1. A way to review owned alternate arts please.

   As an example today I got Rhythm of the Wild from a TMNT pack. As I am a new player and play in Standard with cards I'm familiar with so far I don't dabble much in Historic. The new deck builder defaults to standard, so it was kind of hard to find this card I owned and wanted to play. I'm sure there are others I might have forgotten in winning styles from Midweek Magic, opening them in a pack, or purchasing them when they were on sale in the store.

   These are cards I would potentially spend my wildcards on if I felt like playing a fancy version of deck built around playing what I own, or even just neat to look at. It seems like an obvious addition to the game because it would inspire players to build new decks and try different game play styles.

   I don't like that I have to log in with my email and password every month it's very annoying and your user experience suggests to me that you're not even an application but a ****** product that I use where I'm guaranteed to struggle with remembering my password and using it every time I have to login. Why even have an app if I'm not logged in every time that I open it I might as well use the browser version of what your magic the gathering arena does. I also struggle with being in the middle of a match in magic the gathering arena and my internet cuts out and I can't click anything or move forward with an action that I was planning to make. There must be some streamlined way to keep my match running in the background while I'm trying to execute and finish the match itself. The general impression I have is that your application called magic the gathering arena is half-assed half thought through and not solving the problems that I'm experiencing. Every single app out there nowadays has a an experience where I click the icon on my phone and then I can just use the services inside of the applic. How can a Hasbro owned company not give an experience like that when you're a billion-dollar company it's very frustrating. Because of the login issues and the connectivity during matches I'm forced to uninstall your app and abate any future purchase of packs or whatever you want me to buy. I would love to support your company and I love playing your games but because the magic The gathering arena user experience is so poor I'm forced to not use your app or website experience. I have no choice but to ignore you as a company in an entity for months at a time until I hope that one day I will log in with my username and email and be first of all given the correct auto saved password to enter and then secondly kept logged in each time that I want to play the game. I've already waited 7 months from the middle of 2025 for you guys to figure your s*** out but you still haven't and I don't like that. Please do some update that will fix the login experience of your application because for some reason you stand out compared to every application that I use in my life as a horrible experience to the point that I'm not willing to play games in arena because it's so frustrating. Another thing you have to fix is the companion versus arena application requires separate logins so every time that I want to leave one application and use the other I must also log in why can't you just connect the login experience between the two applications. The value is very high of what you're offering but you're execution is very very poor and I do not wish to give you any money or any more feedback until you fix your simple login issues. What will it take for someone to get their s*** together to fix the login experience for magic The gathering arena it's way too much and I don't appreciate it. You're investing so heavily in making an application experience for people but you're forgetting a really crucial primary unavoidable point of interaction with your application. P let me log in once and never think about logging again The last thing that I wish to do is access my saved Google password copy and paste it out of my browser and paste it into the application password field every single time that I want to use your application.

3. Draft crashing repeatedly

   After installing the latest update on my android device, I entered a draft. As soon as the draft started, the app crashed. I restarted the app and it crashed again. I cleared my cached and restarted again and this fixed the problem but only after I missed an entire pack of the draft. Please refund my gems.

4. crash

   During two of my cube drafts the game has crashed on PC while in a draft. Specifically this happens when you are dragging a card in the pack to be placed in the deck area and the timer runs out. When that happens the game picks a random card and freezes up. It then gives you a "unexpected pick error" and the game closes out. This has happened twice accross two drafts so it should be reproducible.

5. Store Error

   I bought "NEW" Arcade Styles of TMNT 4 card pack for 8000 Gold from store on March 4th. It took my gold and removed it from store BUT I did not get them. I own the physical card of one of them. Either way I do not see this style listed in my library. Please issue my 8000 gold back or fix issue. Thank you. I play on PC and Mobile.

6. Bug

   The recent season that ended, I had logged in for rewards and finished in Diamond. At reset the game put me back to Gold 3 for the new season which is fine. I play a game or two in the new season and closed my game out. I logged back in when I got home on my pc and the system put me all the way down into silver singed of keeping me in gold. How can I justify this or get compensation for now having to grind back up to where I initially was?

7. Traditional Draft Strixhaven Missing First Pick

   I was playing Traditional Draft for Secrets of Strixhaven, and I had selected my first pick but not confirmed it. I switched to another tab and when I switched back, I was on my third pick, with only one card in my pool. My first pick was gone and did not appear even after the draft. Checking my draft logs confirms the same, that I did not take a card in the first pack. I am not sure what the cause of this missing card and auto pick of my second pick was.

8. week 3 of client stuck on "waiting for server" spiel

   issue:
as per title, after ANY and EVERY match (regardless of type, ranked, unranked, event) the client gets stuck on the good ol' Bu ll sh it "waiting for server" screen. (henceforth WFS)
game sounds still perform regularly (quests, rewards, yada, yada...)
   ONLY difference with regular client behavior (aside the whole step-sister thing):
the loading circle of WFS appears to be double stacked (background greyed out instead of black) and the background wears off when the WFS screen should fu ck of f.
   expected behavior:
WFS regularly wears off, or better still doesn't show at all (we all know it doesn't take 1-5s to load a main screen after a card game)

9. draft bug

   Dear Support,
   in a Premier Draft i encountered a Bug, which derailed the draft completly.

   Durning the Edn of Pack one i tried to pick a Formidable Speaker. I saw that thecoloring when you select a card didnt appear correctly. Then after some fast clicks after another an error mesage appeared, which i clicked away as i still was panic clicking. Then I got the Window "Wating for the Server..." Nothing happened. When force quit the programm and logged in again... the draft was already in its last picks. Including the Message it took all bout 30 Minutes and the entry fee.
   (edit: the attached log was after restarting MTGA, i'm not sure if that is relevant)

   The last time i reported a bug i got a entierly different layout. Did something change?

12. Card images not loading and extreme performamce issues

    I joined a Power Cube Draft and experienced issues with rendering. ard visuals and performance.

    Cards would only display the frame and background, except for alternate treatments which displayed more detail.

    Between draft picks, my client would freeze for ~15 seconds and play the "card sliding into frame" sound consecutively the whole time. This prevented me from picking cards, which I couldn't see, for the latter portion of the pack. When the draft was complete, it took me multiple minutes to load the deck construction view, and interacting with it cause my client to freeze.

    I'll attach some screenshots here. I attempted to capture logs but I don't see them on my device.

    I plan on un installing and re installing, but I'd really like to get a refund for the draft if possible.

13. Hare Apparent, and "any number of cards named .." cards should be banned in Mid Week Magic Events.

    We've all been there. Excited to try out a new format, and then you're just matched with one of THOSE decks. Hare Apparent is currently the worst offender because it's easily obtainable in Foundations

    "a deck can have any number of cards named ..." should be banned from Mid Week Magic, because nobody is happy to see how their new deck pairs up against the kid who couldn't be bothered to do their homework, or research anything, and throws out the hare minimum to get by. Sure it's interesting to face it at other casual times as a rare challenge, but because every player wants to complete Mid Week Magic to obtain the rewards, it's just frustrating.

    Also it's just a bad look for Magic The Gathering in general if the people you're paired against are people who are choosing the use the laziest strategy to win and move on. Why would I continue to play this game if nobody seems to be in it for the fun?

14. Lower the cost of entry or give use bad match protection.

    Entering the events for in game gold is too expensive, considering the amount that new players have access to and how quickly you get rolled 3 for 3 losses (which has happened to me every time, despite running a deck that has got me to plat) you cant join back for days or even weeks depending on how often you actually play.

    it's a bad experience, it makes me not want to play or invest in the game, to the point that I've been actively checking out other TCGs for a better experience and have been dithering about whether to ditch MTG entierly for those.

    Because of how obfuscated the actual ways to enter and play are, it also feels like there is little or nothing to do.

    In short either, give us more gold or lower the cost of entry to events for that gold. (**** if you gave 50 gold for every match (that people actually played) though it'd take awhile, it'd at least make you feel like you were being rewarded instead of being punished for being new.

    It makes players feel awful, I'd argue to say it feels like you dont respect my time, and if you arnt willing to do that, why would i open my wallet and spend money?

15. Issue with shuffling and mulligan system in SoS

    I played 4 drafts in the new expansion (for a total of 24 matches) and in none of them I managed to have an opening hand with more than 2 lands. I have performed mulligans each time I had only 2 lands in my opening hand or after the first mulligan (if I still had only 2 lands) and I was never able to have a hand with more than 2 lands in it, except for 2 times (and still not the 1st drawn hand).
    I've been playing drafts for years, building decks always the same way, with 16-17 lands on 41-42 cards, and never had this issue, but with the new expansions it's literally impossible to have more than 2 lands in my opening hand.
    There's clearly an issue with the shuffling system or the draw/mulligan system (if I'm not wrong the game draws 2 hands at the beginning and shows me the "best" one). I also noticed a lot of players are having issue with their lands (this makes me think that they might be impacted by the same problem as me).
    Is it possible that there's a problem with the selection of the "best" hand that is shown to me at the beginning of the match?
    Statistically speaking, it's nearly impossible that none of my starting hands ever had more than 2 lands.
    I bought a 52€ pack of draft/sealed tokens to play, and I'm wasting all of them because of this bug.

16. Balance de economía comodines/ Wildcards economy balance (english/spanish)

    English:
    I am writing to express my strong disagreement with the commercial and management policies that the corporation has implemented for some time now. I consider the mandatory investment of mythic and rare wildcards in cards that have reprints at lower rarities in other physical formats or editions to be a systematic abuse. Furthermore, the drastic alteration of power levels within formats without equitable compensation for users is deeply concerning.

    Below is a comparative analysis of the current state of the formats:
    - Timeless: Initially conceived as a format with a power level similar to Modern (the Counterspell environment), it has evolved into an ecosystem akin to Vintage, or perhaps even beyond, given the lack of effective restrictions on cards such as Strip Mine, among others (I propose the addition of Wasteland).
    - Historic: Originally the highest-level format on the platform, it is currently perceived as an undefined blend between Modern and Pioneer.
    - Pioneer (formerly Explorer): Perceived as a transitional format with purely commercial ends, where users were "forced" to spend wildcards on cards that lack utility in the current meta game.
    - Alchemy: A format designed exclusively to house its own digital mechanics and cards—or at least, that is how it should be.

    Restructuring Proposal
    In order to balance the game's economy and respect the investment (time and money) of the players, I propose the following measures:
    - Segregation of Alchemy: Prohibit the use of Alchemy cards in any format that is not strictly its own.
    - Wildcard Restitution: Refund mythic and rare wildcards spent (while allowing users to keep cards obtained from packs) in cases where the card's original edition, or at least one of its physical versions, is common or uncommon. In these instances, the lower-rarity version should be provided for free.
    - Regulation of Rarities for Commercial Purposes: The inclusion of cards whose only means of acquisition is through rare or mythic wildcards, when said cards have historical editions at lower rarities, shall be considered an abusive practice.
    - Acquisition Alternatives: When a card is implemented solely via a special illustration, the system must mandatorily provide a standard version without alternative art, with a wildcard cost that is lower and consistent with its rarity in other editions.
    - Unification of Ban List Criteria: Synchronize ban lists proportionally with their reference formats in tabletop play.

    Incentives and Sustainability for the Corporation
    Understanding that a financial equilibrium must exist, this proposal includes advantages for the company:

    This game is complete ********.

    I've played enough matches to know the difference between bad luck and a rigged system, and this is absolutely not normal randomness. The game is clearly manipulated.

    Every single time my opponent has powerful creatures, the removal cards in my deck magically never show up. Every time my opponent relies on enchantments, the cards I have specifically to destroy enchantments suddenly disappear from my draws. The odds of drawing some of these cards are around 20%, yet they consistently fail to appear exactly when I need them most.

    Meanwhile, my opponents always seem to top-deck the perfect answer at the perfect moment. Over and over again. It's the same pattern every day.

    Don't insult players by calling this "random." Anyone who has played enough games can see what's happening. The draws feel engineered to create artificial outcomes rather than fair competition.

    I'm sick of wasting my time on a game that feels more like a casino than a strategy game. The entire experience has become frustrating, predictable, and completely unenjoyable.

    I'm done with this garbage. I'm quitting Magic because I'm tired of playing a game that feels rigged instead of rewarding skill and deck building.

    Title: Proposal: Optional “Timed Queue” (Chess Clock Mode) for MTG Arena

    I’d like to propose an optional game mode in MTG Arena called “Timed Queue”, designed for players who prefer a consistent and efficient pace of play. This mode would use a shared time system (similar to a chess clock) to reduce intentional slow play while leaving existing formats unchanged.

    Core Concept
    Timed Queue would be an opt-in playlist where each player has a shared total time bank for the entire match.

    Each player receives ~5 minutes total match time
    All actions draw from that player’s clock
    When a player’s time reaches zero, they lose (or auto-pass priority)

    This ensures players are accountable for their pace without impacting others.

    Key Benefits

    Eliminates repeated roping: Prevents players from stalling turn after turn without consequence
    Improves overall experience: Appeals to players who value efficient, respectful gameplay
    Encourages skill expression: Rewards game knowledge and decisiveness
    Fully optional: Does not affect new or casual players in standard queues

    Anti-Abuse Safeguards

    Track clock expirations (when a player runs out of time)
    Repeated expirations within a short window trigger a temporary lockout from Timed Queue
    Players are redirected to standard queues during cooldown

    This targets repeat behavior without punishing occasional disconnects.

    Optional Enhancements

    Small time increment per action (e.g., +2–3 seconds) to smooth gameplay

19. Let Me Finish My Combo!

    Magic: The Gathering Arena is at its best when I’m building toward a combo or setting up a big turn—but right now, that experience gets cut off constantly in a way that’s honestly really frustrating.

    When my opponent concedes, the match ends immediately. I get why conceding exists, and I’m not asking for that to change. But the current system routinely kills the most satisfying part of the game: actually executing what I spent multiple turns setting up.

    I can’t count how many times I’ve been one turn away—sometimes literally at untap—from finishing a combo or completing a specific win condition, only for my opponent to concede and the game just… ends. No payoff, no resolution, just a forced stop right before the finish line.

    It’s even worse with quests. If I’m working on something like attacking with a large number of creatures, I’ll build my board up so I can complete it in one swing. But if my opponent concedes right before I declare attackers, I get the win but zero progress. I had everything in place and was fully able to complete the objective, but I get denied because the game doesn’t let me take that last step.

    Proposed Solution: Post-Concession “Finish Phase”
    At minimum, I want the option to finish what I’ve already set up:

    Let me complete the current turn (or allow up to one additional turn) after a concession
    Set the conceding player to auto-pass all actions

    I’m not asking for an advantage over other players. I’m asking for the chance to actually play out the turn I’ve already earned.

    Right now, the game consistently cuts me off at the exact moment it should feel the most rewarding. That’s not just a minor annoyance—it actively undermines combo play and makes certain quests feel unreliable or punishing to pursue.

    This feels like a straightforward quality-of-life fix that would go a long way toward making the game feel less frustrating and more satisfying to play.

20. Color Masteries Achievements No Longer Being Awarded

    I don’t know why achievements in the color masteries are not being awarded anymore. I had just gotten another one some days back, but either later that day, or the very next day (I can’t remember), I decided I wanted to try and get the last one I needed to complete the one for Green. I worked towards that until I succeeded, at which point it was not awarded.

    I originally thought even though it had previously come up right when I’ve successfully accomplished it, that maybe I now needed to wait for the match to fully end. However once the match ended, the achievement didn’t come up then either. I thought maybe I needed to exit the app and then come back into it, again even though I never had to previously, and again that did not do anything to make it register.

    It’s quite frustrating given how many times you don’t get the right cards at the right time or you do but your creatures are killed before you can accomplish it. I then managed to complete the same challenge of Turbo Mana, again, using the same starter deck in the starter deck duel. In fact, I was able to do it for two different, well the same creature just two of them that were 6 mana, while only having three lands and play. Considering the fact it had already not awarded it previously, I did screen record the whole thing, and I do have screenshots that show I have two of the same creature that costs 6 mana, while only having three lands in play.

    I originally thought maybe it was a problem with that specific achievement. That is until I successfully accomplished another one today under white that also was not awarded. And that was the Going Wide challenge. I had a feeling that my opponent was just going to concede before I’d be able to get all 15 attacking, so I did attack with one that was a 0/5, but I don’t believe that makes any difference, since Cards that have benefits when casting it, only if you’ve attacked that turn give you those benefits if you’ve attacked even with a 0/5.

    I’ve also seen other people report that they’ve had this issue as well. One of the things I’ve seen in common is that a lot of people are reporting it’s with the starter decks, and with the color masteries. I know I’ve completed a lot of of them using the starter deck previously with not issue, so I don’t know why all of a sudden it would cause that problem where it doesn’t register. I don’t know if this is an iOS problem because I am playing on iOS, or if it’s happening on different platforms as well. Previously, I’ve always had the most up-to-date version of the app. However, today with the going wide challenge I did not because it would not let me update it, so I had to hit cancel in order to be able to play. I don’t know if that affected that specific achievement or not, though I don’t imagine it did, since it seems people are having problems with their efforts and achievements being rewarded for quite a number of different ones that I’ve seen listed, and like I said, my problems occurred with Turbo Mana while it was up-to-date.

    I have to say, it’s getting really frustrating to put time and effort into accomplishing these achievements which while some of them are not terribly difficult, getting the cards at the right time and not having them interfered with by your opponent is really what the challenging part can be, and I sometimes will have to do it repeatedly only to get it, but now only for it not to be awarded, and at times that can get quite infuriating. I have reported this directly to you on the @wizards_help page, I think is the handle, on X, and have not received any information or comment back. I know that there’s a lot to work on that keeps you guys really busy, but it would be really great if our concerns could be addressed in some way so we don’t feel like we’re talking to nobody/not being heard. Even some announcement that you’re now aware of it and working on a fix for it. Anything that lets us know maybe don’t put the time and effort into something at the current moment, bc if all you’re seeking is the completion of the achievement, you won’t get it — that would be great.
