2. Two Headed Giant

   Something which my friend and I have repeatedly lamented is the lack of sufficient multiplayer options in Magic Arena. Currently Arena offers the capability to play private 1v1s as the only direct method of enjoying the game communally. While we do discuss our decks and current matches together, the lack of a format such as Two Headed Giant certainly hinders the ability to play the game cooperatively. Seeing as how this feature was present in Arena's predecessor Magic Duels, as well as the prior 2012/2013/2014 Duels of the Planeswalkers games, it makes Arena's lack of 2HG or private free for alls appear in stark contrast to the previous titles. For anyone like us who enjoyed the prior games greatly, it leaves Arena feeling lacking in the "fun with friends" department, which one could argue is perhaps the most important aspect of Magic's success. A Two Headed Giant mode would give players more reason to play past their daily quests, taking on other teams with a friend and enjoying the game in a totally different way than is currently available on the platform. Put simply, few people would find it as fun to log on to any game and queue separately than to queue up together. As is the case with most multiplayer games, they tend to be more fun with friends at your side. The ability to build and synergize decks and strategies together with a friend in a 2v2 format is a unique and enjoyable experience which would certainly draw in more people to play more often. When the topic has been asked in the past, the primary response seems to be a fear of exceeding the system limitations of mobile phones, however as the game is already far more demanding than the average phone can handle it would seem like Arena is being held back by a needless concern. Putting aside the fact that Magic Duels contained the mode while being available on iOS, it would surely be possible to at least implement this beloved mode for the desktop version of the game.

4. Commander

   This again is not a problem BUT PLEASE READ! I believe there is no reason commander should not be in this game. you should add commander and allow the ability for bots to fill empty slots in custom matches with friends. also please back track and add cards from old commander precons or make new commander precons have arena codes I feel this would make more incentives. You even have some commander cards and a sol ring pet I feel commander is a needed game mode for arena.

5. stuck in loading game in friendly maatch

   I was playing with a friend, when a bug disconnected me from the game and sent me back to home page. when I tried to reconnect and relaucnh the, i was stuck in the loading screen. same for my opponent (in my friends list)

6. bosca86 is cheating.

   in addition to Bosca86 cheating, please can i ask that you either bring back older decks or bring forward new ones as i seem to play the same life link hand every time and its getting boring. i used to average 60 %win now its prob 30% and all done to the hand delivered. same decks just who gets lucky. also i play my friend alot at this game and we get no experience or anything for the time we spend playing. this is a shame as we love the game but it doesnt benefit us to play with friends. If not something the game has to offer maybe a new featur and also and a tally?? we always argue on overall scores with teh same player. could that feature be added?????

7. Allow crafting of power and other "cube only" cards

   It would be great if we could craft cards in the Powered Cube so we can play our favorite cube decks against our friends. They don't need to be legal in anything but freeform, just as long as we can use them in direct challenges.

8. Accessibility: Option to Hide Card Art

   It would be very helpful if you could add a way for players to hide art on specific cards. That way, players could set a card to "text only" or choose to not view specific art, and be able to avoid things that they find unsettling, gross, or have a phobia of.

   This has come up for me more than you might think! I have had to not play specific decks against friends, because there is art that bothers them. Friends have had to not play certain decks against me, because there is art that bothers me. There have been times I have avoided playing for a stretch because a set I have a particular issue with is prominent, and it would stop art-based concessions in random matches (such as, in my case, when someone plays Arasta while I am taking a lunch break).

   Related: I've also wished before that I could toggle off stages that I don't like. Or to filter out certain creatures when browsing cards (I have a hard time building green decks, because at some point you are scrolling through lots of spiders. A friend of mine has the same issue with black decks and zombies.)

9. Personal Ban List in Play Queue

   In the Play Queue, allow the player to choose cards or colors to "ban" for their games. For example, if I don't want to match against Monstrous Rage and Manifold Mouse, I can select those cards for my personal "ban list" and I won't play against them. I think of this like kitchen table Magic where you set your own house rules with your friends. Queue times may be longer but I would trade a longer wait time for a more enjoyable experience.

   Of course leave the Ranked Queue for competitive play as is.

10. waiting for server

    game loads and then stays stuck with a black screen saying "Waiting for server". Its been happening for the last two days. a friend has the same issue for a week now..

    My internet and laptop are fine; this is an issue with arena..

11. Sideboard Disappears

    The game removes the BO3 half of the sideboard cards when playing a friend challenge of historic tournament.

    On PC
    Create a traditional historic deck with full 15 card side board and categorize it as such
    Friend challenge to Historic Tournament Match
    Select the deck
    Actual Result: Play match, after first game the BO3 marked portion of the sideboard is gone. Post match sideboard is missing the BO3 marked portion
    Expected Result: BO3 marked portion of the sideboard is there and the deck is not edited

12. Missing Cards

    There are missing LOTR and DnD cards on Arena. I bought packs searching for these cards, only to find out they were never even possible to get. On top of that, Fallout, my favorite IP doesn't have any cards on Arena at all.

    Saying "Commander Format" as the reason is absurd. MTG Arena is advertised as the same MTG experience, except digital, yet there are tons of cards missing.

    My friends and I can't play in person like we used to, due to living across the world. Update Arena to include missing cards, so the game can be enjoyed as advertised.

13. I used a code sniffer and read the game code. STOP RIGGING IT.

    You have the worst ******* code I've ever seen. You clearly rig the game in a terrible way, just let it be TRUE RNG, stop trying to force hands, it's such ******* ********.

    In 200 games I have gone 2nd, TWO HUNDRED GAMES IN A ROW. STOP THIS. It should be I go 1st, I go 2nd, I go 1st, simple as. Don't **** people with RNG on this *, just force it, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 2nd. It's that **** easy.

    And remove your garbage illogical shuffler, it is breaking the game. It gives 3-4 copies of cards back to back, it does impossible **** like making you draw 10 mana in a row. (Statisically impossible to happen, yet it happens 20-30 games in a row.) Literally a less than 1,300,000,000 chance to happen just ONCE, yet it happens 20-30 games in a row. Stop mana flooding, your code is god awful trash. I HAVE READ IT. You guys are ******* rigging the game interfering with this smoothing ********. JUST REMOVE IT. AND ADD TRADING TO THE TRADING CARD GAME.

14. Magnetic Snuffler + The Aetherspark Don't Resolve correctly

    If you have a copy of "The Aetherspark" in the graveyard and cast "Magnetic Snuffler" from hand, and then use Magnetic Snufflers enter the battlefield effect targeting The Aetherspark, the aetherspark will return to the battlefield but does not attach to the Magnetic Snuffler

    steps to reproduce
    1) have The Aetherspark in the graveyard
    2) Cast Magnetic Snuffler and target The Aetherspark in the graveyard
    3) Magnetic Snuffler and The Aetherspark will both be on the battlefield, but not attached.

    If this is a super wild edge case of a weird way The Aetherspark works I apologize! Asked a few friends and judges and we all assumed it's a bug!

15. Please add Planechase and Two-headed Giant.

    Me and my friends are all huge fans of Planechase, and to a lesser extent Two-headed Giant. I had never heard of Planechase until duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 but it quickly became my favorite game mode. So much so that I bought the Planechase anthology. I took it to my local game shop and now everyone there who had never heard of it before are addicted to it.

    For anyone who does not know what Planechase is, it is a gamemode where there is a extra deck of cards in the middle of the board. At the start of the match the top card is flipped face up. These cards are cards representing the different planes in the mtg lore. Each of these cards have special effects that effect all players (for better or worse), and these effects stay in play until the current plane leaves the board. During each players turn, that player may roll a special 6 sided dice that only has 2 symbols on it. Where the 1 would be is the Chaos symbol and where the 6 would be is the planeswalk symbol. A player can roll the dice as many times as he wants with the first roll being free and each subsequent roll costing 1 more mana than the last roll. If the dice lands with the chaos side up then the special bonus effect of that planes card goes into effect (this is usually a really beneficial effect). However if the planeswalk side lands face up then the current plane is discarded and a new one is revealed from the top of the deck and it's effects go into play replacing the previous planes effects. There are also special event cards called phenomenon that when revealed have a specific one time effect, then are discarded and a new planes card is flipped from the deck. It's a lot of fun and ensures that no two matches are ever the same, even if you and your open keep using the same decks over and over.

    As for Two-Headed Giant, it's just magic but with teams. 2v2. Where teammates share a single life pool of 30.

16. broken tutorial color challenge

    just got this game to play with friends. did the guided tutorial. no problem. did the white color challenge. beat all the other colors, them did white on white starter deck challenge. won. did the same for black. beat all the other colors. played the black on black starter deck player challenge..... got railroaded by someone who uses a white green deck with several legendry rabbits and elf characters. and everything buffed everything else. food and supply tokens spawned units without mana, and buffed others. what the **** was that?!

17. Daily Wins are breaking the health of your play queue and driving people away

    The behavior of players around the 15 daily wins is turning the Standard Play queues into one of the most toxic queues in the game. You know there is a problem when the common wisdom of the game is "just play Ranked, you'll have an easier time." This stems Directly from the 15 Daily Wins quest. People seeking fast wins pile into Standard queue and grab fast aggro decks that win in 3-5 turns. However, that isn't all. Because the nature of the queue is fast games there are many players that opt for forcing a fast surrender. Roping every turn to make the game take longer is incentivized as well. If you can convince the other player to surrender and move on in a few turns then you have succeeded. It creates a zero sum situation, where the only way to play the queue is for everyone to be a troll. This includes having a deck Entirely made of removal so that neither player plays a single card and the field remains completely empty for 40 minutes as you slowly draw out your decks. Even trick decks like Tibalt's with low win rates, the point is to force a surrender early, by having a toxic deck that people recognize and immediately surrender in order to move on. It means there is no queue to test a new deck on. At least no queue to test decks on that isn't Aggro or Surrender decks.

    15 wins also breaks one of the cool things about MTG. Long games. Some of the best games are the ones that can go over an hour, but with 15 wins as the goal, why would anyone spend that long? Better to surrender and keep grinding.

    Then it also makes the game very anti-social. Which is to the Serious detriment of the game. You don’t have friends on MTGA, you don’t need them. You won’t play with them. You can’t get daily wins from playing with them, and you need those wins to get the coins to get the cards to build more decks. It literally disincentivizes even playing with friends at all.

    This is creating a really toxic environment throughout the game that is steadily driving away both free-to-play and paying players. I've personally spent quite a bit on this game already, and this may be my last "season" as over the 4 months of playing, nearly every night I have finished my session frustrated and angry. And not because I feel like I'm "bad" at the game, but because I've had to spend a Lot of time grinding out a final few wins. I have spent Hours getting two wins, and it's simply because the draw didn't favor me. My aggro deck didn't get off the ground fast enough, or the other person drew a lucky card and was able to turn the tables once I was out of gas. For Play queue, there really isn't another answer other than queue back up and hope you have a better hand. I started out four months ago, and at the time I talked to a few friends to play this with them. Most of them dropped it within a week, citing the 15 daily wins as too much of a problem. I'm a stubborn person, so I wanted to keep pushing, I had also spent money and wanted to see some return on my investment. However I am also reaching the end of my rope with this game. 15 wins is just too much, it drives new players away from the game.

    Now, there is a Very simple solution here. 5 Daily wins, then take the rewards from the other 10 and spread them out into a 35 Weekly wins setup. 5 wins will average around an hour a day, which is reasonable for “warming up” and allows for space to do other things, like play with friends or toy with the other queues for a bit. With 35 weekly then, you can be pretty sure you will clear that each week without too much trouble (5 times 7 is 35, so clearing the daily wins will net the weekly rewards by the end of the week.) It’s a very simple change, could be even better if wins against friends counted. Sure some will just trade wins quickly to get the wins out of the way, but most will just take the opportunity to play each other and have fun doing so.

    If you really want to solve this though, I think you could remove the daily wins entirely and do more of a quest board. Every three months you release a new set. Have each of these sets release with a quest board that gives you rewards for playing (and/or) winning with different cards or combinations. Make players explore and truly "master" the sets as they are released. Players have three months to complete as much of the board as they can. This can be as broad as picking certain color themes or specific core cards, and having players win x number of games with them (over three months, so much less pressure) or as specific as having each card in the set have its own quest for winning a handful of games using that card.

    The second option there would be a double hitter, incentivizing creative deck building, diversifying decks being played and removing the incentives for trolling. This game is so close to being a good introduction, its just falling at the finish line.

    The other Big problem is the Wildcard system. What ends up happening is that players build up hundreds of Common, Uncommon and Mythic Rare Wildcards, while having 0 Rare Wildcards. Largely because decks rely Heavily on Rare cards. And what ends up happening is those Mythic Rare drops that are handed to you feel more like a punishment than a reward. What the **** am I going to do with my 30th Mythic Rare Wildcard while I’m still at 5 Rares and need 40 of them for this deck I want?

    Again, simple solutions are present. The simplest would be to remove the current Wildcard system and turn Wildcards into a number value. Common become worth 2, Uncommon 4, Rare 8, and Mythic Rare 16. That number value then can be spent to purchase any card. You can even play with the purchase value, being kinder with buying a Common needing only 1 point, and a Mythic only 8, or meaner with buying a common set to 4 points, and Mythic 32. Or anywhere in between. But with a number value, now every Wildcard is valuable, and those Mythic Drops feel good, because that could be enough to put you over the value of the deck you want to build.

    Further on this note, Why The **** do you not get a Rare or Mythic Rare Wildcard for drafting a 5th copy of a rare card in Limited? That is an absolutely Disgusting practice. When I found out that I wasn't getting Rare and Mythic rare wild cards from rare drafting I nearly quit right on that one. I understand turning Common and Uncommon into "Vault Progress" you get so many of them in draft. But if a player wants to Weaken their chances of winning the draft by Rare drafting, the least you can do is give them an extra wildcard for their efforts. What the **** is wrong with you guys? Do you want a sustainable player base to milk whales or not?

    The behavior of players around the 15 daily wins is turning the Standard Play queues into one of the most toxic queues in the game. 18. Friend Challenges not working after update

    When my friend and I send a challenge to each other we are experiencing multiple different issues everytime. Sometimes one of us will send the challenge but the other can't accept because it says the challenger is offline. Other times one of us is getting stuck on the vs screen with no avatars showing or stuck on the pictured screen that precedes drawing your hand as shown in the screenshot. Have tried reinstalling the app with no success.

19. no card rewards level 70 and above

    unfortunately i did not receive any card rewards level 70 and above. The friend i am playing with, has exactly the same issue on his account.

20. Your game is full of hackers and modders

    I’ve said it before I’ll say it again. This game is minimizable and crossplatform meaning people who are playing on pc or phones are using third party apps. No one can prove it and only you can I’m not putting a single cent into this game until it’s fixed. In reality which this is no one is allowed to cheat. So why am I being dealt this problem on a daily basis? In tournaments they would be banned for life for committing to those actions, mind you in reality people do cheat but that is the circumstances they’d be dealt with. You cant say there isn’t cheaters because I’ve been dealt with many different problems that do reoccur. Duplicated cards at hand as soon as the timer fuse runs down even a mm. Cards that could have been played earlier on in the game “but they decided not to” like cmon man. That’s not even the beginning. There are players destroying cards without using destroy card abilities or exile abilities. There are players making me skip my turns without even using time warp cards. There are players cheating you can’t say that doesn’t sound fishy. Because when in reality I could play the same decks as them and I’d never get those kind of hands maybe .0004% of the time I would but it’s not every game like most of these so called “lucky” players get. **** I’ve even come across a couple people using the same deck as me LURRUS companion and using cards that are waaaaaaaaaaay over 2 cmc and bringing them back to the field like cmon if that isn’t enough proof for you to check into the servers and fix the root of everyone’s problem then I’m gonna quit. Well wouldnt that be a waste of 200$ I put into the game just he move an inch up the ladder. Like I know there are a lot of good players out but I could pick and see who the real players are to these cheaters who claim to be “competitive” like the players who actually put a pretty penny into the game. I love this game I’ve played it since I was a kid don’t let these players ruin it for others because I’ve had 4 friends who quit already because of it. And people claim it’s algorithm when clearly it’s not. Those are the very people that claim people aren’t cheating in the game and they say “git gud” like I’m 2-3 weeks into the game I’m new as **** to this app but I put money down to get the cards I need to win the games legitimately. Makes me wonder if half these players who do cheat put anything into the contribution of Mtga growth. I don’t wanna have to deal with this every game. The reason I put this into bugs is because this bugs the **** out of me when I do everything to get to where I am in the games ranking for historic. Oh and for your information lurrus can only be used if people have non land permanent cards that are 2cmc or lower. This alone proves that players are cheating to gain ranks. Please don’t get rid of lurrus either I just spent nearly 200$ to create my lurrus deck.
