Second combat phase did not trigger, even though the ability showed on the stack.2 votes -
Moraug not functioning properly
Moraug, Fury of Akoum has a landfall ability that is supposed to give an extra combat turn and untap all creatures you control at the start of that extra combat turn.
The extra combat turn DOES occur, but your creatures do not untap. This means that the game skips over the extra combat turns since there are typically no valid attacks possible after the first combat step.8 votes -
Bug with Moraug, fury of akoum
Playing a game of draft and in the last turn of the game i played a land with Moraug on the battlefield and it not trigger the extra combat phase leading to a loss. I have attached a log. Any compensation would be appreciated.

Moraug is bugged as ****
First bug: Moraug didn't untap after the first combat phase
Second bug: He should have had a counter from angel of unity but didn't get one in another game

Moraug, fury of akoum
Moraug had landfall trigger, yet it tried to untap my creatures on the first combat phase and not the second one. Made me take a loss, just was wondering when this bug would be fixed. Standard ranked.

Moraug gives one less combat phase than he is pupposed to.
In two back to back games, Moraugs triggers registered but did not apply after the second to last battle phases (Second combat phase game 1 and first combat phase game 2).
Steps:
Game 1)
5 lands in play, 1 Ice Manalith in play, 1 Moraug, Fury of Akoum in play
Play Cultivate, play land recieved from Cultivate
Trigger for Moraug appears twice on the side.
attack with Moraug, attack increases, Creatures untap
attack with Moraug, attack increases, blocked by Dire Fleet Warmonger
End turn button lights up.Game 2)

Lost a game because i had only one attack phase after a successful moraug trigger

Moraug, Fury of Akoum
Moraug, Fury of Akoum is bugged.
Moraug's card states:Landfall- whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, if its your main phase, there's an additional combat after this phase. At the begging of that combat untap all creatures you control.
The second combat does take place, the bug here is that the creatures do not untap at the beginning of the second combat. This issue has been reported on more than one occasion yet still remains years later. Please please please fix this card.

Moraug skipping first combat phase.
Good day and happy holidays everyone.
So the bug is happening when using the card Moraug, Fury of Akoum.
When we play the land on the first main phase we dont get the extra combat phase it skips the first combat phase and goes directly to the aditional combat phase from Moraugs landfall hability.
When we play the land on the second main phase we do get to play the adittional combat phase.It does create problems this bug when u want to play ur lands on first main phase to be able to cast other spells that…

Moraug Bug
the last sentence of the card’s description says “untap all creatures you control” and it simply doesn’t happen at the beginning of the second combat step.

Moraug - Extra combat doesn't occur
1- Give us the steps to reproduce the bug
Start a battle with Moraug, Fury of Akoum.
When he is in play, play more than a single land (Such as through Evolved Wilds or Roiling Regrowth) in your main phase.
His Landfall ability is triggered - there are now three icons on the left hand side of the screen (One has a x2)
When you start combat, you can attack, and then a new combat occurs and your creatures untap - still going good. After this combat however no new combat occurs.2- Note which platform you’re using (PC,…

Moraug's Landfall Trigger does not successfully trigger
Just lost a game I should have won because Moraug's trigger didn't go off properly. I casted him, played a land and moved to combat but didn't receive my extra combat phase or buffs.
