Shifting Woodland - Planeswalker Interaction Needs Warning
I tried to use Shifting Woodland’s ability to turn into a planeswalker. Having never played with the card before, I thought intuitively that I could do this. I was dismayed to learn after the game that doing so would have the shifting woodlands transform into a planeswalker with 0 loyalty counters, sacrificing it as a state based action.
The way this appears for the user is as a bug, without any animation or explanation. You select a planeswalker in your graveyard and then the land is just immeadiately sacrificed and the game moves on.
There really should be one of those “Do you really want to do that” prompts when you select a planeswalker using this land’s ability. Otherwise, there should be some way for the user to see what happened to the planeswalker/land - ie, that you messed up. More feedback for the user would make this interaction more enjoyable, and allow for players unfamiliar with this interaction make better decisions.

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and removal of devotion
When playing with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx (currently in Mono Green Devotion), There are times on my turn (during main phase) where I've just cast a spell (with Nykthos still untapped and other land to active it) and in response my opponent will cast a removal spell that removes an object that was giving me devotion for Nykthos. However, as I had no instants/flash cards in hand, or no abilities I could activate (with the exception of Nykthos, play instantly passes through to my object being destroyed and the devotion gone. If this was being played in paper before the object is destroyed I could activate Nykthos and float the mana for a later spell.
I understand that I could run the game entirely in Full Control, but that slows down the game immensely, and even though I sometimes manage to hit the Control button as I notice my opponent casting a removal spell it does not seem to be fast enough before my opponents spell resolves and I lose my devotion.
This has caused me to lose games and matches that I may not have otherwise if the game was being played in paper. When playing with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx (currently in Mono Green Devotion), There are times on my turn (during main phase) where I've just cast a spell (with Nykthos still untapped and other land to active it) and in response my opponent will cast a removal spell that removes an object that was giving me devotion for Nykthos. extremely slow
I run MTGA by my HP PC. As I get into the main user interface everything is OK. But when I click "play" “decks” button or try to do anything else that come into other interface, the entire application go into an extremely slow situation. The phrase "wait for the services" appear on the screen and last for minutes and than the program lost its response. I try to restart the computer but it doesn't work. All these happened just after an update in Jan 7th. I am in China and I have to use accelerator to link the services. Please help me, thank you!

Grist Hunger Tide/Vivien Champion of the Wilds
Exiled Grist, the Hunger Tide with Vivien, Champion of the Wilds' -2 ability. Was unable to cast Grist, no permanents or cards in graveyards indicated an interaction like "can't cast from other than hands" effects. Pretty sure it was a bug that treated Grist as a noncreature despite its static ability making him a creature as long as he's not on the battlefield. Wish I had screenshots to add.

Why not a Pioneer Brawl format?
Why can't we have a nonrotating Brawl format, that is free of Alchemy? Why must a fun game of Brawl be ruined by some absolutely broken Alchemy cards? The Brawl format gets polluted more and more with those unfun cards. Alchemy is NOT fun. Even WINNING with Alchemy cards is not fun. You prove that to me Every Single Time an Into the Future Midweek Magic event comes about. From its inception on, win or lose, not a single game of Alchemy was fun.
I'm not asking to remove Alchemy from Brawl, but rather I'm asking for a different eternal Brawl format. I would happily take the less expansive card pool of Pioneer, with non-rebalanced versions of cards, for example. I know, from this very platform here, that I'm not alone with my grief over Alchemy cards. Why do you insist on forcing Alchemy on your Brawl players? People who engage in Alchemy already dump their money into it. Those that don't care about Alchemy won't spend any money on it, no matter how hard you push. Until they leave your game completely, not buying anything.

Second Day of Sideboard issues
As of today, 07/11/2025 this is the second day in a row that MTGA will not let me put more than 7 cards in my sideboard. This is across different new decks, and after multiple game and PC restarts, as well as game updates. I will post screen shots, but I am unable to compete in best of 3 without a proper sideboard and the opportunity cost this is having on me is immense. I am attending SCG orlando in 7 weeks and I cannot properly test. The error message "This deck cannot have more than 15 cards in sideboard" is occuring any time I add more than 7 cards in the sideboard.

Screaming Nemisis - Not working.
Yet another instance of Screaming Nemesis not preventing an opponent from gaining life. Nemesis was played turn 3, dealt damage to opponent. Opponent combos on their turn and leads to gaining 12 life. Opponent continues to gain over 20 more life over the rest of the game. For a card that's text is supposed to prevent this, I'd say this is unacceptable. This card has one job, please fix it.

Randomly kicked back to last menu
Happens often that I will be playing a match and the game will either kick me back to the Main Menu or whatever the last game mode launch menu was.
The only way to get back into the match is to kill arena with Task Manager and relaunch the game.
And this will sometimes happen multiple times per match. This has happened in just about every game mode and has been an issue for months. It is very frustrating in general but especially when it happens during a ranked match.2 votes -

Server Error
Hello team,
During a Thunder Junction draft on Magic Arena, which I was playing on my PC for practice, I encountered a server error. It didn’t affect the match outcome, but it did cause a brief delay. I just wanted to report the issue for your awareness.Best regards,

Screaming nemesis
Please ban Screaming nemesis! At least nerf the card. It happened to me 3 games in a row! They just shock screaming nemesis and shut down my deck. It sucks because the games were balanced until they cheese out the win. I invested heavily into my deck. This does not want me to get more cards it makes me want to uninstall. It is just as bad as Vivi and Omniscience. At least make it to where you're opponent has to deal damage not your own spells. This card is rediculous!

Lost a game because I did to much damage
I did over 800 or something damage to my opponent. The game did not end and my opponent became unkillable with over -1000 damage done to him. He then removed my massive creature and hit me for 22 damage and won even though he should be dead.

Brawl is completely unbalanced
Brawl, or historic brawl, has become a completely broken format, unbalanced, unfair and straight out unplayable. Let me elaborate. Brawl has seen in recent years the inclusion of many cards to the format. Some very positive additions include fetch lands and the MH2 elementals just to name a few. I personally was really happy to see these cards added to Arena. On the other hand, there have been some very questionable additions like Chrome Mox and the pool of alchemy cards. At the same time, for completely unintelligible reasons, Wizards decided to extend the nerfs from Historic to Brawl. So cards like Guide of Souls, Ocelot Pride, DRC, Unholy heat, Teferi time raveler, etc. are nerfed in the format. The end result is a format where your opponent can have a turn 1 Chrome Mox, into dark ritual into Rusko Clockmaker, but you have to play with a nerfed guide of souls and cannot cast on turn 1 ocelot pride. To me, after many years of playing Brawl on Arena, this situation has made the format straight unplayable. Especially considering that most of the free counter spells are not yet added (or will they ever be?) to the format, i.e. FoN, FoW, Daze, and even force spike! (Which for also completely unintelligible reasons it is added as a draftable spell from a spell book but not as a standalone card).
I understand that Brawl is the format where players want to test 4-player commander cards, but in actuality, the format is most similar to duel commander, also called French Commander, or 1v1 commander. For obvious reasons, in duel commander, most of the cards that cause trouble in Brawl are banned, i.e. Chrome Mox, Ajani (as a commander), Ragavan, Mana Drain, Temporal Trespass, Treasure Cruise, Dig through time, just to name a few. You can find the complete ban list in here:
https://www.mtgdc.info/banned-restricted
I play competitive duel commander, and I find this ban list equilibrates the format extremely well. Alchemy cards also contribute greatly to break the format. The now infamous Mythweaver Poq, Rusko, Oracle of the Alpha and their absurd alchemy-specific mechanics like seek, conjure and "perpetual", stablish a clear breach of power level for those of us who prefer not to play with Alchemy cards. I have already explained the Alchemy problem in Brawl in another feedback entry, you may find it here:
I feel many players share my opinion. I have a few suggestions for improving the format, that I hope could be implemented for a better play experience:
1 - Ideally, segregate Alchemy from Brawl. You can still have an Alchemy Brawl format for those who wish to play with this card pool.
2 - Remove historic nerfs in Brawl. If cards like Teferi, time Raveler are a problem in the command zone, just ban it as a commander only (or even better, do not allow planeswalkers in the command zone, which is the root cause of the problem, and a terrible idea overall).
3 - Get more in line with the Duel Commander ban list. There is also no reason to ban cards such as Drannith Magistrate or Medling Mage. I get it, people want to cast their commanders, but these are cards that are part of a game of Commander, and you do not need to infantilize your Arena players.
4 - We are still missing an incredibly large card pool in Brawl, even from very recent sets. Some examples include Pyrogoyf, Broadside Bombardiers, etc, etc. While I understand that including all new cards is a big effort, you are at the same time producing new Alchemy cards 95% of your community hates. Why not devoting that effort to actually include cards you release in paper sets?Somehow, I doubt Wizards will listen. But if you made it up to here, thank you for reading :) and I hope you give a thumbs up to this post! Cheers!

Game error. Coins
I paid 4,000 coins to play a draft at approximately 5 PM Argentine time, and I couldn't play. When I logged into the game, it told me there was a "connection error." After 2 hours, I logged back in, and there was no more "Cube" draft, and I lost my 4,000 coins. Please, I need my coins back from the draft I didn't play. Thank you.

Cube Draft Event Did Not Start
I paid for a Cube Draft event in MTG Arena, but the event never started. The draft table took several attempts to launch but failed to gather enough players. After multiple retries, the event simply disappeared from my account, and I never received a refund for my entry fee.
