How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

  1. Agatha's Soul Cauldron

    I acquired the card Agatha's Soul Cauldron, but it didn’t work as expected. During my last ranked match, I exiled a creature with flying and another with lifelink. I placed a +1/+1 counter on my creature, but it didn’t gain any of those abilities. The card simply didn’t apply the effect as described.

  2. Kozilek's Command was allowed to create tokens

    He had Chalice at 2, my Counterspell and Get Lost were being countered of course, but his Kozilek's Command was allowed to create tokens.

  3. Translation issue on Phylath, World Sculptor

    In french, the translation of the landfall effect of "Phylath, world sculptor" is wrong ; it says "mettez UN marqueur +1/+1" which means "put ONE +1/+1 counter" instead of four counters which is the real effect. Had to search online why my opponent's tokens were getting so strong so fast lol

  4. Instants in the 4th introduction match

    In the 4th intro match the instant to create 3 1/1 spirit creatures fizzles out and doesn't actually create the tokens. I can't move on with getting through these intro matches.thisbis happening on both Android OS and Mac OS. This more of a system error itself.

  5. Ratadrabik, Smeagol, Boromir

    Playing on PC. Ratadrabik's "except it isn't legendary" seems to not be working correctly. There is a post already about Brawl, but it seems that it is not isolated to that game type exclusively. Player Burbante used Ratadrabik of Urborg to bounce Boromir, Warden of the Tower off and back onto the field using Boromir's sacrifice ability, and Smeagol, Helpful Guide to mill me out and steal all my land cards. I was playing Historic (not ranked). They were able to do this in one turn. Which also means there is some bug/issue with Smeagol as Smeagol's ability is only…

  6. Redirecting target of spells using "Return the Favor" didn't update the list of valid targets

    An opponent cast a spell (I don't remember the spell's name) to "Destroy target creature with power 4 or greater" targeting one of my Scorpion Dragon Tokens (made with Magda). I go to cast "Return the Favor" to redirect that spell into destroying one of my opponent's own fliers and protecting my scorpion at the same time (They have a 4/3 Flying Unicorn creature at least, I'm almost certain he had another creature of power 4 or greater as well). I pay for both effects, but I was unable to target my opponent's creatures with their own spell…

  7. Bad UI = Less Revenue

    Opponent was manually blocking with one token at a time. It isnt obvious you can use a numbered group to block another target/group.

    Currently my Hydra could become a 128/128 (via the demo field being cracked to provide another land drop for me).

    In that I would tell any player, especially a new player about this combat trick. It is open information but information that is often lost with poor MTGA UI and wouldnt be as lost in paper (the Demolition Field wouldn’t blend in with my basics).

  8. Undo (z) on mana payment wigged out the mana payment system and locked me out of pay x mana spells, costing me my final loss in a draft.

    While playing Dragon's of Tarkir Premier Draft, I attempted to cast Spectral Denial to counter a pretty big creature spell from my opponent. I accidentally selected 2 mana instead of 1 for (x) and attempted to undo. Something broke and it would not let me continue casting the spell, my only option was to cancel. This left multiple copies of the mana payment widget on the screen overlaid on top of one another but did not do anything when clicked on. Attempts to use the spell again ran into the same issue and I was unable to counter 2 separate…

  9. Event expiration date highlighting

    On April 21 I joined an OTJ Sealed BO1 event and decided to not play it immediately because I wanted first to try the OTJ limited in some Quick Draft event.
    As I always do when I start an event but I do not play it immediately I everyday checked the MTGA event showcase, in the homepage dashboard of the game, to see if the 48 hours countdown of the Sealed event showed up but it did not, neither did in the macrocategory of events "OTJ Limited events" where it usually appear. Beacause of that I was not in hurry…

  10. Hog-Monkey Rampage

    [BUG] Hog-Monkey Rampage does not operate how the card states.

    The card stats "Choose target creature you control and target creature an opponent controls. Put a +1/+1 counter on the creature you control if it has power 4 or greater. Then those creatures fight each other."

    Enter combat and the opponent has no viable blocker has both their creatures were tapped. I cast Hog-Monkey Rampage and it resolves. I target my 2/2 Firebender Soldier token and their 3/3 Tapped Zuko. As my creature had a power of 3 it should not have fought their Zuko however it did and ended…

  11. Robbed of Standard win by Adventure creature completely disappearing

    I played Charring Bite (an Adventure) to kill a critical opponent creature lategame, leaving my opponent with just two 1/1 Cat tokens for 3 turns in a row. Twinmaw Stormbrood (the creature half of the Adventure) never appeared, costing me the game unfairly. No cards were in play that could have caused this, and the card didn't appear in my Exiled list either.

  12. FF Premier Draft Loss

    Was against opponent who kept timing out but never lost. Eventually, near final round (I was at 20 they were at 3 life) the game client pushed me back to the main screen but I was fully connected and not having any connection issue.

    I was placed back in queue but instead of being rematched with the other player who kept timing out (who I believe was exploiting based on what I read online). Instead, I was matched against a totally new opponent. At this point, I had only 2 losses registered.

  13. Starting town tapped pre-combat damage

    I am currently running a deck using Essence Channeler and Starting Town. During my opponent's pre-combat or during combat I am unable to tap my Starting Town pinging myself for 1 point of damage for any mana type. This might be because the program doesn't register I have any responses available. I should be able to tap my land during combat giving my Essence Channeler flying in order to respond to an opponent's declaration of attackers.

    It should allow the option to tap Starting Town as a response just like how you can pay mana for a creature land…

  14. Heroes not getting Cid's buff

    I cast the "Aerith Rescue Mission" and got three Hero Tokens. I also had one "Cid, Timeless Artificer" in my Graveyard.
    However, the Tokens still were 1/1, they didn't get the buff from Cid. If I had known this, I would have drafted differently...

  15. Please start doing math instead of animating when the same thing enters the stack too many times!

    So I play white/green, which means I often chain effects that create many creatures, then trigger lifegain on each creature, then trigger additional effects on lifegain.

    All of it animates individually. Which takes time out of my turn. Which, if I've made a big enough move, makes the game make me skip my next several turns, then declare I lost.

    I keep losing the game because I am playing my deck too well!!!

    I understand why the logic needs to check for additional effects and triggers on my and the opponent's side at each point in the stack. But…

  16. Spells with Spree Not Resolving When Part of the Spell Becomes Invalid

    This is a bug with the way spells with 'Spree' are being resolved. When multiple additional modes are selected, and at least one of the selected modes become invalid (target is dead, for example) while the spell is on the stack, ALL selected modes fail to resolve. This is not intended as the ruling for 'Spree' states that: If at least one target is still legal, the spell will resolve but will have no effect on any illegal targets.

  17. Incorrect card styles are used on copied spells and tokens

    If you have something that copies your spells (e.g. Echoes of Eternity), the copy that's added to the stack and/or the battlefield doesn't use the correct card style (i.e. it's different to the original/copied card that's in my deck).

    For example, in the attached screenshots, note that the cards in my deck are both using the depth art card style (which I have also set as the default/favourite style by clicking the heart underneath, just for good measure), however when these spells are copied, they both appear on the stack/battlefield using the card style on the very right — which…

    Hello! I'm a very new player, so apologies in advance if this is a known issue/something that will fix itself eventually/not the right place to report it/etc, but I have been having some issues with these beginner quest things that new players get, indicated in the main menu by a blue diamond icon.   20. Moonlit Meditation Stack

    If you have a way to copy enchantments and create multiple copies of Moonlit Meditation in play copying different creatures and/or artifacts, can you make it so that each instance that it gives the option to replace a token with a copy of the enchanted permanent highlight to ease determination which order the auras were placed on permanents?
    For example
    Extravagant Replication copies the Moonlit Meditation 3 times.
    Arbitrary targets can be
    Starfield Vocalist
    Marang River Regent
    and the original aura is on
    Tithing Blade.
    As it is, the player must remember the order in which each aura was placed…
