2. Search Bar in Deck Builder

   When I am deck-building on arena the search bar does not work at all, can’t click on it or search within my decks. I have updated my device, deleted the app and reinstalled it. Signed in and out again and nothing has fixed it as of yet.

3. taster of wares bugged

   played Taster of Wares into an empty board, enters triggers seeing one goblin in play (taster) and targets opponent with 1 card in hand, but the game failed to reveal any cards to be exiled to the effect. later in the same game, the card was bounced and i replayed it in the same scenario, same issue occurred. not sure why this issue happened, I haven't ran into issues with this card before.

4. Game lagging/freezing both on Android and Mac

   Since today (28th Jan 2026, 12:00 GMT), when I login, my first interface works well and smoothly, but as soon as I try to access either my decks, store, play menu, everything starts lagging incredibly and freezing.
   I tried on both my Macbook M4 pro (fully updated) as well as on my Android, and the issue persists. I also tried to change my connection from wifi to phone, and still no solution.
   Please help, thanks!

5. Limited games suddenly disconnecting Game was disconnected while I was playing

   Limited games suddenly disconnecting

   Game was disconnected while I was playing

   Game disconnected mid game, looked at a black screen for several minutes. Restarted client still a black screen, restarted one more time and it loaded out of match with a match loss. Can I get reimbursed for that event?

6. Not able to change format on my decks

   In not able to change format on my decks. This is in MacOs, Iphone, Windows 11 and use of steam. The drop down meny is hidden in behind. See attached photo you can see that "standard" selection is written behind. Not able to select anything.

7. Recall Cost Cannot Cast

   When casting cards such as Deception and Melancholy, if you cast them for the recall cost, they will become uncontrollable.
   1. Manually Generate Mana (or Auto-Tap) 2. Cast it for its evoke cost 3. Anything you cast for its evoke cost goes on the stack. 4. Mana is not spent and the card is no longer playable. 5. You cannot do anything until the time limit has expired, and your turn ends.
   Tried solutions: ○ Restart and rejoin the active match → No improvement ○ Repair game files → No improvement Target device ○iPhone Air iOS26.2 ○iPad mini iOS26.2

8. Bug with adept watershaper

   I used Abigale to give a creature flying and lifelink, when in attacked with it I had adept watershaper on the battlefield it didn’t get indestructible even though it was tapped, it cause me to lose the game. There is a bug with one of these two cards. It was during a draft. Id like for my gems to be refunded for the draft

   Thoughts on Rebalancing Non-Digital Cards in Historic and a Proposal for Restrictions and Controlled Unbans

   I’d like to share some constructive feedback regarding the current approach to rebalancing cards in Historic, particularly when it comes to non-digital (printed) cards.

   I’ve been playing Historic on MTG Arena since its very beginning, and a big part of my enjoyment comes from constant deckbuilding and testing. I like exploring the full card pool while still aiming for competitive, well-tuned decks. From that perspective, I genuinely believe Historic is a great format — but also one that could be even better with a few structural changes and a more confident use of the tools that a digital-only environment allows.

   Rebalancing non-digital cards: a solution that adds friction over time

   Digital rebalancing made a lot of sense as an initial experiment, and it still does when applied to Alchemy or fully digital designs. However, over time it has become clear — at least from my experience — that applying rebalances to iconic, non-digital cards creates unnecessary confusion and frustration.

   Cards such as:

   Agent of Treachery

   Orcish Bowmasters

   Teferi, Time Raveler

   Omnath, Locus of Creation

   Alrund’s Epiphany

   The One Ring

   are just a few examples of printed, highly iconic cards that now exist in modified digital versions within Historic. This fragments player expectations, complicates deck evaluation, and makes the format harder to approach and reason about — especially when moving between formats or discussing card power in general.

   I want to stress that these are representative examples, not an exhaustive list. My feedback applies to all non-digital cards that are currently rebalanced in Historic.

   Wizards already took a step in this direction

   Importantly, this isn’t just theoretical. A few months ago, Wizards already moved away from this philosophy by restoring The Meathook Massacre and Fires of Invention to their original versions and handling them through bans instead of rebalances.

   That decision felt like a very positive correction, and to me it strongly suggests that the team already recognizes the long-term issues caused by rebalancing printed cards. My proposal is simply to continue consistently along that same path with the rest of the affected cards.

   A cleaner alternative: original versions, bans, and restrictions

   Rather than rebalancing non-digital cards, I believe Historic would benefit from a clearer and more coherent approach:

   Use original printed versions of non-digital cards.

   Ban cards when they are truly unhealthy for the format.

   Introduce restrictions (1 copy per deck), similar to Timeless, as an intermediate and very powerful tool.

   Restricting a card preserves its identity and excitement while preventing repetitive or broken synergies. It encourages more diverse deckbuilding and avoids the binary “playable vs unplayable” outcome that bans often create.

   Personally, I think this restriction model could be valuable not only for Historic, but potentially as an experimental tool in other formats as well.

   Encouraging controlled unbans and experimentation

   In the same spirit, I’d also like to encourage re-evaluating long-banned cards. Historic has changed dramatically over time, and the card pool now includes many more answers and interaction points than when some bans were originally issued.

   Cards such as:

   Field of the Dead

   Memory Lapse

   Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath

   Veil of Summer

   (and others) could potentially be reintroduced under close monitoring, with the understanding that they can be quickly banned again if they prove problematic.

   The key point is not that all of these cards must remain legal, but that there should be less fear around testing and adjusting.

   Closing thoughts

   Historic is uniquely positioned as a digital-only format. That flexibility is one of its greatest strengths. Leaning into experimentation, being willing to make changes — and even to correct them shortly after if needed — would, in my opinion, bring far more benefits than risks.

   Some issues are inevitable whenever changes are made, but the long-term gains in clarity, consistency, and player trust seem well worth it.

10. Tokens

    This is two fold, but my game stopped spawning tokens at 256 goblins and also there should be a faster way to mass block with tokens or just in general. I timed out on mobile trying to make all the blocks. Combined it cost me the win. I understand there are limits to the software especially mobile but it's just kind of annoying.

11. Fairy

    Every time I come back to the menu from a match or just opening the app, the tutorial fairy will do the “What an adventure! You’re on your way to becoming a great plainswalker. You’ve got a quest. If you complete it, you’ll get a reward. Go here when you’re ready to play again”. It’s been like 3 months of this and I keep hoping to see it patched with every passing update. I am on mobile iOS

    Purchased 4 out of the 5 John Avon Lands from the daily deals. The island disappeared from purchasable items and I'm not able to buy it. I would like to be able to buy that one

    my deck dropdown menu will not let me choose which type of deck im building, (brawl, standard, historic, etc.) the dropdown menu does not work also importing decks has been buggy and are not importing properly

16. New with LE wallpaper lag

    With the release of Lorwyn there is a new wallpaper that is causing tremendous latency issues. The wallpaper looks like a horizontal stone path through the middle. The right side is blue and green. The left side is orange and green. The side shading moves with changes to life totals. It's causing so much lag that it is nearly unplayable. This wallpaper shows up mostly during LE limited events. I don't have any lag issues with any of the other random wallpapers, nor have I ever experienced ANY kind of lag in the past on Arena. Until this is fixed I won't be participating in anymore events.

19. Deck Builder/Editor

    Version: 2026.55.10.11072.1228610
    Platform: Windows(Steam) and Mobile(Android)

    When going to edit an existing deck, you cannot change the minion associated it with, nor can you change the format. The minions simply do not populate, while the format seems to be hidden behind the deck stats and does not allow you to either click or scroll through them. The minions should populate and allow you to select a new option. The format selector should dropdown in front of the stats and allow you to change it after the deck has been created.

    I've had enough. Wizards has to act. Racism by the user Spaderman#48650 must not be tolerated. This must not be a place where it is acceptable to repeatedly call people "worthless slanted-eyed chinks".
