   Hallo, ich möchte euch bitten das ihr das spiel vielleicht etwas änderts und anpasst.

   ABER DAS ONLINE SPIEL MTG ARENA IST NICHT SO GUT, AUS EINEM GRUND MAN SPIEL NUR GEGEN ONLINE ANDERE SPIELER!! Im großen und ganzen würde ich es eher bevorzugen vielleicht gegen eine KI oder Computer zu spielen. Da ich jetzt wie es bei mir war bei da arbeit habe ich gespiel das spiel in der pause oder während der warte zeit beim doktor und die online züge von die gegner dauern immer so lange das ich das spiel ausschalten muss und dadurch verliere ich das match weil ich weiter zur arbeit muss oder vom arzt aufgerufen wurde.

   Ich bitte euch wirklich das spiel zu verbessern das es mehr story duele gibt mit der jeweiligen kolletion und duele die auch wichtig sind aber nicht gegen online gegner sind ich würde dadurch und warscheinlich auch viele andere davon sehr profitieren!

   Sonst ist das spiel top mit fast den meisten verfügbaren karten, aber bitte machts nicht alles mit online Matches, DANKE.

   Hello, I would like to ask you to maybe change and adapt the game a bit. BUT THE ONLINE GAME MTG ARENA IS NOT THAT GOOD FOR ONE REASON YOU ONLY PLAY AGAINST OTHER PLAYERS ONLINE!! On the whole, I would prefer to play perhaps against an AI or computer. Since I was now at work, I played the game during the break or while I was waiting at the doctor's and the opponents' online moves always take so long that I have to turn the game off and therefore I lose the match because I have to go on to work or was called by the doctor. I really ask you to improve the game so that there are more story duels with the respective collation and duels that are also important but are not against online opponents. I and probably many others would benefit greatly from this! Otherwise the game is great with almost the most cards available, but please don't do everything with online matches, THANK YOU.

2. Randomizer Rigged

   How is it possible that for the past week, I keep either drawing a ton of lands or none at all? Is this how your game's randomizer works? You charge for gems and then your randomizer just messes up the game. Feels like I'm getting cheated of my money, not even getting my minimal money's worth of just enjoying playing the game.

   I see so many feedbacks and suggestions yet I highly doubt anyone in Wizards reads all these. I would understand if it is just one random game out of the blue, but almost all week I have been experiencing horrible draws, like it would not even be possible in real life.

   Bear in mind that I am OKAY with losing to opponents who play better, smarter or even just draw better. But to have no plays and just constantly skipping my turns is just plain pathetic.

   No point offering an outlet for suggestions if no actions are made. MTGA IS A SCAM!

   Dear MTG Arena Development Team,

   I am writing to request the addition of key cards to MTG Arena to better support the Explorer and Pioneer formats.

   While the recent "Tarkir Dragonstorm" release was exciting, I was disappointed that the Silumgar-themed spells and the Dragon itself were not fully included. As a big fan of the Silumgar brood and the Tarkir lore, I strongly wish to play a dedicated Dimir Dragon Control deck in Pioneer/Explorer.

   Specifically, I am requesting the implementation of:

   Silumgar, the Drifting Death (A core finisher for the deck)

   Silumgar's Scorn (The most crucial counterspell for Dragon-based shells)

   Foul-Tongue Invocation (Essential removal and lifegain for the archetype)

   Adding these would satisfy long-time Tarkir fans and increase deck diversity in the current meta. Please bring the true power of the Dragonlords to the digital battlefield!

4. Unlock Card Styles from Printings

   I'm one of those sickos who likes playing with mismatched cards, and a feature I wish had been in the collection update is the option to mix and match styles, rather than having a style be locked to a specific printing of a card. Right now, there are two printings of each shock land on Arena, and numerous excellent styles, most of which are locked to the Guilds of Ravnica block printing and as such are mutually exclusive. I can't use the old border from the recent holiday sale in the same deck as the clue version or the planet version. I know this is a low priority fix that will only appease a small number of folks, and I can understand if it's more work than it would be worth, but I'd appreciate this feature.

5. My first pick in Lorwyn Eclipsed Premium Draft became a duplicate of one of the next uncommon picks

   Platform: PC
   Event: Lorwyn Eclipsed Premium Draft

   Bug: My first pick in pack 1 of the draft was Mutable Explorer (green rare) selected it, and let the time run out. When the second pack came, the Mutable Explorer became Flock Imposter (white uncommon), and among the cards in the second pick was Flock Imposter as well, positioned in the same place as the previous rare was (topmost left). I ended picking the second Flock Imposter (1st screenshot) but I would have wanted the green rare in my deck since it works much better than a second Flock Imposter. I thought this is just a visual bug like the ones I've seen before but I still have two Flock Imposters even after restarting the client (2nd screenshot). See screenshots provided.

   Steps to replicate: Join Premium Draft, then select your pick (I think it must be positioned on the topmost left) and let the time run out. As it moves to the second pick, your first selection becomes a copy of the topmost left card of your second pack.

6. This product is so utterly bronken it is shocking:

   1. fix the ridiculously poor performance/ui behaviour: 4.3GHz 64GB DDR4 4GB GFX - it's like wading through treacle.
   2. if you're unsure - the animations suck, they take up endless time when trying to build or explore a deck - each click or action takes 30-40s due to ******* animations. people wanna go add, add, remove, scroll, add, remove, scroll - 10secs to do 7 actions for example, quick clicks n moves n selects. bish bash bosh. not ******* 40mins to change 5 cards n build one in a ******* deck.

   my coputer is running full fans overhot and getting slow when it's a ****** 2d card game selection screen. ********.

   1. if a card's already I n deck - how about a ******* hint! i'm clicking like a morn wondering why nothing' happening - ******* tell me!

   2. don't make it so button for craft is smack bang where the screen loads after the natural ******* point to screen to click to click through from selecting a card already one of - that's frankly a ******* criminal scam trick to make people craft a second one of summin they have just to rinse them of things paid for or hard won and waste em crafting more they didn't wanna craft. get ******.

   3. maybe on those ********* picture cards with no rarity symbol a clue of rarity somewhere on screen so I don't have to fake craft one to get the screen up to see rarity only to see I can't afford. what a ******* waste of extra efforts, clicks, screen loads, quit back to previous screen etc. etc and risk of accidental crafting if did have wildcards - just to check rarity.

   4. srsly couldn't come up with a way to display entire ********* deck on one single screen as a pure test list? how the **** can I not manage a quick scrnsht or at a glance when I wanna see whole thing without scrolling or clicking expanders etc. etc.

   5. furthermore - supposedly an export deck option somewhere? 3 ******* days still not found it - maybe don't hide it quite so ******* well if to exists cos jesus ******* christ - ui design basics; intuitive-quick-simple

I am not wotc ******* card nerd - I don't know the entire catalogue by heart in all variations and sub-names. here' s a genius idea - get a real dev who can do basic ******* regex and try a search that can handle name variations and missing apostrophes or common typos or alternate spellings etc. - it's really something a ******* highschool pc ;learner could code and it would be kind!

   12. in game - maybe a slightest tiniest ******* bit of help - we haven't all been playing 30yrs and know every mechanic and game rule and order of play etc. - why is it just doing nothing? why is there just a ******* cancel button and nothing else? why I the ******* timer burning down and terrifying me at loss of turn but there's no hint what I should be doing? why wont let me do something it just allowed me to select - if I can't afford to do that option why tf did it let me select it then sit there blankly with a 'oh, you can't afford it - well I guess i'll let you figure that out tho you cant see or check colour of mana cos i'm blocking it wit overlay?
       it's a continuous blank unhelpful baffling and soul destroying when timer end s losing turns/chance for counterspell/use abilities etc. and you give I help, no clue, no hint, no info - and yet allow actions that are illegal or unaffordable or impossible to be selected and expect us magically know why the thig you let us select then wont work. frankly, ******** for leaving me playing gam after gam only to lose because I had no clue what was going on, ran out of time trying to figure out why I couldn't do what it let me select or wandering why the other guy was just sitting there when it was waiting for me. how hard is a few ******* text items on screen? this aint ******* raytraced 3d moving fps - its 2d cards. SORT IT THE **** OUT - SPOEND SOME ******* DEVELOPMENT NMOENTY YOU STINGY *****.

   13. final word: every single last one of these issue screams 'if we spent an extra decent devs worth of time on putting the effort I t think, test, make usable and perfect - it wouldn't have a single one of these issues. STOP BEING SO ******* GREEDY TI RINSE PEOLE FOR PROFIT RPONTING MY LITTLE PONT CARD SETS AND SPEND A TINY BIT MAKING IT BETTER.

   NOT ASKING FOR COD OR CYBERPUNK - JUST A FUNCTIONING ******* 2D CARD GAM WITH SIMPLE OBVIOUS NECESSITIES.

   ever heard of:
   - playtesting?
   - audience/customer feedback?
   - testing on a range of real world computer environments to see how performance is?
   - asking wtf is wrong from a RANGE of people - new as well as experienced or in house
   - don't just look at it yourselves and go 'works' or 'yup I got it' - remember, you're building for the lowest common knowledge base player, not you experienced wotc staff - do you really not know to ******* design something thinking form pint of view of a user who has never seen or played not from your own ******* pov. legitimately embarrassing. amateur.
   - don't assume. people won t fit assumptions. give info. always. is it that hard, do I really need to tell you? ok, so some people know and yes games require learning, but ******* over new people or making the learning curve steeper than necessary for what? you suck.
   - this is depressing and like teaching a first yr design student who isn't even good or trying - I;m ****** if I;m carrying o because you clearly neither care to try basic ui design effort or to pen even a ******* cent of your precious ******* profits.

   p.s. just had one vain attempt t play another game - also notice: average success in selecting/clicking on cards to ctivate etc./drag - 20-30 clicks. WEIRD IDEA - perhaps make the area that repsonds to clicks bigger than 1px dead center card - seems reasnable even to make entire card sensitive to clicks. it shouldnt be a fight that makes playing a chore requireing physical exertion simply to actually get the game to respond to attempts to selct or move a card etc. - i can think of no reasonable reason why the ui shoudlnt be an eay, pleaant interaction where the mouse poitner can simply be hovered anywhere over a card and it repsonds to a click. i even missed a few turns due to timer burn outt because i ahd such a hard time getting it to recognise my attempts to clcikk a card as a block target or target for counters i lost a game where i was using an eldrazi deck with msotly blue counters a the filler colour cards 50-0. i used ot enjoy playing mtg with cards. this ui is painful and unpleasatn ot the point i'm legitimately considering never ever going near arena again and trying to get all moneys spent refunded.

   my anger is only equalled by the sheer astonishment at the failiure. i mean can;t even get a 2d card game right? wotc cant make a video game verison of mtg? seriously. i find it hard to believe you really tried. smell sso stingly of we took hasbros cahs and just want to suckle on the teat without wasting money on the dedicated fans and paying customers. it's just a crying shame.

   I was playing in the All-Access Brawl Modified Metagame Challenge. My opponent cast a Witherbloom Command with the first and third modes, targeting themselves and my Siren Stormtamer. I sacrificed my Siren Stormtamer to counter the spell, but it still resolved, milling them for 3 and returning a land to their hand. Though a minor interaction, this interaction did contribute to me losing the game.

   Now, I understand that, by sacrificing my Siren Stormtamer, it was no longer on the battlefield, but afaict the Witherbloom Command was still targeting a creature I controlled, as targets are announced on cast, and therefore the spell should have been countered and not resolved.

   I am an incredibly skilled wizard and therefore have no doubt I will still win out the event, but this still feels like an unearned loss—assuming I'm correct on how the rules work.

   Should this come up again: Am I just misunderstanding the rules here, or did the client not behave as it should have?

8. Trying to Undermine Scryfall is to Undermine MTGA

   Disclaimer, I dont use the Gather to look up cards.

   That out of the way, please make it easy for sites like Scryfall, to maintain THEIR database for new releases.

   MTGA, like MTGO is a secondary database. This shouldnt be such a chore to maintain. Here is just ONE example of how product releases didnt happen cleanly and Scryfall's database for MTGA should be more complete but isnt.

   MTGA search: "s:mh2" = 162 MH2 cards.
   Scryfall search: "s:mh2 game:arena" = 17 MH2 cards are shown.
   (//These counts are true as of 24 March 2025)

   MH2 was never released fully for MTGA. Bit by bit, MH2 cards have been added to the client.

   Work with the brilliant people at Scryfall to help to figure out a decent middle ground. Something that is sustainable for all parties.

   (See comment for more details about what utility Scryfall offers that the Gather and WotC cannot do for Magic.)

9. Yu gi oh is basically the simplified version of magic

   "Yu Gi Oh" duel master card game/tv show is basically the same game as Magic. More simplified but the same. Will Wizards of the Coast make a "Arena" digital game just like magic for YU GI OH. Same game engine, just programing in the cards will take forever. Core set and all. Long term big thing that would work. Good for everyone. Fun!! Interactive cards like the old JOKE card set with "Chaos Confetti" as a card. Rip up and scatter on the board. destroy all it touches. With cell phones and touch screens, you can have that easy now. move your finger all over the screen to spread the chunks or other rip up shred variable.. mini machine with spray, you feed in cards. like a wood chipper. Interactive cards?? Digital only/arena. Denim walk is still funny to me. :) Sneak ability is good. abilities with plus OR negative counters is good. will Rampage come back? easy to calculate with cpu and is faster for game players. It's not annoying. it's crowd control for big monsters. Is "Isochron scepter" too dangerous to bring back to arena from old cards? Totally free casting cost, like "Omniscience" blue enchantment is bad/dangerous/Ban maybe.

10. AI Art Winter Avatars

    I understand that A.I. is everywhere and essentially unavoidable. (Heck, I even used it to edit this complaint.) It can be a valuable tool that, when used responsibly, can enhance an artist’s work. However, the winter avatars cross the line from “A.I. assisted” to “A.I. created” for me and the inconsistencies in the artwork make that hard to ignore.

    Issues with Oko:
    -Oko’s belt has metal rivet holes, but the belt’s needle doesn’t pass through a rivet.
    -There are two belt segments with holes, implying two belts, yet only one buckle.
    -The end of the tucked belt can’t be tucked into the buckle as drawn.
    -The belt wraps three times around his left hip but only twice around his right.
    -The belt should end after the rivets, but it continues behind the dagger.
    -Oko’s scarf wrappings don’t follow a coherent structure. Both ends seem to wrap clockwise around his neck.

    Issues with Vivian:
    -Vivian’s belts appear completely flat to the viewer despite her dynamic pose.
    -Her corset’s base leather layer should have a seam that’s missing.
    -The buckles vary in size and shape in ways that look unintentional rather than stylized.
    -The fingers on her right hand are all the same length.

    Individually, any one of the issues above could be dismissed as an artistic choice. Taken together, though, they point to the irresponsible use of generative art. If these avatars are meant to represent handcrafted artwork, the inconsistencies need to be addressed.

    I understand that A.I. is everywhere and essentially unavoidable. (Heck, I even used it to edit this complaint.) It can be a valuable tool that, when used responsibly, can enhance an artist’s work. However, the winter avatars cross the line from “A.I. assisted” to “A.I. created” for me and the inconsistencies in the artwork make that hard to ignore.

    Issues with Oko:
    -Oko’s belt has metal rivet holes, but the belt’s needle doesn’t pass through a rivet.
    -There are two belt segments with holes, implying two belts, yet only one buckle.

11. Food Chain Auto Pass

    During your turn, if you have nothing able to be cast, it auto passes into the next phase. However, with the Food Chain + Squee combo, you have to have full control in these scenarios.

    The scenario came up when I had just a Squee in play with Food Chain, and a Muxus in hand. I attack with Squee first so I can bait them to animate their man land. Then I play the Muxus, play out another goblin from hand, and I have a lethal loop: A goblin that deals damage whenever a creature ETBs. So I am looping Squee, play my last goblin from hand, and then it auto passes to their turn.

    However, I literally had lethal with Squee looping himself with Food Chain, but since I couldn't activate anything other than mana abilities, and I had nothing to cast, the game thought I was done and immediately passed through things.

    Food Chain should definitely work differently since this is how the main combo functions. Hopefully I made this as clear as I could. I don't think we should need to use full control for a situation like this.

12. Black screen (or "Waiting for Server") when trying to access my account

    Dear team,
    since the Jan 13, 2026 - Game Maintenance - Lorwyn Eclipsed Update, I'm having trouble with my account. First it was sudden crashes, which is inconvenient but overall ok. But since Wednesday Jan 14, I cannot access my regular account any more. When I log in, the screen goes black or has a stuck “Waiting for server” wheel. Nothing happens any more.

    I tried all the suggested measures in the Q&A. Nothing helps. Also tried different devices. Same thing.

    However, if I create a new account, this will work and I can play games just fine. Which tells me my device and client are fine. Just my regular account seems not to be able to connect with your server somehow.

    Please take a look into this issue. At the very least, please take a look at my account if the data is still there and uncorrupted. I am very worried that all I built up over the years is just gone now.

13. I can not connect my account to the server => Black screen

14. Underworld Breach/Lotus Petal and Priority

    Today I discovered an unintended bug where a completely won position was lost becasue of priority being automatically passed while I was still able to take game actions.

    Here is an example board state:

    Underworld Breach is played on my side, I have a lotus petal in play and 7 cards in my graveyard, and am tapped out of lands; the cards in my graveyard are 6 lands and a brain freeze.

    As the game works currently, the priority mechanism looks at my boardstate, decides that I cannot cast any spells by cracking my lotus petal to generate one mana, and passes priority. This means that i cannot ***** petal --> replay petal --> ***** petal --> cast brain freeze, unless I hold full control.

    Unfortunately, I did not know this unintended mechanic existed, and lost 2 cube games this way, causing me to lose 2 games which I had won (Breach, petal, brain freeze, with enough cards in yard to loop). I understand that holding full control would stop this occurance, but believe that the system should be smart enough to not pass priority with a breach resolved and a spell I can cast. This cost me real money in the form of gems which I cannot recover.

15. Couldn’t block after a client crash on iPad

    I was playing Sealed Lorwyn and was 6-2, and about to win my 7th game.
    The game took a very long time with a slow opponent. Then his deck ran out, so he did one final desperate attack. All I had to do was block and I’d win, but for some reason my client crashed!
    I opened the client as fast as I could, but once I was back in I couldn’t drag/select any characters to block.
    I tried reopening the client and again it didnt work.

    My opponent had this elf that when it attacks it has to be blocked if able. So The first thing I did was assign one creature to block that elf. Instantly after I did that, the crash occured. Ever since I logged back in, assigning any blocker became impossible.

    I ended up losing the game by running out of time to assign blocks. It felt like the game crashed and couldn’t handle block assigning as soon as that elf attacked… his entire board hit my face and I couldn’t do anything.

    Most frustrating experience I ever had playing… this was a guaranteed win in a paid format, so missing out on gems because of a bug is super frustrating.

16. Game of Thrones / A Song of Ice and Fire

    Hello MTG / Arena team,

    I’d like to share a Universes Beyond request that I believe many players would be excited about: a Game of Thrones / A Song of Ice and Fire crossover.

    Why I think this would be a perfect fit for Magic:

    Strong factions/houses with clear identities (great for color pairs/color combinations)

    Political intrigue, alliances, and power struggles, which fit MTG gameplay and mechanics very well

    Dragons, undead, war, and legendary characters — exactly the kind of fantasy elements Magic players love

    A huge number of iconic characters, locations, and story moments that would translate beautifully into legendary creatures, Sagas, and signature cards

    What would be especially exciting:

    Monarch-style mechanics (Iron Throne / struggle for power)

    Saga cards for major story events

    Dragon and undead synergies

    House/faction themes for deckbuilding and collecting

    I also think this would be a great fit for MTG Arena:

    very high hype potential

    strong appeal for both existing players and returning/new players

    great opportunities for cosmetics, events, and themed experiences

    I understand collaborations like this are complex. But if you’re collecting ideas for future Universes Beyond products:
    Game of Thrones would be a dream crossover for me (and likely for many others).

17. Delighted Halfling mana not being used correctly in combination with Rattleclaw Mystic

    I had a Delighted Halfling and a facedown Rattleclaw Mystic in play. I turned Rattleclaw Mystic face-up (the auto-tap used both of my red sources for some reason which is not the issue I'm reporting but still stupid when I had multiple blue and green sources). I then proceeded to cast Loot, the Pathfinder. I wanted to use Loot's red activation (deal 3 damage), so I tapped my Delighted Halfling to pay for the red mana in Loot's casting cost (so the red from Rattleclaw Mystic would still be available after Loot entered). However, no matter how I tried to do it, Arena was automatically using my generic red mana to pay for Loot's casting cost, leaving the conditional red mana from Delighted Halfling in my mana pool -- this would not be able to pay for Loot's red activated ability.

    I don't understand why this would happen, and it effectively cost me the game -- both because I wasn't able to make the play that I wanted to make (and should have been able to make) and also because I timed out due to repeatedly trying to get the game to work the way it should. Log file is attached. Please fix your game, it's ridiculous that MTGO, an ancient piece of software, can correctly model the rules of Magic, and Magic Arena can't.

18. Please introduce "Slugfest Brawl" for players who hate removal

    It seems like about 50% of the players I face in Brawl throw a tantrum when their creatures get killed. For me, removing creatures is just part of the game; it's a routine occurrence that is integral to Magic, and the more my cards interact with my opponent's cards, the more fun I have, since I find interaction to be the thing I enjoy most about the game. However, whether it's because they are new, or don't understand how Magic works, or are just looking for a different experience, tons of players I face will concede when I kill ONE creature. It doesn't even have to be their commander. One kill spell, sometimes on turn two, and they scoop, with a full life total and a full hand of cards. It makes no sense to me, but my conclusion is that those players would like a format with much less removal, so their creatures can just slug it out. Please introduce such a format, so these players can get what they want and I can stop playing 1-minute games. Make a Brawl variant that only allows 5-10 removal cards in a deck. Or, please find some other way to fix this issue. Removing creatures is, like I said, a core aspect of the game, but it seems like hundreds of Brawl players want to play a version of Magic that doesn't have any removal. Thanks for your time.

19. Permanent Casual / Experimental Play Space to MTG Arena

    Summary

    MTG Arena currently lacks a permanent space that structurally encourages experimentation and casual deckbuilding. While competitive formats work well, players who enjoy brewing non-meta decks have no reliable place to find like-minded opponents.

    The Problem

    In both Standard and Historic — ranked and unranked — matches often feel extremely narrow. Most games are against the same highly optimized decks. This is not necessarily a balance issue; it’s a structural issue.

    There is no dedicated space that encourages experimentation. Players who enjoy brewing archetypes from recent sets, slower synergy-based decks, or “let’s do the thing because it’s fun” strategies struggle to find opponents with similar intentions. Even the unranked queue frequently mirrors the competitive metagame.

    As a result:

    • Many set-specific archetypes never become viable in 60-card play.

    • New releases feel less exciting outside of Draft.

    • Creative deckbuilders feel pushed toward meta decks or away from the format entirely.

    What Could Help

    Here are a few potential directions (not demands, just ideas):

    1) Optional Deck Labels for Unranked Play

    Allow players to tag decks as “Casual” or “Experimental” in unranked queues and match accordingly.

    2) Community-Based Play Spaces

    introducing communities within Arena. For example, I could join a “Casual Players” community with agreed-upon rules. Or someone could create a “Format-X” community with specific deckbuilding restrictions — for example, 60-card decks with a maximum number of mythics and rares, giving commons and uncommons more room to shine and making deckbuilding less expensive. There could be a Pauper community, other experimental formats, and so on.

    Players could join communities and respond to open match requests — similar to direct challenges, but community-wide.

    3) Bringing back a form of the old “Block Format.” Block would mean playing only with cards from a specific set. This could improve the viability of certain strategies and archetypes from new releases.

    Summary

20. tapped land but card didn't work

    Durign the game, i've played a Marang River Regent // Coil and Catch. The lands were tapped but the magic didn't resolved. I just lost a hole turn during the game
