How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Hidden strings while in full control only allows for 1 target selection and cannot be resolved.

    1. Give us the steps to reproduce the bug
    2. Play the spell "Hidden Strings" while in full control mode. The player will then be prompted to select only 1 target to tap or untap with no option to move forward.

    3.   Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

    6. Hidden strings only allows for one target to be selected and does not allow the user to "Submit 1" or select a second target while in full control mode.

  2. default "damage to any target" value

    Less of a bug, more of a suggestion. I was reaching the maximum turn time, played Roxanne with 2 etb doublers, and 3 token doublers on the field. When the timer expired, the targets for the effect "on etb, deal 2 damage" were defaulted to my own face. I'm GUESSING that this is because you don't separate default targets by effect type, and you just have a default list that just selects first valid target, akin to self, opponent, own static zones, opponent's static zones, permanents by timestamp, etc.

    Would it be possible to change the default …

  4. Unable to access my account

    Unable to access my account. I play on iOS tablet. Every time I try to connect I get a black screen that goes to unable to connect , then gives 3 options , check status and, reconnect, or log out. I check status and it says operational. I try to reconnect and all I get is a black screen. I tried to log out and log back in and get the same screen.

  5. report player broken

    clearly MTG doesn't take player reporting seriously since they just let hackers and cheaters play all day long. wonder why MTG gets hatred, its because you don't make this game cheat/hack proof.

    and for 3+ years now we can't report players who cheat.

  6. "Unable to get collection" error message

    The infamous "unable to get collection" error message is back, which is preventing me from accessing the main menu.

    I'm unable to connect to MTGA on both iOS 18.1 and macOS 15.1

    The following troubleshooting steps haven't resolved the issue:

    • Restarted MTGA app
    • Logged out + back in to MTGA
    • Tried macOS app + Epic Games Launcher
    • Tried wifi and 5G connection
    • Restarted PC + mobile
    • Flushed DNS

  7. Couldn't Target the Red Overlord with Withering Torment

    I was trying to remove the Red Overlord creature but when casting Withering Torment I couldn't target it all. I tried clicking multiple times and it didn't even highlight the creature as a potential target.

    cant get friend request/friend request sent does pop up for other player

  10. Unable to Select Card in Premium Draft

    I would like to request a refund on my draft due to a bug in the client that caused me to lose out on a key card.

    1. Give us the steps to reproduce the bug:
    2. enter premium draft
    3. select cards normally until pack 1 pick 6
    4. drag vampire interloper towards my deck, but then put it back
    5. vampire interloper visually disappears and is unable to be selected or dragged into the deck.

  11. Lightwheel enhancements unable to be cast

    Unable to cast Lightwheel Enhancements from my graveyard with max speed. Had max speed and was unable to interact with lightwheel Enhancements in my graveyard. Had plenty of available mana. Cost me the game in quick draft. Does not feel good when I am using a premium currency to lose this way.

    Opponent cast Trade the Helm on my Swiftwing Assailant that was enchanted by Lightwheel Enhancements. I was able to kill the Swiftwing, possible Arena thought the lightwheel was my opponents even though it was in my graveyard?

  12. Fix "Ice Magic" Blizzara ability to allow target player to choose top or bottom of library for card affected

    Dear MTG:A Developers,
    Good day. I hope you all are well.

    My current version is 2025.50.1.9362.1168061

    I encountered a bug in Midweek Magic: Phantom Bot Draft where I was playing up against an opponent who used the "Ice Magic" card, specifically the "Blizzara" ability when I was attacking him with my "Loporrit Scout". I was not allowed to choose where my Loporrit Scout went, top or bottom of the library. Instead, the card went right to the top of my library visible with the red eye icon next to it. I was not prompted to choose.

  14. Network error unable to get collection

    Unable to log in since a couple of days. Using a MacBook pro and connecting form Australia.
    Network error " unable to get collection" and "there was a problem communicating with server"messages popping out.
    This started while playing a draft game and could't log in since then.

  16. Unable to get Collection

    Hi, since April 24th I can't access the Arena server with the following error message: Unable to get collection. On April 23rd you did a server maintenance, apparently with an update to version 2025.47.35. I'm stuck on 2025.47.10 and my Epic Games Launcher (I have a Mac) still doesn't show any available updates. I can assume that this is the problem, but I can't find a solution. For now it's impossible to play.

  18. Unable to sideboard in game 3 on mobile

    In a ranked Bo3 match, between games 1 & 2, I was able to access my sideboard and make changes to my deck. In between games 2 & 3 however, when viewing my deck and sideboard, I could not add cards from my sideboard into my deck by tapping them; I was able to remove (or add additional copies) cards from my deck by using the + and - buttons, but could not replace them with cards that were in the sideboard and not the maindeck- obviously though, I could not register fewer cards than legal, so I was unable

  19. Website won't allow report player

    Your support website loops when attempting to report a player for misconduct. Clicking "report player" in the articles list produces wrong instructions with the alternative to "click here." clicking there results in a page claiming I'm not logged in, even though I am. Thus there is no mechanism to report player YouPlayLikeAFgt#15689 for blatantly obfuscating the offensive phrase "You Play Like A ******."

  20. Unable to Login - Server Error

    The app loads through “checking for active matches” but eventually times out and displays “Unable to Login” message. This was repeated on a Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel Pro Fold. Opening the app on an iPad Pro initially displayed “waiting for server” followed by “Error: error updating data,” but after restarting the app displayed “Network Error” and then “Unable to Login” after attempting to reconnect.

    I was able to login very briefly circa 8:45am PST and opened the July Renewal Egg to collect the rewards before being logged off.

    Issue began circa 9:00am PST on 29 Jul, 2025.
