1. Fix the shuffler

   The deck shuffler still needs work. It isn't random. The odds of this deal are astronomical. This is not a rare occurrence and it causes many Resignation games very early. It's frustrating and should be a simple fix. Just use random, then run it through a "does this make sense filter. "

2. Shuffler Bug

   IDK what's wrong with your shuffler, but in this one game the opening hand has the ONLY two Portal to Phyrexia in the Deck. I am constantly drawing them either both in my opening hand (as shown here) or somewhere within the first 10-15 cards back-to-back every time. The amount of times it happens is a complete statistical abhorrence

   So, I mulled down and boy does your shuffler like to mainly double up on the same cards and not provide any sort of actual curve.

   Please fix, it's getting out of hand.

3. shuffler

   The shuffler is horrible. I have played paper for 25+ years and never had the issues I get with Arena. I have a deck with 12 pseudo dual lands and 4 of each of 2 different basic lands. I often draw 2 of the same basic land followed by a mulligan giving me 2 of the other basic land. no other lands on either account. Sometimes I will draw 3 of the same basic lands with no others. Similar things happen with spells. I will have 2 of a specific spell in the deck and draw both. After a mulligan, I may draw another 2 of the same spell, or 2 of a different spell of which I olnly have 2. In addition, it is very commonplace for me to draw mainly land when I need a spell, or only draw spells if I need a land. I have mulliganned down to one land with having the spells I need in my hand only to not draw a land on my next 5 turns (with land being at minimum 33% of the deck). My draws rarely match half the odds of when I should draw a card needed.
   Secondary comment: my opponents tend to always have the exact card at all times to either slow down or stop my deck. Seems to be more prevalent with those who regularly spend actual money on the game.
   Third comment: paying players seem to go first way more often than others. If this is in doubt, there are plenty of youtube videos that claim the same as well as delve further into my previous comments as well as other comments
   on this site.

4. Broken shuffler

   The shuffler is not shuffling randomly. Several games in a row I’m drawing all of the same card. Maybe ask a poker game developer for help with programming on this if it’s beyond your skill set.

5. Once again, shuffler is awful

   Once again, shuffler is awful. Played 2 games. Had 8 lands in 10 cards. And 9 lands in 13 cards. I think I'm done playing this game.

6. Fix the shuffler

   I'm tired of seeing garbage hands and draws every game while my opponents always draw perfectly. If the shuffler was fair my opponents should have to mulligan down to 5 most of the time.

7. Fix the shuffler number 11

   Fix the shuffler, got ****** into diamond 2 games back to back. then appropriate ratios once and now this *.
   playing 18 lands 21 creatures 21 spells. started 3 lands 3 spells and 1 creature. so very high odds i draw creature. by turn 5 ive seen 6 lands 5 spells and still 1 creature. Odds are impossible. quit **** us with the shuffler, we came to play magic, not bend over, this is why mtg is dying.

   what the **** is wrong with you twits, I have managed to bring in a few friends to the game and because of you " genius " hand smoothing idea they keep quitting. You say its only until they move on to best of 3 but when they don't make past the first few games because the draws are all mana or no mana how does that work? Another good reason to get rid of the stupid shuffler is hand smoothing could be argued that the clause in your ToS should be null and voided because you have changed the scope of the game to the point that it's no longer the same game that it was agreed to. You put in an exploit to push mono aggro decks and are pushing the game to be done by turn 5 , this is not MTG , MTG was built upon epic level game play and you are removing that aspect. Why change what made the game what it is? why do you want to alienate the players that have been with you since the beginning. Remember most of us were the nerds that grew up to the higher paying jobs and have the disposable income , not the whiny crowd that are coming because of the exploit , they will cut and run as soon as you balance things out and are not likely to spend much.

   I have a super crazy idea. How about instead of favoriting brain dead retards who spend money on the free to play game, we make the shuffler actually random? I pray to god the devs for this game get hit by a car and get brain damage to the point they can only play mono red for the rest of their lives. ******** scum of the earth devs. Look at my last 3 games and tell me there was ANYTHING I could do against this scheduled loss.....

10. shuffler

    I'm not one to complain. I enjoy the game. But the Shuffler IS broken. its extremely obvious. I have a deck that is 60 cards total. 24 of which are basic lands. for TEN CONSECUTIVE draw steps, I drew land. my opening hand had 4 lands in it and 3 "other" cards. I had the 3 "other" cards the ENTIRE game. As I watch each and every draw step give me a land. my opponent on the other hand, drew everything and anything he needed. had plenty of land and plenty of other spells. What was HIS deck size you may ask?? 250!!!!! and he drew the perfect cards for his win con. I have a standard 60 card deck with 24 lands I somehow drew 14 lands the entire game CONSECUTIVLY. . . . . . . Do the math on that probability because its WILD! matter of fact I'll tell you the math (I used Gemini) here are the results.

    0.0000112% chance to draw 10 consecutive land cards. I understand that with a shuffler that is truly random even that small of a probability is still possible. But its fishy that it ONLY HAPPENS when I'm on a 4-5 game win streak. WITH THE SAME DECK. its like I get a target put on my back for winning matches. then the game decides its time for me to get steamrolled by the most basic non synergy deck known to man. legit killed by 3 1/1s from 20 down to 0. Its insane to me. And the fact that I see all these other posts regarding the same thing and has been a thing for years and years. It leads me to think that WOTC is doing 1 of 3 things.

    1.)FORCING WIN RATES for people who are "down on their luck" instead of prompting them with something telling them to consider fixing their broken unorganized decks.

    2.)NERFING PEOPLE ON HOT STREAKS if I win 4-5 games back to back, this is when the trouble starts. or if the previous time I played I won 4-5 matches before getting off. like I said above, it's like the game puts a target on my account prompting it to ***** me over any way it can.

    3.)TRYING TO CATER TO WEAK PLAYERS if I get into a lobby *which is VERY common) where their deck size is 250 cards. AND they get the perfect win conditions every time. that tells me that they probably lost the last 10 matches and the game is trying to keep them interested in the ARENA game so they throw them a bone here and there. which is honestly way way worse then anything above. If you have a bad deck, the game should be trying to teach them a very important aspect of Magic....DECK....BUILDING. prompt them with something, anything that makes them think that maybe, Juuuuust maybe, their decks are smellier then a gas station bathroom in the projects.

    All in all, like I said at the top. This is a fun game. I enjoy experimenting with different out of the comfort zone deck builds. But I cannot do that, if the game is turned against me. I just cant. I've taken months long breaks for just this reason and honestly I'm very close to doing that again. I don't want to, Im not threating my loyalty to the game or anything. I'm just tired of being steamrolled by people with inferior decks souly because I won the last 4-5 games. It's a turn off for sure.

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE either give an update as to why its this way, Or fix the shuffler. You're killing magic for so many loyal gamers.

    The complaints about the shuffler will go nowhere. They do not care about gameplay. In BETA the shuffler was a constant issue in the forum ( before WOTC closed them because they do not care). The official response of WOTC was " Since both players are exposed to the same shuffler, they have the same experience, therefore, nothing is wrong" The DO NOT CARE about gameplay, game experience, game economy or game mechanics. The DO CARE about MONEY!!!!. Thats all there is to it - they will keep draining the pockets of the idiots that spend real money on worthless pixel products.

12. Fix the shuffler in draft

    It's broken because my opponents rarely seem to draw poorly while I'm stuck drawing poorly every game. Make the shuffler fair by making my opponents draw as poorly as I do.

    Fix the shuffler. And not in the way you rig it. ******** that we have to wait for the coin flip to play out to see who will win. Your game is garbage and so are your employees. Cheating piece of ****. Just tell us at the get if we will win or lose so we can skip to the next game when the stupid shuffler decided to actually give us a chance. Worthless dogshit game. Hearthstone and Master Duel are better than this steaming pile of feces.

    What is up with the shuffler, i drop my land count to 15 or 14 in draft now cause of how bad it is- seriously, if you see a hand with 3/4 lands and keep i guarantee you will want to play hyper conservative cause your first 4-6 draws will be lands only-- i feel like im going nuts, i know i am

15. quick shuffler question

    I am wondering how a deck that is 72 cards running 43 land cards can get mana screwed for 2 games back to back after 3 consecutive wins? You claim the shuffler is fair and balanced and that you don't " fix " win rates, so I am confused. crunching the numbers the odds of getting mana screwed at all are astronomical but getting screwed 2 games in a row back to back on a regular basis should be impossible, and the other thing is why is it that these games I get mana screwed I have to mulligan 3-4 times because I get basically the same hand for the first 2?

16. shuffler nonsense

    I'm so tired of losing by shuffler in paid events.I just lost 2 games in a row, beautiful hand 3 land and go both games without drawing land, 8-9 rounds .This doesnt happen in table top. Only when u dont shuffle and just sweep and play.put in parameters where there is no mana clumps and u are garanteed to draw a land in first few rounds. Do something. I lose games way to much for shuffler. If i didnt have to pay to play I couldn't really say anything but when I pay to play and the game outright makes u lose it is ridiculous.I have complained before and am complaining again. I cant tell you how many times I get starved for mana first 6-7 rounds and then draw all lands for the rest of the game when you manage to finaly play out your hand. Freaquntly you end up mana flooded or hosed.play with land numbers and it doesnt really matter. I use 16-17 mana depending on curve. This is way higher than i use in tabletop, i use 15 in table top and dont have any probs. You are constantly getting one in a million hands where u say to yourself, what the heck is up with this @#$%?. I have played easily played over 10k tabletop games and never have i experienced the messedd up pull like on arena. I started playing and collecting in revised.

    Diamond 1, playing a deck with 18 lands, 21 creatures, 21 non creatures. turn 5 ive seen 6 lands, 4 creatures, 4 noncreatures. Fix the shuffler, players are tired of playing bend over and get ******, we want to play actual mtg.

18. Shuffler is sticky

    I have been playing this game for quite some time now, and recenly there is always one thing that destroys my enjoymet of ths igame.

    YOUR SHUFFLER IS TOO STICKY.

    I can understand that a perfect distribution is not possible, but if 100% of the games you keep drawing 3 of the 4 cards, and that for multiple type of cards, one can only conclude that your shuffler is incredbly lazy.

    My last game, I drew 18 cards, there were 4 type cards that each appeared 3 times, exactly so out of 18 cards I drew 12 identical cards, and this is happening over and over again.

    I tend to play a lot of graveyard recursion or draw effects to maximize drawing the cards to force a win, so I see a lot of the cards every game, and so many times over and over again, I jeep drawing the same cards, and not the cards that I am digging for.

    Lets say I put 6 cards in a 60 card deck, and I draw/mill 20 cards out of those 60? How my do you think of those 6 rds would be in my available pile? At least one right, even the shttiest distribution apart from manually stacking the cards would achieve that results MOST of the games. What often happens is that I DO NOT DRAW/MILL ANY OF THOSE 6 cards.

    I know it CAN happen, but not at this frequency, lets say 1/3 of the games those 6 cards are still stuck in the top 40, but ithappens so much more frequent then that .

    PLEASE CHECK YOUR SHUFFLER processes, something is not doing it right, and all I can call it is the cards are TOO STICKY

The forced 50% win rate is a joke - the shuffler is beyond broken, matchmaking is also just pathetic. The whole game is worse than online slot machines. I cannot believe there are so many people who spend money on this garbage. I guess thats why Trump was elected as well - so many stupid people so little time to fleece them. No one from the company actually reads these anyway, they closed down the actual forum years ago and just ignore anything here. 20. Matchmaking/Shuffler

    Unrig the matchmaking and the shuffler. How is it I can make it to diamond tier 2 with relatively no issues, yet once I get there it’s win/loss/win/loss/win/loss, and often fueled by a terrible starting hand, and terrible mulligans. If I have 2 lands in hand, and all of my few high drops, why when I mulligan am I getting 1 land and high drops? Why are you trying to make people think they need to spend money on the game to do well? Maybe if you made matchmaking and the shuffler fair, we would want to. Yet we have to deal with things like this. And then there’s the people using hack tools to have hand/draw/deck manipulators that you never ban. Why is it my opponents stare at their hand, then nothing for about 30 seconds, and then suddenly have a response? This is absolute predatory garbage from a multibillion dollar company and you should be ashamed.
