How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  2. Store non-functional on Mac

    Quite a few people have posted about being unable to purchase anything in the store using actual money (as opposed to gems or gold). Still, nothing seems to be happenig on this front, and it's not even in the "Known Issues" list. Really, people, do you not want this program to be monetized at all?

    Since my purchase the items related to release of TLA, i have not been able to buy anything with cash. I was not able to purchase gems so I could play TLA sealed. I am on a Mac Book Air OS version Tahoe 26.1,…

  3. Buddy Collection

    I would like to suggest a feature to implement a monthly subscription service, around $15 a month or so, that would allow users to play with cards not in their collection for Buddy Matches only. Playing magic with friends is a big part of magic, as is testing new decks for competitive play. Being able to play those games without necessarily needing to invest the wild cards I think would be a big draw for the Arena player base. I hope this can be done as I really enjoy playing with friends on this platform.

  4. Can’t search for cards

    Since latest update I can no longer use the card search box in the deck builder, nothing happens when I tap the search box. I’m on iOS for iPad, just started happening on the update from today.

  5. Priority glitch/stall,

    As of the latest update, when playing on Android, there will any variety of effects that will proc priority. You see the yellow aura around the opponents HP, signaling priority. I wait and wait, but then the yellow timeout counter pops up. So it's their priority, but I'm the one timing out? I know it's not my service. I might say it's some form of hack/cheat by the other player, but I've been playing for a few months and this issue has only just popped up since the last update.   6. Importing Japanese deck lists may result in the registration of invalid OM1 (SPM) cards.

    When importing a Japanese decklist into MTGA with a language setting other than Japanese, it appears that OM1 (SPM) cards do not import correctly.

    At least, this issue does not occur when importing a Japanese decklist into MTGA with Japanese language settings, or when importing an English decklist into MTGA with Japanese language settings.

    While not fully verified, for example, importing a Japanese decklist into an English-language MTGA registers “Superior Spider-Man (SPM) 155” as “Symbiote Spider-Man (SPM) 156”.
    Additionally, “Symbiotic Spider-Man (SPM) 156” is registered as “Tearle, Entropic Hunger (SPM) 137”.

  7. winter shop 2025 two :O emotes instead of >:O and :O

    i bought the new emote pack in the winter store and the >:O emote didnt show up in my list. Instead i got two :O emotes. can you please change it to >:O and :O or at least return the gems on the repeated emote? I want to keep the emotes, dont want a full refund.

  8. Scrolling doesn't work on Mac

    On a Mac laptop with a trackpad, scrolling on the store page or anywhere there's horizontal scrolling — i.e., redeeming orbs — is totally busted.

    actual results:
    scrolling goes to the end of the list with a small movement

    expected results:
    scrolling should move much more slowly, corresponding with trackpad movement.

    being able to page would also mitigate this issue. ideally these screens would have paging support.

    it feels like you're giving Mac users the mobile version of the app and haven't optimized it at all. Kinda sucks.

    Also, isn't an "idea" so don't ask me to "post idea".

  9. Land Bug

    During deck building or modification of lands of any kind on iOS mobile platforms, you cannot adjust lands manually or automatically in limited formats. As soon as you do the game freezes and does not allow any other type of action. Even when selecting suggested lands. I also noticed if you add a different color of card it does not add it to the deck if you’re able to back out of the deck builder.

  10. Demonic Pact UI bug

    Demonic Pact does not properly display which modes are unchosen when passed to me by an opponent's Harmless Offering. I saw this and misplayed because of what I thought I would have available on my upkeep.
    Of note, my first upkeep with the Pact I chose "opponent discards 2" and it never updated the UI even from that turn (this picture is after end of game) - apparently when passed to me the discard and the lose the game were the only options available.
    Also of note, it's somehow greying out the first paragraph instead of the bullet list items,…

  11. Game unplayable on Android since last update (Tuesday FEB 24)

    Numerous game actions (i.e. death of a creature, selection on a modal spell, creation of tokens etc) lead to game freezing and no possible action on any button/object, without warning (so you realize it when it's already stalled for 10-20 secs). Need to restart client each time, leading to additional waiting time (30 - 120 secs) and game losses. Game is largely unplayable due to this issue, which happens multiple times in a single game. Restoring files etc doesn't work.

  13. I CAN'T ACCESS MY ACCOUNT

    Hello, I'm reporting an error that's been driving me crazy all day, trying to find "possible solutions" that aren't working. Yesterday, while playing a game, the app unexpectedly closed on my iPhone. To my surprise, this morning when I tried to log back into my account, I couldn't get in. I got a black screen with the message "Unable to log in
    Authentication failed for X: Timeout."

    Before trying it on my PC (Windows), I tried clearing the app's cache, uninstalling and reinstalling it, trying with mobile data and Wi-Fi, and restarting my phone. None of those things worked.…

  14. Missed out on half of a draft due to matchmaking bug.

    Warning to anyone who might read this: do not do any drafting until the matchmaking bug is fixed.

    1. Steps to reproduce: try drafting.
    2. Mac, via Steam, and iOS.
    3. The pack passing freezes and you don't get to draft additional cards. Then it disconnects, and when you try to log back in it stops on "Waiting for Server" screen. It lets you log back in once the draft timer is finished, but the client will have auto-drafted your deck.
    4. Expected results: being able to draft normally.

  15. Locking down and removing abilities isn't working in my white blue deck.

    More than one of my white or blue lockdown spells is still giving abilities even when thier abilities are gray.

  16. My game crashes whenever a token dies

    Whenever one of my tokens is destroyed, the game immediatly stops responding, and I'm forced to restart arena, making me lose the match.
    At first i thought it was a connection issue, but then I noticed that the games run smoothly as long as no tokens are destroyed.
    I play on Android, and for some reason the Capture Log button doesn't work as well, so I couldn't get it to compliment the post.

  17. Tam, Mindful First-Year + Leyline of the Guildpact = My hexproof doesn't work?!

    Tam, Mindful First-Year gives creatures I control hexproof from each of its colours.
    Leyline of the Guildpact gives all my non-land permanents all colours.

    And yet with both of them in play and a large board ready to run my opponent over two of my large creatures were targeted and killed by 'Battle Menu' even though their card on their battlefield LITERALLY said 'Hexproof from White'.

    This has to be a bug. There is no way this is working as intended.

  18. Game freezing

    Since a few days, I often experience Arena freezing mid-game (Android Phone). This happens once every 3-5 matches at random times. Usually I manahe to restart the game in time to rejoin the match, but just now it did not work and I was awarded a loss. This is quite frustrating as it was in a premier draft event that I paid for.

  19. Important card and game data broken/missing after last update

    Since the last update, to get ready for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Arena on Android is practically unplayable as important game data is blocked out, like players life totals, and card power and toughness. Card names are even replaced with nonsense characters.

    I'm a daily player and now Arena is unplayable... Please fix this? I am grinding coins for the TNMT release but if this is how Arena is, it's unplayable and I will have to miss out. I see someone on iOS has the same issue... Does nobody really play this game for this bug to just be left…

  20. Hire more Arena devs (rant)

    Hasbro, you NEED to hire more developers, and otherwise give more support to the digital face of your billion-dollar game. There are too many issues to list; just play the game and they'll readily become apparent.

    It feels as if there are just enough people to work on the deluge of set releases and only one person doing quality control.

    The Lorwyn Jump In Midweek Magic event broke me.
