How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Unresponsive sideboarding

    OS: Android
    First Encountered when Bloomburrow released.

    Has happened to me three times today.

    When sideboarding prior to a third match (i.e. the second time sideboarding in a best of three match). All cards in the sideboard area are unresponsive when clicked, and therefore cannot be added to my deck directly. The only way to affect the cards in my deck is to adjust the quantity by interacting with the ui in the area where my deck is shown, which is responsive.

  2. Claim button not working

    After a match, where I would claim my prizes, the claim page shows no prize, and pushing the button does nothing. I am still able to open the friends list and rotate the screen, so the app is not frozen, i just can’t proceed by pushing the claim button. The only way to proceed is to close and restart the app. I am on an iPhone SE 2.

  3. full screen problem

    I have a 31:9 screen (PC on windows 10)
    I've clicked on the "full sceen" option in the settings several times but it goes back to window screen everytime I try to play the game.

    Every time the game switches "modes" (e.g. goes from loading screen to battle or from battle to defeat/win screen the game goes from full screen to windowed mode.

  5. BUG: Mac Client only works in Full Screen mode after KTK update

    If you launch the Mac client in windowed mode (i.e., not in Full Screen mode), you cannot click on anything. Nor can you easily quit the game! (You have to force quit it, e.g., via the Activity Monitor app.)

    The solution is to delete your preferences so that the MTGA client will open in Full Screen mode by default.

    To delete your preferences, open a terminal -- the Terminal app will suffice -- and execute the following commands.

    $ cd ~/Library/Preferences
    $ rm com.wizards.mtga.plist

    You'll have to log back in and reset your client preferences to taste. Just don't uncheck…

  6. cant scroll drafted cards

    Issues in draft on mobile since bloomburrow update:

    Can’t scroll up through selected cards during draft

    Can’t move cards to sodeboard

  7. MTGA.exe is not responding

    The game opens normally, but when I hover over the daily missions or enter the deck builder, the game crashes and the message appears:

    MTGA.exe is not responding

    I tried deleting the game and reinstalling it in several ways, but I didn't get any results.
    I've also updated my drivers and tried the solutions mentioned in the known issues.

  8. Cards with "Flash" are erroneously showing "Flashback" description text.

    Repro steps: While in a game, hover over any card with "Flash".

    Platform: Mac

    Actual results: "Flashback" description is appearing when that is not an ability of the highlighted card.

    Expected results: "Flashback" should not appear for cards that do not have that ability.

  11. Download update not working, game keeps disconnecting

    My mobile device is not updating the game. When I click download update the game logs me out and goes to my desktop every time I try to update it. Can someone please help!

    After updating my client through the play store, whenever I launch the game, I go to a screen where it asks me to download a 3 GB update and when I click download, the game crashes

  16. Download bug

    Found a bug where downloading the latest update for mtg arena will cause a kick before it finishes the download, making the game completely inaccessible.

  17. Plainswalkers breaking interface on android

    Plainswalkers do not load properly causing them to stay large and then all new lands, opponent permanently and effects overlay over one another causing me not to see things. Lands remain tapped and effects cannot be seen. Reloading the game does not fully fix it.

  19. Planeswalkers Visual Bug

    After the 1/21/25 update on iOS, I’ve had repeated issues with planeswalkers on the field. Every time I cast Tibalt, Wicked Tormentor, the portrait of the card gets stuck on the screen and blocks whatever card is on the stack. In the included screenshot you can see a card resolving behind it. This also means that to activate the loyalty abilities, I have to tap on the stuck portrait, and the lands additionally all get stuck in place whether they are actually tapped or not. In my second screenshot, Grist has transformed into its planeswalker state but for some reason…
