1. Arena frustration – Draft is the only playable format

   Dear Magic Team,

   I have been a Magic player for years, and I must be honest: Arena is becoming increasingly frustrating. Constructed formats are almost unplayable due to overpowered cards like Collected Company, and games are often decided by turn 3–4. There is almost no middle ground: either one player dominates immediately, or loses immediately.

   Draft is currently the only format that still delivers real Magic gameplay. But even there, it has limitations: expensive, only current sets are available, and little variety. Arena cannot sustain long-term player engagement under these conditions.

   I sincerely hope future updates will focus more on balance, variety, and genuine gameplay enjoyment rather than just quick wins and wildcard grind.

2. priority

   Game did not give priority off cryogen relic trigger entering play. I wanted to cast Demand Answers inresponse to the trigger to sac the relic so i had exactly 1 card in-hand to proc off riddler.

   Instead it played the relic immediately and drew me a card, putting my hand size at 1 over the limit riddler wanted.

3. Unable to Add Commander to Deck

   I am attempting to add Halana and Alena, Partners as my Commander in my 100deck Commander set. It is Legendary and the correct mana colors, don't understnad why it won't take.

5. did not allow instant

   when opp cast creature I had an instant to target my creature and deal damage to his creature and I was not allowed to cast; they cast a sac creature destroy target creature at sorcery and again I was not allowed to cast my instant both times right after he cast his creature and right after or before he could cast his scocery I was not allowed to cast my spell. Issue with stack and maybe interaction with sac creature spells and target creature instants IDK but I want my 2,000 gems this was a draft.

6. Alchemy Packs are not counting towards gold pack

   Alchemy packs are not counting towards golden pack. If they need to be standard alchemy then magic needs to update the wording. Currently it just says standard and alchemy. If you click on full details it says the same thing.

8. Format Care Arena: Alchemy, Historic and Timless

   Formats on Arena have serious problems. That's because, since a lot of players play every day an enormous number of matches, metas revolve very quickly. An online game should have ban, rebalancing, and sban every month at least, but every two weeks possibly. On the contrary, now formats are completely lost and left to themselves.

   I will now talk about the arena-only formats. Also, Standard has problems, but you already know (you should have acted sooner, also in this case). But let me say that Omniscience is completely wrong and should be banned because every time you ban a card around it, people just try other ways to ruin the format.

   Alchemy: Also here, Omniscience should be BANNED. Simply. Any nerf should not be good. Any combo deck built around this card is simply a format ruiner, because matches are extremely boring in every case.

   Historic needs to be reformed.
   The game is getting more and more boring every day. In most of the matches, it seems to see opponents play a solitaire game. You don't have any possibilities of interaction with some of the decks now present in the format.
   Especially in Bo1, the most played format in your app, Magic is becoming very boring. Reanimator persist combo is very annoying. Now it consistently closes during the second turn, and it is very difficult (and boring, since the matches are all the same) to play against it, since you should always have the exact answer in the first turn.

   Eldrazi is simply horrible, since I don't understand why only this deck can have such synergies that completely prevent opponents from playing. Destroying opponents' lands without the possibility of having a land back and without any drawback for the Eldrazi player is horrible in a format like Historic, also because every other strong way to interact with opponent lands is banned. And also, Eldrazi is the only deck that has two ramp lands specifically made for the deck. Why should any other deck have the same possibility?

   That's why the format is becoming a solitaire card game, and why playing Magic: The Gathering has never been so boring and even frustrating, to the point that I prefer playing other games, and it happens frequently that I shut the app, passing to other, more passionate games, such as a real solitaire. Game experience is no longer the same as before.

   Timeless is simply unplayable, since it needs way more cards to be even considered as a nice and interesting format. You have already added some cards, but this is not sufficient. And also in this case, you have to rebalance the format faster and to act with haste when a problematic deck presents, because the problems in this format emerge very fast, and the format is not old and rich enough to reduce the influence of bad cards.

   In a simple sentence, you have to care for the formats. Now we, as a community of players, feel completely lost.

9. Historic Metagame Event Bug - Sideboard issue

   During the Historic Metagame Event, when going to sideboard, I was only able to access my Best on One sideboard cards, instead of the Best Of Three set. This caused me to be unable to sideboard my graveyard hate cards against reanimator decks, and I lost early on two seperate entries. I had tried a second time hoping it was just a one time glitch, but it continues to be consistent.

12. Stressful time pressure - Proposed solution: Choose a difficulty level that sets the time limits...

    Hello dear Arena team,

    one of my personal wishes for 2026... ;-)

    The time limits in the matches are much too short, especially for beginners. On the other hand, most experienced players prefer a fast game.

    This could easily be solved by choosing a personal difficulty level: the settings should allow players to choose whether they want to be classified as a “beginner,” “hobby player,” “pro,” or “master.” Depending on the choice, the time slots available should be set accordingly:

    Beginner: time window x 4
    Hobby: time window x 2
    Pro: time window x 1
    Master: time window x 1/2

    ...compared to the current time windows.

    And standard for new accounts should be "beginner"-mode. So they have time to learn and can adjust their level once they feel up to it.

    This way, beginners would be more likely to compete against each other instead of constantly facing the monster decks of pro players. And the pros could enjoy faster and more challenging games.

    ドラフトを行いたかったので、3,400ジェム(3,000円)の決済をしたが、ジェムの購入をしたと表示されたが、チャージがされていなかった。
    2回同様のことをしたが同じくジェムは付与されておらず、再ログインしたら2回分の決済が走っていた。
    1回分の課金をしたいので、2回目のチャージ分は返金してください。

14. Screen freeze

    I was playing ranked, end of ranked i'm trying to get to #250, i was very close and my game froze when i was checking cards exiled with "Keen-eyed curator" while my "monument of endurance" triggers were on the stack, the game froze and i couldnt click the option i wanted anymore, tryed restarting the game, but when i came back the turn was passed, i'm really disapointed, the ranked is pretty hard to accomplish, i'm not being able to play tomorrou (31/12/2025) because of the new year family parties, this is really sad... i'm going to continue trying but went a lot of positions down because of this bug... Can you do something to repair this situation please? couldnt take screenshots because i restarted as fast as i could trying to come back to the game

16. Daily Deal Purchase didn't get Foundations Pack. Paid 900G, had 3 packs already, purchased Foundations pack, still have 3 packs .

    Win 11, up to date.
    Having multiple Graphics issues (no graphics on Packs and Cards) BUT this is about a Store purchase.
    Have 3 unopened Airbender packs already (packs appear black-graphics issue).
    Went to Daily Deals. Purchased Foundations pack for 900G. Go to Packs, still only have the 3 Airbender packs.
    What gives?

    Hi guys, I’d like a refund on my Premium draft. 1/2 way through the draft I can’t see any cards…The time counts down but can’t see or select anything. The game chooses a card for me…basically stuffed up a really good hand. And yeah the cost of everything is crazy expensive how greedy Hasbro.
