How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Your matchmaking is ********.

    Matchmaking and shuffler in draft is trash. Mirror matches happen FAR TO FREQUENTLY for it to be random! Also, there is rampant hacking and draw fixing in draft, people are drawing perfect answers at a rate that is, again, far too consistent to be random.

  2. Alchemy what garbage.

    FIX the shuffler.

    Get rid of Alchemy(and If I'm not playing in Alchemy I don't want to see those fake cards in ANY of my other decks.)

    Get rid of those bs Arena cards.

    Arena is abomination of Magic in its current state. And you wonder why you can't get more Arena players LOL.

    The latest running Joke. "If you want to learn how to play magic completely wrong go play arena."

  3. Have spent hundreds of dollars this month...

    FIX your shuffler and the RNG. Some of the things that are happening are not statistically possible. You're losing customers daily. I've spent thousands of dollars on this game and will not spend another cent until you FIX IT.

  4. Mana Problem

    Hey guys i wanted to write just to please recommend working on your shuffler. Its always super maddening when you loose a game when ypu got stuck on your second mana for the rest of the game or when you get mana after mana after mana. I feel like theres something very wrong with the mana distribution. I get games with 19 mana decks where i get more mana draws than a 25 mana deck. Explain how in real life that would happen, not even if your a bad shuffler youll grt 4 or 5 straight mana draws in…

  5. why do I get put against the perfect counter every game in unranked?

    every game in unranked is against something that has the perfect response immediately, even the decks that are over 100 cards? Garbage game is rigged so hard at this point it is not even enjoyable, when will wizards address the extremely sorry state that their matchmaker and shuffler is in?

  6. shuffle

    I'm not sure if the Magic Arena shuffler is random. Nearly every round I play against someone they draw 3 or 4 copies of a removal card or a key card in their deck. It's so consistent that this can't be random.

  7. Random

    Use a random shuffler. Share your algorithm. What ever you are proclaiming to use to shuffle these deck is not shuffling them and that is BLATANT. It is obviously not a failure of design, it is designed to fail. Stop stealing from people.

  8. Mana ***** / Mana Flood emote

    I guess the shuffler is fine, but I sometimes win due to an opponent flooding or getting mana-screwed. Sometimes I'm the one stuck on no or all lands for 5 turns.

    I wish I could emote this issue and that my opponent could answer "sorry!" as a respone.

    We're not really playing magic when this happens, we're giving away a win due to the fickle whims of the RNG.
    I wish to emote this, to convey my frustration or express my sympathy.

  9. Floods and droughts

    I am sick of your shuffler, I only play to get gold to play draft (level playing field and no meta). It's rubbish that I lose 3 times more games to your shuffler than to bring outplayed by other players. Don't get me wrong I am happy to lose when I'm outplayed and if the right cards don't appear, that's the joy of the game. What isn't a joy is losing to the **** algorithm.

  10. what were you thinking

    Seriously what the **** were you guys thinking with the shuffler? 10 games now best of 3 and first have to mulligan 2-3 times to get 2 lands then second game first 15 cards are just land, Do you guys hate deck crafters or something? First off you are making the game design for short games which is boring , and then add the messed up shuffler..no wonder players are leaving this game. fix the **** or you will find yourselves looking for a new job and MTG was a great game but what it's degenerated too is…

  11. Rigged

    WOTC needs to fix their match pairing, I could build a brand new list that I just crafted, and get paired against an anti list that will win every game. No matter the scheme I choose this happens. It’s obvious the shuffler is designed to create “interesting” game swings, and the match pairings favor anyone streaming to an audience. This is clearly game manipulation and when there is money on the line for tournaments, that is the epitome of illegal.

  12. Algorithm Improvement

    I'm sure you're getting a lot of complaints about how one-sided your algorithm is not being impartial and often times screwing over players with land draws that should not be happening in a purely random sample - so my complaint can be added to that pile.

    But, an idea for changing the algorithm to improve randomization would be having the program assign a number to each card remaining in a deck and pile shuffling the cards into X amount of piles (let's say 6). It can repeat this process Y amount of times then take the middle of the pile…

  13. Land ***** is a pain, fix or give back gems if we can prove we got mana screwed!

    There should be an option to submit that you lost because you drew 8 lands in a row in a game that is supposedly a great random shuffler...all lies! You need to fix this, this isn't fun and it is a waste of gems. Give back the gems!

  14. Land ***** is really annoying, can we fix that? Maybe put in an automatic fetch a land each turn?

    Can you put in a 'fetch a land each turn' mechanic? Would really help to combat how bad the shuffler is at giving land. It either droughts you at the start, or floods you when you have no cards in hand...it is really bad.

  15. Algorithmic interference

    Remove the hand smoothing, randomize the shuffler. Barring that, people should be able to see what’s going on under the hood so they can determine if it’s actually worth spending time and money on the product.

  16. Land ***** is a real problem

    Your shuffler is biased and broken. If I hav e no lands in play, I draw no lands. If I have 18 lands in play, I will 10 more straight...and I only have 5 lands in the deck....soooo...not sure how that's happening...but yeah, it is a problem and needs to be fixed....

    stop cheating
    Stop forcing the game to cheat and rig the shuffler just because you want some fat neckbeard cuck to play and dump his wallet into this steaming pile of *. I hope your CEO goes to prison and all the employees and fat **** pumping money into this game all die broke with cancer.

  18. shuffle

    Shuffler needs to be better randomized. I can't tell you how many times, since today's maintenance, that after 12+ cards half of them are land cards. Especially considering I only have 18 in my deck. One game I literally had 15 lands in my first 20 cards!!! How is that possible with 18 lands? How is it possible that the game actually lasted that long? (well, that's a known... the deck I was playing against sucked).

    There HAS to be a better randomizing program out there. This stuff happens far, far too often to be 'normal'.

  19. random disconnects

    had a few random disconnects in the middle of the game, and when I finally get reconnected any progress on dailies is gone. You really should fix the bugs and the shuffler then you wouldn't have to start down a path to kill your game.

  20. Seven Lands Are Forced!

    Regardless of how many lands you have in your deck, the shuffler just decides that you'll either draw 2 lands for the whole game or you're drawing 7-10 within your top 15 cards. How is this not broken? You're literally breaking a core part of the gameplay: deck building. Arena is such a joke now.
