How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Take Alchemy out of Historic Brawl

    I use Historic Brawl to playtest REAL cards in a format which is the closest relative to EDH. Separate alchemy from historic brawl! It's hard enough reading a double sided card when you're on a timer let alone a specialize card with 5 different variations. Also Oracle of the Alpha was a mistake, especially in a format with a max deck size.   2. Tokens not activating despite ability to

    User placed permanent in exile and the player is given tokens. 6 turns pass before they could be used. Second time this has happened to me

  3. Primal Command not forcing a shuffle when shuffle mode chosen against opponent with no graveyard

    opponent had an ancient tomb in play. I casted primal command choosing the modes “Put target non-creature permanent on top of it's owner's library.” and “Shuffle target player's graveyard into his or her library.”

    First mode targeted opponent's Ancient Tomb. Second mode targeted opponent, even though opponent had no cards in graveyard. No shuffle animation played, and opponent drew and replayed Ancient Tomb.

    This is not how this card works. If the shuffle mode is chosen and resolves, the opponent HAS to shuffle their deck, even if there are no cards in it. The mode combination chosen…

  4. return to hand

    Game Crashes When Cards are Returned to Hand
    1. Either player uses an effect that returns a card to hand, including unsummon, self-bounce
    2. Android
    3. Whenever either player has a card returned to hand, the app crashes
    4. I would expect cards to be returned to hand and the app not to crash
    5, i cant really screenshot it and i don't have video capture on my phone

  5. Can't manually assign combat damage

    I was playing against a Clavileno. I attacked with a 7/7 (that I really needed to attack with, for trigger reasons) and they blocked with 3 creatures affected by his ability. I wanted to assign all combat damage to one of them, because if they made 3 tokens I would have lost the game. The game REFUSED to let me change the damage assignment, just the order, and when I looked around online in the limited time I had, I couldn't find anything.   6. Unintended Instant-Win? Game Breaker?

    The cards Bloodthirsty Conquer and Marauding Blight-Priest seem to have an unintended synergy. One grants player life gain on opponent life loss and the other grants opponent life loss on player life gain. This creates a loop that will (practically) end the game instantly. Unless you already have an instant and enough mana to resolve this exploit, their respective abilities trigger endlessly until the game ends. It's this a mechanic or an unfortunate combination?

  8. Hog-Monkey Rampage

    [BUG] Hog-Monkey Rampage does not operate how the card states.

    The card stats "Choose target creature you control and target creature an opponent controls. Put a +1/+1 counter on the creature you control if it has power 4 or greater. Then those creatures fight each other."

    Enter combat and the opponent has no viable blocker has both their creatures were tapped. I cast Hog-Monkey Rampage and it resolves. I target my 2/2 Firebender Soldier token and their 3/3 Tapped Zuko. As my creature had a power of 3 it should not have fought their Zuko however it did and ended…

  9. Authority of the consuls

    It is an undercosted card. Fundamentally, if a player can buy a turn every time an opponent brings a creature card out, that card is worth significantly more than 1 mana.

    It should be at least two (if not three) for the benefit it gives to the deck playing it.

  10. Massively parallel triggered abilities and draw game warning

    1. To reproduce: have 3x Ajani's Pridemate, 3x Soul Warden, and trigger Iridescent Hornbeetle to create 100 tokens.

    2. I'm using the PC version on Linux through Lutris

    3. After a few minutes, the game warns me to "Take another action or the game will end in a draw." Since the "actions" I'm taking are all triggered abilites, there is nothing I can do, resulting in a pointless call to "resolve" every time. WIth 200 abilities on the stack, this is a waste of time and turns what might be a long wait into a timeout for both players.

  11. Lightstall Inquisitor problem with Cavern of Souls

    If I play Cavern of Souls and I select the Angel type, If I play Lightstall Inquisitor (Angel Wizard) the opposite player can counter the creature spell.

  14. Historic Brawl Matchmaking

    I love playing Historic Brawl and the matchmaking idea is a good one. However there should be more taken into consideration than just the Commander. In using a "stronger" commander but just doing a mid level value build I get matched up against highly tuned decks that give once sided matches. Please take more into consideration (like average CMC and specific card types like sweepers) so matches can be more back and forth and both players can enjoy the match.

  16. Card interaction bug

    Mid week magic - EOE constructed.

    I was not able to to use rust harvester's ability - tap 2 to exile target artifact from graveyard. On my oreplate pangolin which was in graveyard. Oreplate pangolin is an artifact creature.

  17. The arrow back to the deck doesn't work with draft decks on mobile

    They made it impossible to go back when you checked the details of your deck on mobile. The game only wants me to rename the deck. It's mega frustrating!

  18. Can’t select 0 creatures on triggered ability of The Ozilith

    Note the word “may” in The Ozilith’s text below, which implies that the ability is optional, however I can’t tap “Select 0” when the ability triggers (for example, if I have no creatures on the battlefield at the time):

    “At the beginning of combat on your turn, if The Ozolith has counters on it, you may move all counters from The Ozolith onto target creature.”

    See attached screenshot for this exact situation. However, note that once the timer ran out, it proceeded without moving any counters to my opponent’s creatures, so this is mechanically possible to do.

  19. Tomik, Distinguished Advokist, doesn't stop sundering titan

    Sundering titan is able to target lands in play in spite of Tomik, Distinguished Advokist and destroy them

    recreated in bot match - gave sparky control of sundering titan, unsummoned it back to my hand, and it destroyed my land

  20. Add mutliplayer EDH as a custom game format

    I love playing magic, specifically EDH, but I'm not a fan of constructed formats or 1v1. I understand the issues with having a multi-player format in a ranked or competitive environment, but I don't see a reason why this isn't possible for custom games with friends. Sometimes it's hard to get a pod of your friends together, especially if you live far apart. It would be awesome if there was a way in Arena to play a game of EDH with friends.
