How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Shuffling

    As had been described, the shuffling engine struggles with dealing different card types, against statistical averages. It means that landfall decks suffer compared to other types.

  2. start your engines

    Either player putting a spell with the Start Your Engines mechanic on the stack has regularly caused my game to crash, causing me to lose ranked matches in Standard as well as Premier Draft games

  3. Nalia de'Arnise issues

    Playing Brawl with Nalia as commander. I have an Angel of Unity in play, and play Nalia from the command zone, with both a rogue and a cleric in my hand and do not get the trigger from teh angel to give one of them a +1/+1 counter.

  4. Rofellos not showing up in search

    Hi! The internet suggest that Rofellos is included in the anthologies that released today, but I can’t find him in the card search engine in timeless even with no filters on. Is there something else required to gain the ability to craft him?

  5. Game suddenly ended with "GreError" and a forced draw

    In the middle of a game, after some series of normal-seeming actions, the game suddenly stopped with a server error reading "GreError" (I assume meaning a game rules engine error?) and a forced draw from the server. (The pop-up itself said "Result: Draw", implying that the server had handed out that result after the GRE error.)
    The client continued operating normally as if the match had been drawn (i.e., it showed the "Draw" result, allowed me to inspect the battlefield, returned to the home screen normally, etc.), but the match was obviously immediately stopped by this. (Thankfully a random unranked…

  6. When opponent's "Joshua, Phoenix Dominant" transformed back, my opponent gained control of my own "Joshua"

    Me and my opponent played Joshua, Phoenix Dominant. On his turn, they used its ability to turn it into a Saga Creature. On my turn, I did the same with my own Joshua, Phoenix Dominant. When the last Lore counter was placed on my opponent's Saga, it transformed back to Joshua. But! It also transformed back my Joshua under my opponent's control. I could see any card on their side that could explain how they gained control of my Joshua. I suspect the engine might have consider that it needed to transform all Joshuas and place them under my opponent…

  8. forced draw

    I have had over 5k hp with 50 creatures in play in my angel deck for explorer no issue. I put 70 scute swarm triggers on the stack with 4 prosperous innkeepers and the game force draws?

    I get it no one wants to sit there and wait for the triggers to resolve slowly but instead of "hey our billion dollar company was too cheap to program a speed mode for this corner case we are just gonna force you to draw a not that complicated board state"

    Seriously?

    I promise the game engine can handle calculating the final board…

  9. patterns in your shuffler

    Since I have been able to see and reverse engineer patterns in your shuffler, If I exploit those would that get me banned, or would it be considered the same thing as exploiting hand smoothing?

  10. ugin's nexus

    1) Have Ugin's nexus in hand with 10+ mana on the field thru 9 lands, Drafna, Urza Lord High Artificer, one Urza golem and paradox engine.
    2) cast Ugin's nexus
    3) during the stack tap the golem and the paradox engine
    4) paradox engine trigger resolves, untapping both items in 3)
    5) repeat step 3
    6) while UN is on the stack, tap Drafna to copy the UN
    7) token copy of UN enters
    8) original UN enters
    9) legend rule forces decision of which UN to keep
    10) send copied UN token to graveyard by legend rule

  12. "Well of Lost Dreams" keeps asking if I want to pay mana when I have no mana left

    "Well Of Lost Dreams" keeps asking me if I want to pay mana when I have none that could be paid. Most cards are smart about detecting this, but this one seems to slip thru the cracks. It's especially bad with token engine decks. Thank you.

  13. Draconautics Engineer Trigger Miss

    With Draconautics Engineer on the board on opponent's turn, I intended to use Fire Magic for 2 damage and spend my one remaining mana to have Engineer survive with its first exhaust ability. However, after casting Fire Magic I was not given priority in order to trigger the exhaust ability and it was killed by the Fire Magic.

  14. Incorrect filter classification in talismans and Signets

    The talismans and signets included in Arena Anthology 1 are not recognized as colorless cards in the search filter.
    Apparently, the filter for these cards is filtering by identity for Brawl, rather than by card color.
    Talismans and signets should be identified and filtered as colorless cards, as they are artifacts with no specific color cost. However, they can only be found if searched for by their identity colors (based on the mana each one adds).

    This applies to:

    Azorius Signet, Orzhov Signet, Dimir Signet, Izzet Signet, Rakdos Signet, Golgari Signet, Gruul Signet, Boros Signet, Selesnya Signet, Simic Signet

  15. Start Your Engines Animation

    I play with the Italian version of MTG Arena, with the new expansion aetherdrift I do not see the effect "start your engines!", this error occurs on every card that has this effect . I tried to load the game in English and in that mode the effect is readable.

  16. Riverchurn Monument skipped my turn

    Opponent used Riverchurn Monument exhaust ability during my first main phase on my turn. It milled me, then skipped my combat step. No combat and moved to end of my turn.

    I had 4 attackers in play for a couple turns. Their exhaust ability was in response to me activating a surge engine during my 1st main phase.

  17. Arena should spend colorless mana over colored mana, but it does not

    When you have a bunch of mana floating, some colorless and some colored, and then you cast a spell, colorless mana should always be spent first by default. However, the game is not doing that currently.

    This often comes into play when casting Scapeshift. For example: I float BBGG and 1 colorless mana (5 total). I then cast Scapeshift (which costs 2GG). The game should leave 1 B mana in my pool. However, the game instead leaves 1 colorless mana. Since black mana is better than colorless mana in almost every situation, this is not what the default behavior should…

  19. BUG: Eusocial engineering creates twice the amount of tokens

    Eusocial engineering creates twice the amount of tokens and I don't see why since my opponent didn't had any cards that made that possible.

  20. speed sound effect not working

    The sound effect for increasing speed cuts out after the initial rev sound. There's no more "ding" sound. The Start Your Engines sound effect is the same, but the subsequent increases are cut short.
