How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

  1. Grouping Is Missing (For Large Board States)

    In paper we organise permanent to make it easier to understand the game state. Maybe I start to place summon sick creatures to the right and nonsick creatures to the left.

    By this same token, when I attack, I move all of the attackers together. To attack as one group than to try to hide that a creature is attacking.

    You can see by the images, how the attackers are spread out. Imagine if opponent had to make several blocks and had to be clicking the buttons to see more and more attacking creatures.

  2. A desperate plea to allow to delete old decks in bulk

    PLEASE READ -We NEED a better way to delete multiple decks

    I cannot stress enough how much we need a mass delete deck button. i have backlogs of trial and error decks i have no intention of going back to, and cleaning it up takes so much time! please just give us that one small feature. Honestly, i would even be happy with the confirmation pop-up to accept the Enter Key as 'confirm delete" at the moment deleting is so unoptimized, so clunky, takes forever to barely make a dent in the pile up. please. im begging you, whoever's out…

  3. Completely and utterly dumb alchemy archetypes

    Alchemy is currently riddled with a completely unfun and pointless card combination that is completely spoiling the experience.

    Specifically omnisicience/acquitic sublety decks could be played by anyone including a lobotomized Guinea pig. This is the successor of the equally stupid Kona/omniscience deck. What is most incredible is how lazy card design needs to be to go from nerfing Kona cause the deck was unfun and oppressive, to releasing yet another omniscience delivery method (arguably a better one) in the EXPANSION IMMEDIATELY AFTER THAT.

  4. Mythos of Nethroi bug

    When playing Mythos of Nethroi after the new update, the game won't allow you to pay it's GW cost to destroy any nonland permanent. Instead, it only gives you the option to pay 2B when targeting a non-creature permanent, and gives you the option to pay with GW only when targetting creatures. I play on PC, and I have Log attached of my last game where I tried to use it on a planeswalker and it wouldn't give me the option.

  5. shuffling doesn't work you need to fix this

    How ******* hard is it to make a proper shuffler. I swear the idiot devs over there at MTG decided that the right way to shuffle is to do it like it happens in teh real world where because a player refuses to rerandomize there deck every few hands meaning you take all your cards and either A casino shuffle them OR B build stacks of land creater instant etc and then shuffle those stacks. If you don't do this you do indeed end up with getting 4 - 5 of a card type in a row i.e. all lands.…

  6. Change the rules text for "Protection"

    I was under the impression that The One Ring gave me virtual invincibility until my next turn after it enters the battlefield (if played), because the text when I hover over it says that a player with Protection from Everything "...can't be... dealt damage...," but apparently that is NOT the case, because apparently Questing Beast craps all over that. That would have been nice to know before I decided to play my copy of The One Ring instead of my Doomskar while my opponent had a Questing Beast in play. You should seriously consider changing the wording of the hover…

  7. New Card and Token: Land That Disables Abilities On Opponent's Land But Gives It All Land Types

    This land enters tapped.
    When this land enters, create a Deserted token and attach it to target land an opponent controls.
    (Tap): Add 1 colorless mana.

  8. Cling to Dust cast via Escape triggers Surveil overlay and soft-locks (forced concede)

    Steps to reproduce
    1. Start a match.
    2. Have Cling to Dust in your graveyard with Escape available (enough mana + enough other cards in graveyard to exile).
    3. Cast Cling to Dust from the graveyard using Escape.
    4. Client incorrectly enters a Surveil selection overlay and the game cannot proceed.

    Actual results
    After casting Cling to Dust via Escape, the client showed a Surveil overlay (“Drag cards to put them on top of your library or into your graveyard.”). I could not take any valid action to continue (appeared soft-locked). I ultimately conceded because there…

  9. issues about game play

    Is there any hope about you guys putting actual game play back into the game or is it a lost cause? If you really wanted to make money for the game you would start with the biggest problem and that is the short gam play. Make the pros be real pros and make them build decks that use the higher end cards, then all the meta players would have to buy wild cards to play the meta decks...and if they can't then they really are not a pro are they.   10. Modular issue

    Today during my Remix Draft: Artifacts, I experienced an issue that led me to lose the game. Since the modular ability was very relevant in my deck and appeared several times in my game, the issue that forces me to target my opponent's creatures with the modular ability should I have none of my own was very frustrating. (See below. As you can see, there is no option to not put the counters on my opponent's creatures.) I hope you can help.

  11. Bug: Sludge Monster / Sheoldred, the Apocalypse Incorrect rules interaction

    On PC

    1) Casted Sludge Monster targeting Sheoldred, the Apocalypse
    2) With placing the ***** counter on Sheoldred, the Apocalypse on the stack, opponent forced me to sacrifice Sludge monster via Sheoldred's Edict
    3) The ***** counter went on Sheoldred, the Apocalypse
    4)Sheoldred, the Apocalypse was still had all abilities and never became a 2/2

    The Persist spell should be banned in Historic format.

    This card should be banned because it allows players to win on turn 2 in this format. It shouldn't be allowed.

  13. skewed match making

    In paper drafting you have a pool of cards and only one or two players can draft the archetype because of limited resources. So if in Lorwyn you make an elemental deck you would expect to be one of two players in that archetype. You should be playing other archetypes. I just played 3 elemental decks in a row against my elemental deck. And we all had good cards. That scenario wouldn't happen in a paper magic setting.

  14. Avatar changes from Toph to Vivien during match

    When the avatar is set to Toph on Android, it displays correctly on the VS screen, but changes to Vivien after entering the match.
    This happens every time and in all match types, against both players and AI.

    Since the latest update, I cannot read the power/toughness in any of the creatures and the player's life totals when playing in my phone (android). When playing on my PC, everything is fine.

  16. Bug in cards

    When u cast Kavaero, Mind-Bitten and it enters as a copy of Bringer of the Last Gift players sacfirice createure but they shouldnt, coz it says IF U CAST BRINGER OF THE LAST GIFT and opponent DIDNT CAST BRINGER OF THE LAST GIFT but he casted KAVAERO. EXPLAIN!

  17. Desperate Bloodseeker Bug

    On Android

    Opponent targeted me with Desperate Bloodseeker, but instead of milling me 2 cards nothing happened until the timers ran out and I lost the game (Historic Ranked). Game almost seemed frozen otherwise aside from the actively draining timers, the inactivity warning, and the opponent spamming the "Greatness at any Cost" emote

    There is no reason I should be on the draw every single game of a draft. Half the players in the pool were on the play in the last game they played. Your match making should be able to account for this to reduce variance.

  19. rite of flames etc

    getting to see more cards added to the game yet unable to be purshased or played is frustrating, as a ruby storm player seeing a card able to conjure rite of flames yet i can't build with rite of flame nor with pyretic ritual nor desperate ritual, adding seething song and manamorphose recently made this particular deck able to be played but mana is clanky

    but the real problem isn't in my specific frustration, it lies on the fact conjured cards are often not playable cards, i understand the case of oracle of the alpha since it is the power…

  20. Consistent crashing in Lorwyn eclipsed trad draft gameplay

    Consistent crashes and stuttering in the MTGA win11 client in game 1 and 2 of trad draft Lorwyn games.
    First crash seemed related to targeting with the -1/-1 counter from bile-vial boggart.
    No reason for second.
