How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Rope when unable to take game actions

    If my opponent is going pseudo infinite with no ways for being able to account for interaction I should not be timed out, or roped when I do not get to take my turn. My opponent is playing a deck that hopes to go infinite, I have interactions plain to see and when I attempt to interact with my opponent my game gives me a warning, while their triggers are still in the stack that I am going to be awarded a game loss when I can clearly stop the loop on my turn given the time to.   2. timeout loss while other players turn

    when a long combo of lifegain takes place on the other player, I got a time out while their combo was going, which cost me to lose the game even though it was their turn.

  3. Stolen uniform not allowing opponent's eq as legal targets

    Stolen uniform should allow me to steal any equipment in play, including from my opponents side of the field. When casting, i was unable to do so.

    ban mossborn hydra in brawl. doubling +1/+1 counters on a landfall creature with trample makes it a meta win condition for any green deck. every green player i have lost to uses it

  5. Brawl matchmaking

    Request fix to the Brawl matchmaking system or a notice to the player-base that you have no intention of ever fixing it.

    The last update from the addition of aetherdrift to MTG Arena, has drastically altered the previous matchmaking balance and has still not been fixed. Prior to the patch, the matchmaking was still not great but was tolerable enough with hopes that it might be actually be tuned better in the future. Its been almost a month since this became an issue and its still in a practically unplayable state with matches being one sided.

  6. Ui doesn’t show targets when conjuring multiple creatures with rite of replication

    When you create 5 big fin bouncers with rite of replication the ui does not show which creatures have been targeted with each big fin entering play. So, if your opponent has multiple of the same creature that you want to target you are left guessing at which one(s) have already been targeted.

  7. Win being recorded as win and loss

    I entered a match today with 2 losses and 0 wins. At the end of the match, which I won, it showed me with 1 win and three losses (it tallied both), and I was only able to claim my prizes. I was very surprised that I was unable to play again after a victory.

  8. Bug: Targetting Valgavoth with no nonland permanents on the board

    I had Valgavoth on the board on turn 4 and my opponent had nothing on their board. They cast Inevitable Defeat and were able to target Valgavoth and exile him without sacrificing 3 nonland permanents, as is Valgavoth's ward cost. Why was that possible!?

  10. timer issue

    Timer Issue when not in control.
    I had a card that when milled into the graveyard puts graveyard back into deck. So this little mill combo didn't bother me. However My timer kept going down when I had no control of the board to warrant any action. It went down Twice and I couldn't chose or do anything auto passing should be an option for auto resolve as well.

    Device: PC
    Experiencing: Timer not in control depleting and automatic win condition if other player exploits.
    Expected results: Timer only goes down during players ability for action
    No current work…

  11. Quistis unable to choose fate of the sun-cryst bug

    I used Quistis to copy Fate of the Sun-cryst in a critical moment in game 5, and it selected another spell instead - The crystal's chosen.

    Please review the logs for confirmation - Given the stakes of this tournament, this is extremely frustrating.

  12. Sparky stuck in "Hmmm."-ing out turn - Need a way to force Sparky's play

    Bug: As of 9/7/23 Sparky is stuck in "Hmmm."-ing on their turn to play. Is Sparky teaching roping as a valid strategy now?

    Situation: Sparky has any number of cards or even no cards in hand. It is Sparky's first main phase. I am in a winning position just playing cards to try to get to test a new card in my 100-card singleton deck. Sparky Hmmms for ~ 17 minutes, then I get the victory screen. Sparky doesn't even say "You got me!", such a sore loser! This happened today against Sparky's Blue, Black, Red, White, and Green decks.

  13. Sign In failure - unable to access game

    Sign In on linux based distributions always produces the "Connection Lost" dialog box (see attachment).
    I have periodically tried signing in over the past 2 years, at some point it still worked, but in more recent times it just always produces the dialog box in the screenshot, no matter how many times you reconnect/sign in, check the ports on network, it doesn't seem to care. Ironically the android one works fine, but editing a deck on that platform inspires thoughts of arson related to the WoTC headquarters. So, I ask with tears in my eyes, what is it that makes…

  14. cannot tap when an opponent casts Split Up

    I cannot tap "Giada, Font of Hope" for its mana ability in response to my opponent casting "Split Up" and choosing an "untapped creature" as the target.

  16. Large hand size creates inability to play cards

    When playing on mobile, certain cards create hands that exceed the maximum viewable hand size. This makes cards to the far left and right unusable. When unzoomed the cards can be seen and highlighted, but when you attempt to use it, the zoom in forces the cards off screen and you cannot interact with them. Just lost a game becuase of this becuase I was unable to counter an interaction with a card in hand that i was unable to "see". Cards in hand should be scrollable when zoomed.

  17. Store Stuck "Waiting for Server"

    I am unable to buy anything from the store - every time the screen stalls on "Waiting for Server."

    I've closed and opened the program and the Epic launcher, I've restarted my computer, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Still not working for me.

    I'd like to buy the Pre-Release bundles for Avatar - hopefully we can resolve this before then

  18. Please ban stalling and allow players to report stalling in-app

    Please ban stalling, and create a system to allow players to flagg a stalling opponent.

    This is a common feature in other strategy games wherein people try to drag out as much time as possible to encourage their opponents to forfeit because of how not fun the game becomes. The mobile version of Risk has a system for this if you need a reference.

  19. Client passes normal damage priority during first strike if first strike creatures removed before damage

    This report is in relation to passing priority after first strike damage after the first strike creatures are removed.

    The client is Mac OS X.

    This happened during the final match of the draft on 9/1 at 12:57 am. I've attached the log files which I've just exported about 15 hours after the match. It occurred during my attack phase on turn 5.

    How to reproduce:

    1. Active player (AP) attacks with multiple creatures, including one with first strike. AP has interaction available with a legal target and mana to cast it. Non-active player (NAP) also has removal they can cast…

  20. connection indicator

    Each player should have a ping/connection indicator. When there is an error in connection, it looks like the opponent is often disconnected, when in fact unbeknownst to the player, we are disconnection
