12. Sideboard qualifier weekend

    Hi, i went into the qualifier weekend day 1 with a companion and when I went to sideboard, only 7 of the fifteen cards were available. This may be due to the companion.

    Could you please reimburse me for the qualifier day 1 event? I was playing control, so missing my sideboard definitely caused me to lose the event.

  13. Yorion Causing Sideboard to Only Show 7 Cards in Bo3

    Platform: Mac, downloaded via Epic

    Format: Historic Ranked Bo3

    Deck: Yorion UW Control (see attached screenshot)

    Issue: My deck has a 15 card sideboard, which is shown in the third screenshot. However, while sideboarding in Bo3 games, my sideboard was only showing the first seven cards (or rather, the first six plus Yorion in the Companion section of the mainboard - see first and second screenshots). I tested a companion-less version of this deck in the same format, and in that match, I could see my 15 card sideboard as normal, which leads me to believe that this…

  14. I cannot create a pioneer deck whit more than 7 cards in sideboard

    Whenever i add more than 7 cards to the sideboard i get the invalid deck image about my deck having more than 15 cards in sideboard please need help on a fix for this

  15. SIDEBOARD ONGOING ISSUE

    Problem with sideboarding in bo3 due to glitch involving companion.
    Been going on for months. Keeps trying to put a second companion into my sideboard. When I manually remove it it functions for awhile before locking me out of sideboarding and giving invalid deck errors

    After a few hours it fixes itself but then starts up again

    Have to delete and reimport deck

  16. sideboard only displays 6 cards

    when playing best of 3 pioneer, I am only shown 6 of my 15 sideboard cards between games. I have not played a yorion deck in a while and do wonder if this is somehow a bug associated with the larger deck size. i have recreated it several times in mobile and on PC

  18. Sideboard is incorrectly counting cards

    When the last patch 2025.49.50 was installed some decks became unusable, because the game says they have the incorrect number of sideboard cards, despite them having the correct number (15 cards). Also I cannot save decks for the same reason. If I put more than seven cards, if says it cannot have more than 15 cards and I cannot save the deck.

  19. Swapping Between Deck and Sideboard while Deck Building

    The version of the Arena app I am using (2024.44.0.2235.1106704) does not appear to support any swapping of cards between deck and sideboard while deck building. I have to remove a card from one, and then add it to the other after manually swapping between.
    Either allow both Deck and Sideboard to be simultaneously visible, or provide some method for swapping cards between in a single step.

  20. Can't Sideboard

    Currently can't sideboard at all on BO3. Cards don't even show up - just the blank image attached below. The Done and Back buttons also do nothing, forcing me to restart the app and wait out the loading timer just to play the next game.
