How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Error Updating Data

    Until Jan 25, I just played the game on a PC completely normally, everything was OK. after the scheduled maintenance on Jan 26, when I launched the MTGA, then there's the problem: Error Updating Data.
    I've done those things trying to solve the problem, but not worked at all:
    1- Complete uninstallation and reinstallation
    2-Try steam, epic and MTGAInstaller.exe version, all meet the same problem
    3-Turn off firewalls and antivirus software
    4-try a US-VPN
    5-try another network via my phone hotspot
    6-restart computer after all other try

  2. Tutorial Spark

    As of 2024-01-22, the tutorial spark is showing up on the home screen every time I access it - just logging in, moving from other screens, and after a match. Any time I come to the home screen, I hear"Congratulations on completing spark rank..."

    I don't know if it's a bug or a 'feature', but I would LOVE to disable this spark forever after the tutorial is done. Nothin against the spark, I've got 10+ years in the game - I'm all good.

  3. Ranked

    I can't play ranked games. Whenever I click on the icon to play a ranked game the only options made available to me are non ranked "play" games. This is a new bug I have only experienced since the last update for android.

  5. Can spark PLEASE STFU??

    Spark continues to "educate" me about my limited and constructed rank EVERY TIME I go into profile, it's incredibly irritating.

    Please fix before I lose it, spark is almost as bad as clippy.

  6. Land

    I'm in a sealed deck tournament right now and I switched my deck around trying to find a format that works but it won't allow me to select any basic Land so now I have a deck that's unusable because I can't select any lands please fix the land filter doesn't work it only filters to battles this is unacceptable

  8. Can't log in

    No error messages, I put in my password, it goes back to the loading screen, gets as far as 'initializing localization database' then back to the login screen asking for my password again. The password still works to log in to this site so I assume it's a bug with Arena specifically?

  9. Tutorial Voice Lines Repeat Indefinitely

    After completing the tutorial and color challenges, Spark is permanently stuck on the home screen. Every time I go to the home screen (start of program, click to it, or finish a match) it repeats the voice line "wow, you've beaten all of the color challenges"

    Please consider adding a 'disable spark' or 'disable tutorial' option while this is being worked on

  10. Audio

    The magic app on IPhone used to let me play music overtop of the app, it no longer does since updating today. Please fix this as I like to listen to other music/podcasts/audio while playing magic.

  11. MacBook Pro m1 Pro 16" issues

    Arena client minimizes itself when going from main menu into a match as well as when switching from searching for opponent to starting match. There are a few other times where it exits out of full screen and minimizes itself, but I can't recall them at the moment.

    Only have one resolution option in Graphics options of Settings menu in match.

    Arena client will not load past black screen if opened by clicking Arena icon, can only play game if launched through Epic Game Store.

  12. Resolution on MacBook

    After the latest Update to Crimson Vow the resoultion on a MacBook Air is a mess. I can suddenly only choose one resolution and the windows is ether tiny in window mode or when I choose fullscreen mode on the left and right side there is some space missing so I cannot see the pets and the whole cards on the stack - which makes it not possible to play the game. Before the latest update all was working. (macBook Air 2020)

  13. Game client does not close on exit.

    When I close the game, it freezes and I need to shut it by force through right click - Close window. Otherwise it gets stuck forever. Happened every day since last week.

  14. Error Updating Data: Please check your connection and try again.

    I cannot login to my account on ios, android, or PC. This is extremely disappointing as I have been looking forward to playing KTK limited ever since it was announced. Please fix this!

    The full error message is: "Error Updating Data: Please check your connection and try again."

    Despite this message my internet connection is fine and it is working in every other way. My son has even been able to sign into Arena on his account!

  15. Chandra, Hope's Beacon

    I'm playing on Android.

    When Chandra, Hope's Beacon's +2 is activated, the mana color selection wheel is partly behind the edge of the collapsed card making selecting blue mana impossible.

  17. Abundant Harvest (and feedback)

    The card is currently unplayable. The options, when activated, are "Nonland" and "Nonland Permanent". "Nonland gives you a nonland permanent, and "Nonland Permanent" does not work at all. You cannot choose land.

    Feedback: When choosing to pay for a land to come into the field untapped, please go back to the old UI, not where the option is on the bottom-right side.

  19. won't load past "checking for active matches"

    On my PC (windows current) game will not load beyond "checking for active matches". It appears to update. I have wiped it several times, and reloaded it. I have tried to reload it a number of times over itself. This has been going on for a couple of months. Nothing works.

    I had this problem previously with "Loading Initial Scene", but after a few weeks, it came back and I was able to play. I can't play on my PC.

  20. Défi de couleur, erreure réseau

    Bonjour, je ne peux pas faire le dernier défi de chaque couleur car le jeu m'affiche erreur réseau. Alors que je suis connectée. Je ne peux donc pas débloquer les decks des défis de couleur et les autres mode de jeu. Merci de régler le problème. Je suis sur PC
