150+ triggers Opponent Takes 5+ minutes to resolve and turn timer doesn't appear
Opponent playing a deck that involves using Raise the Past to achieve over 150+ ETB triggers, most of which they must manually resolve, resulting in a 5+ minute turn in which the timer never appears. In a real event, this player would be DQ'd for purposefully slow play. Please do something about this deck.

Game crashes when starting a match randomly
Since the most recent update, when I try to enter a match, it will randomly crash once an opponent is found on the loading screen and when I completely close the app, if I’m still in the same match the crash happened on, it will crash continually until the match has timed out. I’m usually watching a video in the background and it messes with the audio creating a buzzing noise when it crashes and closes the app.
I am on iOS 18 for iPad and iphone and this happens frequently though not in all matches.4 votes -
Ward 2/game kicked
I notice I'm not the only one to have the ward issue. Thing is I was in a match in which gems were on the line. I lost because even after paying the ward cost he stayed protected. I have also lost several games alchemy event games in which I pay gems because I was booted from the sever. I spent a lot of money to enjoy the game and want to know if I will be refunded my lost gems

Standard Metagame challenge Event kicked me off after 1 game, isn't it BO3?
I just started the Standard Metagame Challenge and got my loss after only game one! It did't even let me go to sideboarding for game 2!

Disconnected from the game
During a quick draft - omniscience game, the game froze. Once I restarted MTGA, I got the message posted below. Upon selecting "Reconnect", the game froze. I tried resetting the client a few times afterwards, with the same effect. Only after about 15 minutes I was able to connect to the game, but I was awarded a loss.
I want a refund for the event.1 vote -

Traditional constructed event - Game remaining counter wrong
Platform: Windows, Steam
During a traditional constructed event, when you press cancel during the loading screen while there is the "Entering match..." dialogue, it seems the game will count that as a loss and remove a game from the event (x game remaining counter).
In my case, I played one match, then, for the second match, pressed the cancel button before joining it because I changed my mind.
Later in the day, I played one more match and after that match, the game was showing "2 games remaining" in the event tab. Though my game tracker only shows two matches played in that event.
I excepted it to show "3 games remaining" instead.Platform: Windows, Steam

Once again, shuffler is awful
Once again, shuffler is awful. Played 2 games. Had 8 lands in 10 cards. And 9 lands in 13 cards. I think I'm done playing this game.

Specific set casual play
Specific Set Casual Play
Idea Description:
MTG Arena should introduce a set-based casual matchmaking mode to allow players to test decks built primarily from a single set, such as Aetherdrift, without facing fully optimized meta decks.Problem:
The current matchmaking system in Play Mode still uses hidden MMR, causing high-volume players to face competitive opponents even when testing fun or experimental decks.
Players often feel forced to intentionally lose matches to lower MMR for a more balanced casual experience, which is not fun or engaging.
Solution:
Implement a matchmaking filter where players can only queue if their deck contains at least 80% cards from a specific set (e.g., Aetherdrift).
This would create a level playing field where players experimenting with new set mechanics are matched against others doing the same.
The queue could be temporary (e.g., for the first 1–2 months after a set's release) or permanent as an alternative play mode.
Why This Would Improve Arena:
Encourages deck brewing without punishing players with high-MMR matchmaking.
Allows players to enjoy themed battles based on set mechanics, making new releases feel more immersive.
Provides a true casual play mode where players aren’t forced to optimize their decks just to compete.
This would enhance the fun factor for casual and dedicated players alike while fostering creative deck-building in a lower-stakes environment.Specific Set Casual Play

Raise maximum deck size
Can we raise the maximum deck size in MTG Arena?
I totally understand there are technical concerns, but I’d love the option to play decks larger than 250 cards. I know it’s not optimal for competitive play, and some players might not like it — but I really enjoy building huge, weird decks, and the current cap can feel a bit arbitrary.
I’m aware of the old shuffling guideline ("a player must be able to shuffle their deck themselves in a reasonable amount of time"), but we’re using digital tools now.
It wouldn’t affect competitive play, since those decks would still stay optimized around 60 cards.

damage was incorrectly assigned
During a premier draft I had a High Fae Trickster on the battlefield and had 7 Life. My opponent had a 9/12 trampler. I flashed in a 5/5 creature and blocked. Should have resulted in me taking 4 damage, but instead I took 8 damage and lost the game. This has to be a bug, right?

Connection lost
September 10th 5:45pm est. The website says servers are up. However the app cannot e establish a connection or finish booting. My app is fully updated, I’ve restarted the app, restarted the device, confirmed my network connection. There is either a bug with arena or the servers are actually down contrary to the server status page.
