How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. FF set Commander Deck do not count as FF cards

    The attached video confirms the phenomenon. It is clearly a glitch.
    I would also like to use these cards in Standard and Alchemy.

    Of the FF collaboration cards, the main ones implemented in MTGA are “Play Booster” and “Starter Kit”, but some “Commander Deck” cards can be created with MTGA wildcards. It is those “Commander Deck” cards that are in question this time.

    Those cards do not belong to any pack and are only available in “Brawl”, ‘Historic’ and “Timeless”.

  2. Set Completionist II achievement not triggering after May 10th update (Reprint Collection Improvements)

    I'm trying to complete Outlaws of Thunder Junction (the standard version; not alchemy), but the achievement won't trigger.

    • In the set collection overview, it shows the set as fully collected (see image)
    • When browsing collection and setting a filter to Collected 1x, 2x, 3x it shows Terror of the Peaks (see image)
    • Typing set:OTJ q<4 yields the same result
    • Opening a Mythic Booster gives me 40 gems (shame about the 1,300 gold, but wanted to be thorough)

    I own 1 copy of TotP from M21 and 3 from OTJ. With the recent update, that now counts as 4 of…

    You guys are taking an unreasonable amount of time to address waystone guidance thunderbond vanguard and its EVERYWHERE! I'm done wasting my time on ladder to play games that are decided on turn 3.

    It's painfully obvious nobody play tested against mobilize before it was released to the public just because it's a digital product and you can take your sweet time balancing it, releasing new sets in the meantime.

    Uninstalling arena for the forseeable future. I don't like the way Alchemy makes me feel at all.

  4. Limited Landscape Missing Card

    Platform: PC (Windows 11)

    to reproduce: draft a special-treatment Crystal Quarry in a EoE Alchemy Premier event. Put quarry in deck. View deck in landcape orientation.

    expected result: a Crystal Quarry shows up in the visual layout on the bottom of the screen
    Actual result: Crystal Quarry didn't appear; land count showed 17 lands but only 16 appear.

    Additionally, this bug failed to post the first several attempts.

  5. Game is not fun anymore

    This game is not fun anymore. I enjoyed it for a while until something happened in these last few months. Everyone plays the exact same decks with the same cards which cost a fortune and are annoying and awful. They basically just stop people from playing anything for enough rounds until they have enough mana to play a wipeout spell. It is extremely frustrating and not at all what this game is supposed to be, or has ever been, paper or otherwise. The new expansions haven't helped. Alchemy hasn't helped. Now Historic is going by the wayside.

  6. Decks with sideboards not available when starting bo1 game

    Steps to reproduce
    1. Create a best of 3 deck with a sideboard.
    2. Attempt to start a best of 1 game with it.
    Actual Results: It doesn't show up as an available deck.
    Expected Results: It should show up as an available deck. (In game, the sideboard that shows up should be the seven cards in the best of 1 portion of the sideboard.)

    Note: This problem shows up for most best of 3 decks, but some of them still work correctly. I've attached one of the decks that has this problem. It's an alchemy best of 3 deck.

  7. Heist

    Heist should be banned or modified for several reasons:

    -Heisted cards do not count against hand total.
    -cannot see what was heisted
    -overpowered cards:

    Grave Expectations - 1 mana to steal a hidden card at no discard cost

    Triumphant Getaway - 4 mana to steal 2 hidden cards, then use any color to cast them and -2 to opponents if used

    Grenzo - completely broken card with ability to cast 1 heisted card for free each turn, and heists upon entering battlefield AND each upkeep.

    Other heist cards like Thieving Aven, Impetuous Lootmonger and Weave the Nightmare are more fair,…

  8. Thought Partition does not properly hide new details.

    The ALCHEMY card Thought Partition revealed two copies of the same card in my hand. Its controller chose to make one of those cards white and perpetually five mana. I then drew a third copy of the same card, and cast one of the copies that was not 5 mana. The arena interface indicated that all the cards in my hand had been revealed except for the one that had been made 5 mana. The correct thing to show was that the remaining copy of the card that wasn't five mana was an unknown card.

  9. Rank up bug

    I was playing in ranked alchemy and was working to unlock silver. I noticed that it seemed my rank was reset from bronze tier 3 to tier 1 then decided to try and rank up. I got to bronze 2 tier but then when I ranked that up it brought me back down to bronze rank 1. I decided to try and rank up once more to see if maybe I missed something and now I’m at silver rank but on teir 4 it seems. I’m playing on mobile. I sadly didn’t really take any photos to attach.

  10. Game frequently abruptly ended by "Waiting on Server".

    Here's an idea! Fix the issue where a game abruptly goes to the "Waiting on Server" screen before returning to main menu! This is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable for a game of this caliber! It's the reason I quit spending money because I frequently get a loss in ranked gameplay due to this stupid "Waiting on Server" bug/issue! How about instead of pumping out new cards and other income generation sources, maybe try fixing this bug because it's been happening for years and for me has gotten far worse recently, since the DFT Alchemy release.   11. rigged piece of garbage

    HOw about you stop rigging the game? I constantly get to go second and draw nothing but opponent top decks every possible perfect answer. I hope your employees all die. 8 games in a row of going second with opponents getting perfect hands. I get good ones but god for ******* bid I get to go first or they don't have every specific response including your gay terrible unbalanced alchemy cards. I hope your employees all die of cancer.

  12. wrong counters for card (Sazh Chocobo)

    Playing in Alchemy Ranked and player had Sazh Chocobo in play with Landfall +1/+1. Player played sorcery to put two lands into play tapped, but the resolve counted 5 +1/+1 instead of two. It was the second time I've experienced bad counter programming. I believe it happens when more than the first land is put into play.

  13. Promising Stairs not counting unlocked rooms appropriately during upkeep

    Promising Stairs did not count the rooms appropriately during my upkeep, delaying the game by an additional turn.
    I had the following unlocked rooms.
    Grand Entryway, Elegant Rotunda, Surgical Suite, Moldering Gym, Defiled Crypt, Cadaver Lab, Central Elevator, and Promising Stairs. These were all unlocked before my upkeep. The game only accounted for 7 differently named unlocked rooms.
    I continued my turn and played Greenhouse as an additional room, bringing the total to 9 different named rooms.
    During my following upkeep, with 9 rooms unlocked, the game only accounted for 8 of them.

  14. Strip mine

    Strip mine should be restricted in timeless, it seing the light on arena is a shame and it not already being restricted is even worse, wasteland would and should be in the format (punish multicolor or fancy land base is good for the format) yet strip mine hits basics and thus with low free interactions and not much nonland fast mana the format is turning into cancer time with a bunch of strategies unable to follow on land destruction from usual midrange sultai decks, frogs, strip, tamiyo, recure strip mine (there's a green creature on 3 mana that get a…

  15. Unable to play an eligible card in a match

    Can someone please explain how I had a lakeside shack, untapped in play, a defend the rider in hand, opponent uses feed the swarm on my leaf-leap guide, and I am unable to use my defend. It wouldn't let me tap and did not show I had any eligible plays. This was an unranked alchemy match

  16. Sorcerous Spyglass

    Sorcerous Spyglass Isn’t stopping triggered abilities of named cards in alchemy. Unless I’m misunderstanding how the card works. I named Dazzling Angel and every new creature entering triggered the player to gain life still.. i also named a second card with another Sorcerous Spyglass (the creature that makes a 1/1 lifelink cat each time they gain life) and it still happened as well. I thought mana abilities were ones triggered when you used mana/tap to make it happen?

    I hope you at WotC and all your employees get cancer. You fat ******* retards cheat with the shuffler by forcing a) alchemy cards into brawl because you need to sell bs cards like Teysa. Cards that have absolutely no real mechanics and are ********. B) By giving opponent perfect draws that would normally not work but under the most stringent criteria.

  19. Gravitic Herald warp effect

    Gravitic Herald, the A25 card, as worded, gives the permanent it seeks the warp ability until end of turn. However that doesn't happen - once the card is warped in it loses the ability, even though its only meant to lose the ability at end of turn. This matters because, as worded, it should be a 1 card combo with Acererak the Archlich, as it bounces itself immediately, and so shouldn't lose the ability. Please fix this or reword the card so it explains how it works - like for example other alchemy cards of this format give a perpetual…

  20. Chittering Skullspeaker counts as a token, but it's a nontoken creature

    I played a MTG Arena Alchemy game where my opponent played a deck using Chittering Skullspeaker and Replicating Horror. My opponent had a only Chittering Skullspeaker on the board and used Replicating Horror three times during the game. My creature was put in the graveyard every time while Chittering Skullspeaker remained on the board. Not anywhere does it say that Chittering Skullspeaker is considered a token creature. In fact, the word "creature" is mentioned on the card three times and there is no mention that it's considered a token creature. So why didn't Chittering Skullspeaker also go to the graveyard…
