How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

  1. Invasion of Tarkir dealt more damage than it should have

    I was playing a match in Historic Ranked. On the previous turn, the opponent had played Invasion of Tarkir, revealed a dragon card, and destroyed my creature with 3 damage. Fine. On the next turn I played a 4/4 creature. Opponent then played another Invasion of Tarkir, revealed ONE dragon card, but my creature was dealt 4 damage instead of 3, killing it.   2. Dragon's Approach/Tybalts Trickery Interaction

    PC MTGA Bug.
    Midweek Magic Event Cascade Historic Brawl.

    The opponent player used one or both of these cards to play a 12/12 Eldrazi.

    Unless I misunderstood a rule interaction, I cannot see how they have been able to form this feat without abusing a bug.

    Eusocial engineering creates twice the amount of tokens and I don't see why since my opponent didn't had any cards that made that possible.

  4. Sidisi, Regent of the Mire

    Sidisi from the new Dragons set is unfunctional. It cost me two games in the last round of a traditional draft, not only making me go negative EV when perfectly possible to win those games if the card functioned correctly. You are unable to sacrifice your creature to return anything at any mana cost. To be honest, I would like a refund of gems, when paying real world money for something, where there are prizes on the line and then only one side of a game is functional is very disappointing.

  5. Multiple copy cards not working on Brawl

    1.   Build a brawl deck with multiples of any of the "any number of cards" choices (hare apparent, dragon's approach) 
      
    2.   PC
      
    3.  Deck not considered usable by client
      
    4.   Deck should be usable by client

  6. Koh, the Face Stealer - Card not acting as a Shapeshifter

    Koh, the Face Stealer - Card not acting as a Shapeshifter. The card is not putting an (ALL) next to its shapeshifter creature type when in game play. It should act like other Shapeshifters, being able to use Type Bonuses, but it currently is not.

    Example would be having Corroding Dragonstorm in play, and playing Koh, and the card triggering because a shapeshifter would count as a Dragon Type, and the card should return to players hand.

  7. speed sound effect not working

    The sound effect for increasing speed cuts out after the initial rev sound. There's no more "ding" sound. The Start Your Engines sound effect is the same, but the subsequent increases are cut short.

  8. Issue with cards that have "A deck can have any number of cards named *blank*"

    This last update has broken all my brawl decks with Hare Apparent, Dragon's Approach, s l i m e(because its censored without the spaces for some reason) Against Humanity, and Rat Colony, stating that "This deck contains too many copies of a card" despite the fact that it is their entire gimmick.

  9. Unexpected Draw with time still on the clock

    I play a vadrok combo deck, and some turns can take awhile with many spells cast. Sometimes this creates a large stack that needs to resolve after I play or re-play show of confidence. The problem is, the game will sometimes force a draw when I still have time on my rope.
    In this screenshot, all but one dragon was played in one turn. This was just the start of my second rope. I still probably had ~25 seconds to swing and end the turn. The game forced a draw in the middle of resolving the stack instead.

    Situation: I had a Blossoming Tortoise (a Hangarback Walker with one +1/+1 counter on it, equipped with an Assimilation Aegis that was currently exiling a Blossoming Tortoise) and was in the beginning of combat step. My opponent activated the "destroy target artifact" ability of their Cankerbloom targeting the Assimilation Aegis. In response, I attempted to activate my Goblin Engineer to sacrifice the Aegis, targeting a Masterpiece Vault in my graveyard.   11. Ban Doc Aurlock in Standard (or at least BO1)

    This enablement with airbending leads to extremely lengthy turns with no win condition in sight as a player often times slowly assembles a stack of 1/1 tokens and eventually passes the turn or worse (exploit/glitch?) causes their opponent to timeout and lose the ability to react. The latter occurs if the opponent has a response that they must continuously acknowledge. The airbending player never seems to time out and can perform the loop as frequently as they wish while causing their opponent to timeout (certain circumstances). This playloop is reminiscent of copycat in Kaladesh Standard or in more recent times…

  12. GreError with 249 tokens

    I had a game end in a GreError draw due to 249 Scute Swarm tokens, with Ashaya, Blossoming Tortoise, and some earthbent Forests.

    For some weird reason, it hung on the Blossoming Tortoise attack trigger, even though that has nothing to do with the tokens?
    (It's a mill/graveyard/return land action, which would have created more tokens, but never got the chance.)

    249 tokens seems like a reasonable number, so maybe it was the 6 +1/+1 counters on each of them?
    There's got to be a way to efficiently store that many tokens and counters, the game engine should be able…

  13. Redirecting target of spells using "Return the Favor" didn't update the list of valid targets

    An opponent cast a spell (I don't remember the spell's name) to "Destroy target creature with power 4 or greater" targeting one of my Scorpion Dragon Tokens (made with Magda). I go to cast "Return the Favor" to redirect that spell into destroying one of my opponent's own fliers and protecting my scorpion at the same time (They have a 4/3 Flying Unicorn creature at least, I'm almost certain he had another creature of power 4 or greater as well).   14. Leyline giving bonuses from lifelink before resolution of damages

    In game according to the rule if a creature gets damage equal or superior to its toughness, it die.
    The white leyline (current standard) allows to give bonuses if the controller have more than a certain number of hp.

    Right now I just witness an interaction where the leyline gave bonuses to creature that were 0 in toughness before they die. I understand that lifelink triggers in same time as the damages but the bonus from the leyline that is activated by the life gain from the damage should activate AFTER the resolution of the damage.   15. Cards face down in hand

    On Steam / Linux I have never had any issues until today, card in my hand drawn face down. When I played it, the front doesn't load correctly and it gets stuck on the stack, even though the game engine played it correctly and I was able to get to the end of the game, the broken card stayed on the stack the whole time.

  16. Loss of MTGA "Additional" Data

    I've been having to redownload the game multiple times for my Android Samsung 24 Ultra. It is also happened on my windows 10 PC. Approximately 13 GB in my windows 10 case and approximately 3.4 GB large on my phone.i re-downloaded it once on my pc, lots the data again, and I've had to download this five times on my phone as nearly every 2 to 3 days it loses the data and needs to re-download MTGA this started happening after the Edge of Eternities set, not sure if that makes a difference or if anything was changed internally in…

  17. Affordances for Infinite Mana production / Unlimited card draw engines

    I have been playing around with a pet deck in Arena Standard which can generate infinite mana and unlimited card draw, but the effectiveness of doing so has been stymied by games being forced to a draw or me being forced to cease drawing cards and generating mana by Arena's "stall protection". It seems to believe that no progress is being made in the game state, even though I am continuously drawing cards and developing my field, as well as generating enough mana to cast a way to close out the game.

  19. [[Case of the Lost Witness]] + [[Ephemerate]] Incorrect rules interactions

    Hello Rules-engine team,

    I belive I encountered a gameplay bug (incorrect rules interaction) while playing arena cube when I attempted to [[Ephemerate]] a [[Fblthp, the Lost]] conjured by [[Case of the Lost Witness]]. Some more observations (log file too big to attach):

    • the spell was put on the stack, but seems to have not fully resolved since the Rebound reminder box didn't get created.
    • the conjured Fblthp did not get put in my hand
    • the ephemerate did go to my graveyard

    This was on PC client.

    Hope this helps spot an issue, and is not me wasting someones time…
