How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. morbid opportunist trigger self

    morbid opportunist says "other" but triggered when it died. The card text needs to be revised or this bug fixed.

  2. Autotapper misses the interaction between Roxanne, Starfall Savant and Roaming Throne

    When I control both Roxanne, Starfall Savant and a Roaming Throne (naming Druid), my token artifacts each tap for 2 extra mana. So, for example Roxanne's Meteorite tokens tap for 3 total mana. The game engine correctly resolves this, but the autotapper doesn't take this interaction into account, so it will tap 3 Meteorites to cast an MV-6 spell and leave 3 mana floating in my pool, when it could successfully cast the spell with only 2 Meteorites.

    The autotapper should take into account copied triggers in deciding how many mana sources to tap.

  3. Don't auto-tap creatures for mana in precombat main phase when other mana sources are available

    I had Scene of The Crime on the battlefield as well as a pain land. Instead of asking me what to tap or tapping the pain land, it tapped my one and only flying creature to pay for a spell. One damage averted just to get 5 flying damage for no good reason.

    Auto-tap is broken. It has cost me several games today. The game options make it either ask every time (annoying and prone to warning-fatigue) or not ask and just mis-tap things all over the place. Please ask for confirmation (like the old auto-tap solution has changed message)…

  4. Bug

    While playing MTG Arena on my PC
    Game Aiwu (me) v. Tonis
    I had a planes walker card Ajani Strength of the Pride and creature card Shalai, Voice of Plenty on the battle field. Shalai Voice of Plenty gave my planes walker card hex proof yet the Tonis was still able to cast Planar Disruption enchantment onto Ajani Strength of the Pride. This should not have been possible and cost me the game.

  5. Block Players

    It can be hard to keep on top of bugs, exploits, OP'd cards & 'cheat' metas, and toxic player behavior. I'd really love at least the option to block a player and never be paired again with someone spamming 'your go' at me, metagaming with some endless loop instant-win combo, Scute Swarm, or Second Sun, or purposely trying to annoy the opponent into quitting by taking a full timer every single turn. Please give us a block option along with a friendlist that prefers friends in random matches.

  6. Poison counters are too OP.

    These make shortened matches that are too OP and often end up not very fun to play, especially when some card drops several counters on you. It would probably be a lot more balanced and fun if poison counters simply did one direct damage and disappeared on the next turn.

  7. 'Hexproof/Indestructible all' effects need limits.

    Yet another annoying OP spam strategy I see a lot. Hexproof or Indestructible all permanent effects can easily be doubled and make an unwinnable, uninteresting match. These effects should be limited to a certain number of turns or allowed only one card at a time so that the enchantment can be destroyed.

  8. Ban Approach of the Second Sun

    This card is way to easy to use as a pay-to-win, no-thought, boring spam strategy and ruins the fun of the game. Quite tired of seeing it.

  9. Planeswalker limits

    I've seen way too many people spam planeswalkers to almost instant-win games. It's unbalanced, unfair, and makes pay-to-win situations. Planeswalkers should be limited 4 per deck and only 2 in play at any time. These are the homebrew rules I will play personal MtG games by.

  10. Lotus Field & Krenko's Buzzcrusher

    Lotus Field does not remain Hexproof with Krenko's ETB. Even with Strict Proctor out, my opponent blew up multiple LFs. Opponent should be sanctioned because after noticing the bug and emoting, they intentionally continued to blow up my LFs. They even started double copying Krenkos and blowing up multiple lands per trigger despite Hexproof.

  13. Tishana's Tidebinder seems to remove abilities from Wedding Announcement after countering one of the triggers

    • Have your opponent play a Wedding Announcement
    • On their end step, use Tidebinder to counter the triggered ability (first or second invitation counter, in my case I countered the second)
    • On the following end steps of the opponent, notice that while the Tidebinder is in play, the Wedding Announcement's triggered ability doesn't happen anymore. This shouldn't be the case, as the card type Enchantment is excluded from the types that Tidebinder would otherwise affect (it should remove abilities only from artifacts, creatures and planeswalkers as per its rules text).

    In the attached screenshot, the Tidebinder on the battlefield was used…

  14. アリーナが頻繁にフリーズする

    MTGアリーナの構築中、対戦中に通信待機状態に頻繁になるようになりました。
    一度アンインストールしてログインし直しても改善しませんでした。

    今までたまに起きるくらいで改善してきたので何が原因かが分かりません。
    下記コマンドも試しましたが改善しませんでした。
    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /registerdns
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    netsh winsock reset

    よろしくお願いします。

  15. cavern of souls does not work against 3 steps ahead counter

    while playing standard game i played a cavern of souls for angels, when i played a angel spell opponent was able to counter it with 3 steps ahead.

  16. Monthly ban for time thieves

    When will you add an option to ban selected players?? Those time thieves are the worst thing that could have happened to Magic. Let us ban those players for a month (or until manually removed from ban list) - this should allow normal players to enjoy the game while at the same time should lengthen the queueing time for the ropers, meaning more play for people who really play Magic and less for the ones breaking the game.

  17. Doppelgang related bug

    HEAD NOTES:
    I was playing in the IOS Mobile application so I could not get the detailed logfile. Am I wrong there? I can not find a way to activate it as I can do in the desktop version. I captured the logfile before exiting the game but the "Issue reports" folder stayied empty and the "Logs" folder does not contain usefull informations, for what I can understand.
    Moreover this happened some weeks ago and I only have few screenshots avaiable and because of that I do not have anymore clear the game sequence of events and I could not…

  18. Creature type Wraith no longer has the "Nazgul" screech sound when entering the battlefield

    Before the newest update, whenever the creature type Wraith would enter the battlefield, as the creature would enter the battlefield, it would play the iconic Nazgul screech sound. But after this update it seems like it was either removed completely or it is bugged and no longer plays it. It's such a cool sound whenever I play my Nazgul deck! Hopefully its just a bug, and not a licensing deal.

  20. mystical tether fizzle after crime commission in response to cast

    During alchemy OTJ draft, I played a flashed Mystical Tether to remove an oppnent's attacker. The opponent has a Marauding Sphinx, and they played a spell to commit a crime in response. The Sphinx's crime effect resolves and my Mystical Tether fizzles for some reason. I had mana to pay Sphinx's ward, but they also have other permanents to target, if that was the case...
    I lost the match (and the draft) for this.
    I am playing on PC.
