How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

    Tenia un 'Orbe de los dragones de jade' con el cual juego un 'Bocahumareda salvaje'.
    El juego me pone la animacion de que tiene antimaleficio, pero fue destruida porque fue objetivo de un conjuro con efecto de 'destruye la criatura objetivo'.

  2. Excessive Timeouts when players leave a match on PC using the X in top right by closing app.

    When playing MTGA on PC, if a player leaves during a game by clicking the X and closing the client, the server does not register this and the other player has to suffer through however many 30 second timers the player has until the player times out.

    This happens in at least 25-30% of matches I play during dailies, players get frustrated or realize they are going to lose and X out. I've tested this myself with friends to reverse engineer what was going on. Initially I thought it was players griefing when they were going to lose, then…

  3. I have 22 lands in a 65 land deck and draw nothing but lands every game, fix it

    Your draw system is rigged to benefit certain players. There is no way in a deck where there are 22 out of 65 land cards, where i have 10 lands down, 6 in the graveyard, and 6 left in the deck with a total of 37 cards left in the deck, that I pull 5 lands in a row. With draw cards and draw for turn. The odds on the first one would be 16%, the next 13%, then 11%, 8%, then 6%. The chances of getting 5 in a row? That a 0.00109824% chance of happening 5 times in…

  4. Cheating

    MTGA has a serious issue with people summoning and using mana abilities when they don't have any mana available to them. Among other things, some players are just able to ignore the effects of enchantments all together, such ghostly prison, which is supposed to require your oppent to pay 2 for each attack creature. Also, another issuing occurring is watching opponents play cards when they don't have anything in their hand, no abilities triggering to allow then to play from their deck or graveyard.     Your response, assuring me that the algorithms are “working as intended,” only reinforces my concern—not relieves it. If this is the intended behavior, then the design itself is the problem. The company's stated goal is to simulate “true randomness,” but the mistake here is confusing randomness with realism. Magic: The Gathering is not a purely random game—it’s a game of tuned variance and controlled chaos. Real-world shuffling, while imperfect, produces gameplay that feels consistent, engaging, and skill-rewarding.   6. Graveyard cards make it impossible to view/discard a card from hand

    Would like to report a frustrating bug (unless there is an option to avoid this I don’t know about).
    Upon gameplay, I amassed a large amount of cards in my hand and from my graveyard to choose from on my turn. So many cards that I could not choose a card in my hand to discard. All the cards from my graveyard took up all the space, so I could not get to a view where I could choose a card from my hand. As a result, I frantically tried everything I could to pick a card - ANY card…

  7. Incorrect rules interactions

    When I create a temporary token with the effect of Saheeli, Radiant Creator, Worldwaker Helm creates a temporary Map token that I have to sacrifice just like the token created by Saheeli, Radiant Creator. Additionally, I can’t choose the order of the triggers of Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Saheeli, Radiant Creator at the beginning of combat.

  8. iPad 6th gen with iPadOS 17.7.10 crashes frequently

    It seems that there's a memory leak.
    Long sessions, or long games, cause a crash.
    Even browsing the store and swiping across many items.
    As a software engineer, it seems that cards displayed are not managed and disposed when no longer on screen, and this potentially causes a memory leak.
    While this crash may only be apparent on older or low memory devices, I do believe the fix would boost the interface of all platforms.

  9. Undo (z) on mana payment wigged out the mana payment system and locked me out of pay x mana spells, costing me my final loss in a draft.

    While playing Dragon's of Tarkir Premier Draft, I attempted to cast Spectral Denial to counter a pretty big creature spell from my opponent. I accidentally selected 2 mana instead of 1 for (x) and attempted to undo. Something broke and it would not let me continue casting the spell, my only option was to cancel. This left multiple copies of the mana payment widget on the screen overlaid on top of one another but did not do anything when clicked on. Attempts to use the spell again ran into the same issue and I was unable to counter 2…

  10. Lag/Skip post blocks and it appeared like a miscalculation

    PC Windows
    Post blocks blocked a 4/4 Draconotics Engineer with an 8/9 Burrowguard Mentor with shelter on it sheltering a Krenko. Game kind of skipped out post combat and the mentor was gone. It wasn't killed as the krenko did not return to their side of the field, it just disappeared. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think so

  11. Shuffle the deck after Graveyard to Deck effect

    Shuffle the **** deck after a return to deck effect. Sick of seeing the same 10 cards in a rusko deck after the first passthrough with the Midnight Clock effect. You already have an awful biased shuffle weight between the double blind curve mulligan in the back end on the first hand, not to mention the land weighting you do, this is just egregious. I don't think any of you engineers understand proper RNG functions.

    I had more to say, but it delved into banable territory.
    Fix your shuffler.

  12. Game loss with no game actions

    I was in a Ranked game on the mobile application. My opponent was stalling and slow playing the game (they had used 1 of their time extensions). After the first time extension expired I commented 'Hello'. After the second time extension started I commented 'Nice'. After 10 more seconds I lost the game. I'm not providing game logs. I'm not providing you with any information concerning the issue. As a software engineer your programmers should be more than capable of locating and figuring out how to resolve the issue. FIX YOUR GAME!

  13. performance on macOS is miserable, client is unplayable

    once again, the client on macOS is unplayable.

    enter a game. 2 turns later everything is slowed down to a crawl. UN F* PLAYABLE.

    this has been an issue in the past. it was seemingly fixed around beginning of july (client ran really smooth on the exact same machine).
    now since 2 updates its UNPLAYABLE again.

    question to engineers: what the **** are you doing?! you remove the fix from previous patch? you dont check whether your changes break the entire client? i want to understand…

  14. Review each nerfed 'Rebalanced for Alchemy' card's use in Brawl

    Brawl is a much higher power format than Alchemy itself is, and from what has been printed into Brawl recently, that's only going to become increasingly true. Therefore it's an issue for the format that some cards are arbitrarily made worse because they happened to break Alchemy when they were never an issue in Brawl itself, or were an issue in Brawl so long ago that they wouldn't be now.

    Leyline of Resonance, Cori-Steel Cutter, Dragon's Rage Channeler and many, many others, would be complete nonissues in Brawl as printed in paper, or at least wouldn't be power outliers…
