Bad French translation for Mazemind Tome
In French, Mazemind Tome is written "Scry 2" instead of "Scry 1" which is correct in English.

BUG: Arcane Epiphany cost reduction not applying
Played a game in which Arcane Epiphany was not being discounted despite controlling multiple wizards (as seen in screenshot). Once I cast it, it showed that it actually cost 3, but it still used 4 mana. Not sure how that's possible.

Half of life rounded up is auto 20 when at 20
There is a card I'm too angry to remember the name but it's circulating in plat and above tiers in swamp decks that the card effect is to do half of life rounded up yet if you are at base hp it instakills players clearly know this bug as I've had a few games now losing to it and the players dropping a GG message just before using it so a known and exploited bug with this card and damage values is destroying the legitimacy of ranked matches far too frequently

Spell Piercing your own Hidetsugu's interaction not working
Incorrect rules interactions
1. Steps for bug:
I had Death to our Enemies in play with 2 tokens on it, opponent had 5 life remaining, I cast Hidetsugu's Second Rite on opponent with correct mana available to cast Spell Pierce on my own spell, even though they did not have 10 life, the objective was to trigger my Death to our Enemies by getting 4 counters on it. the 3rd counter was added by the Hidetsugu's Second Rite, but with the remaining blue mana i could not cast Spell Piece on my own Hidetsugu's Second Rite. The way the card is worded, this should work just fine. But the interaction does not populate.Windows 11 PCEnter the actual results you’re experiencingSpell Pierce unable to target my own casted Hidetsugu's Second RiteToo late for screenshotsNo work around. Petrify
What's the point of people reporting bugs if they aren't addressed or fixed? Nobody has done anything regarding the Petrify card! It's becoming increasingly annoying that it does not stop your opponent's abilities. It only stops them from attacking or blocking. Here's a suggestion, fix the game you have before adding new cards like the Marvel collection, and I'm a Marvel fan. Smfh.

Mishra, Claimed by Gix and Avenger of the fallen
I'm playing on PC
Avenger of the Fallen's Mobilize trigger is put on stack under Mishra's attack trigger creating the tokens after the drain effect when it could be more effective if they were created before it.
It would me more in line with others Mobilize triggers that are correctly put to resolve before Mishra
Thanks

Fix broken cards. Hexproof beats fatal push except in your game. Fail. Royal Treatment is ironically failing
Fix broken cards from past sets before you make up overpowered cards for losers like your 'Alchemy' sets. No wonder no one I know in real life plays Arena anymore. You cannot even program hexproof correctly.

Fix Royal Treatment. Instant hexproof trumps instant removal. Except in your Fail version of MTG.
How does an instant surpass hexproof? On MTG Fail-rena, that is how. Fix the broken cards before you make more useless extra Alchemy BS sets. Same as paper promise failed for something that should have been it's own standalone game. Why didn't you make alchemy it's own game? Because you knew it would fail. Smh.

Royal Treatment does not work. Hexproof did not protect against Fatal Push. You fail at simple mechanics while creating Alchemy. Fail.
Fatal push should have been voided by hexproof granted by Royal Treatment.
Except my creature died because you fail at programming the simplest mechanics of magic.1 vote -
Critical Feedback: Player Retention, Ranked Matchmaking, and Bo1 Variance Economy
To the MTG Arena Development and Player Experience Teams,
I am writing to you today as a dedicated player and a regular financial investor in MTG Arena. Over the last several sets, I have spent a significant amount of money supporting this game because I love the core mechanics of Magic: The Gathering. However, the current state of the digital ecosystem—specifically regarding the ranked ladder, matchmaking algorithms, and the Best-of-One (Bo1) architecture—is driving me, and many other paying customers, away from the platform.
The primary issues ruining the experience include:
The Best-of-One Hand-Smoothing Algorithm: The opening hand algorithm frequently creates highly artificial, repetitive clumping. Rather than fostering fair games, it heavily rewards mindless, hyper-aggressive autopilot decks (such as Mono-Red and Auras). It consistently rewards linear "nuts draws" over critical thinking and interactive play.
Severe Play-Design Disadvantages: Going second in the current fast-paced Standard Bo1 meta feels like an automatic loss. When combined with unnatural land flooding or drought post-opening hand, the high-variance streaks feel distinctly manipulative rather than genuinely random.
Ranked MMR & Matchmaking Cycles: The hidden Matchmaking Rating (MMR) system creates artificial pockets—particularly around the Platinum and Diamond ranks following a ladder reset. The system pushes players into exhausting, forced 50% win-rate loops. This forces players into highly repetitive mirror matches or structural counter-matchups rather than organic ladder progression based strictly on tier.
MTG Arena is an awesome game with incredible potential, but it is currently far too expensive to support when the daily play experience feels consistently punishing, non-interactive, and exhausting. I am routinely finding myself conceding matches out of sheer frustration with the software's variance parameters rather than enjoying a game of skill.
Many players in the community share these exact frustrations. I am asking the development team to critically re-evaluate how the Bo1 hand smoother operates, how ranked matchmaking handles MMR pairing, and how to better incentivize strategic, interactive play over high-speed coin-flip grinding. If these systemic issues are not addressed, I can no longer justify continuing to spend money on this platform.
Thank you for your time, and I hope to see these structural issues addressed in future patch cycles.
Sincerely,Jonny / SinkHoleEnjoyer95

Dradt Auto-Pick Issue, Auto Pick fails and crashes the client
Draft Auto Pick on Mac Client fails and kicks me out to "Waiting for Server." I was drafting in Premier Hobbit Draft and I let the draft timer run down with my card selected. I received an error message that read something like "Could not pick selected Card" and was kicked to the "Waiting for Server" loading screen which did not resolve. I restarted the app and noticed the auto pick had added a card I had not previously selected. Because of the limited time I once again let the timer run down. I received the same error message and once again had to restart the client. By manually selecting each card I avoided this issue for the rest of the draft. But I lost two picks including Pack 2 Pick 1.

Glasspool mimic not being transformable
With the rules change from spiderman modal double faced cards should be able to transform, but when I copy something with glasspool mimic and then try to transform it it does not work. This interaction works with mirrorhall mimic. When I hover over the mirrorhall mimic copying something after trying to transform it I see the ghastly mimicry enchantment pop up in the "original card" popup, but glasspool mimic only shows the front face.

Kaito Ninjutsu does not respect High Noon
If you play High Noon, the opponent can both ninjutsu Kaito in and play a removal spell in the same turn. It just happened to me two turns in a row.

possible cheating?
Opponent somehow exiled one of my cards without playing anything new (nothing new on the battlefield, in his graveyard, or in his exile) and then forced one of my timeouts almost immediately after (within 10-20 secs). Captured bug log, then game became unplayable, kill-switched out.

Starter Deck Duel sometimes stuck on "Waiting for Server".
Bug reproduction steps:
1. Click on my submitted deck's portrait in the "Starter Deck Duel" screen.
2. Change decks and click "Submit Deck".
3. Click "Play".
4. Game hangs indefinitely on "Waiting for Server" (I've waited up to 5 minutes and it's still stuck, while it normally takes only a few seconds to start a match).Platform: This is on a Lenovo Windows 11 PC laptop (IdeaPad, 1.2 GHz processor, 8GB RAM, 90 of 238 GB free) connecting directly to Arena (no Steam).
Workaround: Step 4 ALWAYS happens if I go immediately from step 2 to step 3; but it NEVER happens, and the match instead proceeds fine, if I go back to the Arena main menu and then back to "Starter Deck Duel" between steps 2 and 3.

PLEASE put companion (pet) sound effects on a different channel from normal SFX
Could "game rules" sounds be on a separate channel from normal sound effects?
I want to mute everything that isn't relevant to the execution of a match, so that when i minimize the window the only sounds i hear from the game are sounds that tell me something is happening that i might need to respond to.
Like, just sound effects for game actions, shuffling, the rope, priority, etc. I want to mute everything else, no "ear candy".
