How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. error updating data, please check your connection and try again

    While waiting to log in, I end up with this message "error updating data, please check your connection and try again" after "retrieving asset manifest".

    Nothing has changed (from PC or ISP) from the day before (4/18) as this began yesterday (4/19).

    Apparently this has been an known issue for some time.

  2. Transmogrant's Crown Bug

    Equip cost cannot be activated - Equip / Cancel Buttons cannot be selected and you time out after trying to equip. PC

  3. Frozen App

    Game froze in the middle of match. Restarted the app then froze again when trying to rejoin the match then froze and additional two time.

  4. Drowner of Truth mana auto-tapper jumps over every possible hoop it can do avoid paying colorless mana for a beneficial effect

    Over several games I have confirmed that the mana auto-tapper views Downer of Truth's text "When you cast this spell, if {Colorless} was spent to cast it, create two Eldrazi Spawn tokens" as a negative that should be avoided at all costs rather than a boon, I had a bunch of mana and artifacts that could tap for colorless or ping self for 1 to do a color, the auto-tapper pinged me for 7 health rather than generate spawn.

  5. Very sure the cards are not random

    I'm very sure the cards are not random from the top of the pile. I have 31 lands out of 75 cards. I should not be getting 11 lands out of the first 15 draws. This has happened a couple times. And the chances of that happening are about 1 in 250, I've done the math. As a software engineer and an investor in Hasbro, I'm very skeptical of how the programming is done for these fully automated digital cards to be determined, there's an algorithm I'm sure. And if there is, so be it. But, I want to understand…

  9. Correction Needed: Major Oracle Text Errors in the Korean Localization(1/3)

    I am posting a detailed list of about 100 translation errors currently present in the Korean version of the game.

    I had already submitted these exact corrections a few years ago, but unfortunately, they still remain unaddressed in the client. Since these errors involve core rule interactions and card abilities, they actively disrupt gameplay and cause unnecessary disputes during matches. They must be corrected.

  10. Just wrong!!

    Rarity is messed up for the real life Money to make. Not for the game play and balance. Wrath of God, Settle the Wreckage, Doomscar... etc. All RARE. black has "Damnation" for the same effect. yet.. YET... mythic status. WHY.. for the players to collect 4 of them for decks.. forcing 4 mythic cards to be gotten one way or another. Draw from physical packs in real life. or use a Arena mythic wild card. For the money, not the game is the issue. Why Mythic?? Bias..

  11. Booster turor does not reveal cards

    Booster tutor does not do what it has written in text box.

    It reads: Open sealed Magic Booster pack, reveal cards, choose one of them and put it into your hand.
    What it does: Open sealed Magic booster, put one card into your hand.

    It should reveal card selection to opponent to provide information about mana and card availability and also it should reveal the choice.
    I played multiple events and the card does not work all its text as it should.

  12. spell discounted by hinata does not give priority

    on the last duel i have hinata, dawn crowned on the field (Spells you cast cost {1} less to cast for each target.), and 4 valid targets for Paradoxical Outcome ({3}{U} Instant Return any number of target nonland, nontoken permanents you control to their owners’ hands. Draw a card for each card returned to your hand this way.) This should be allowed me to cast Paradoxial Outcome, however i did not get any trigger response after either me or my opponent do something. It was working fine ages ago.

  13. Cannot use some collected cards in decks

    Steps to reproduce:
    - Open the game client, go to Decks, create a new deck.
    - Select the Standard format, filter for collected cards.
    - Some collected cards will appear dulled out (brightness is reduced like they are not collected).
    - Hovering over the counters above a card in the list will display "Owned" in a tooltip.
    - Add a collected (dulled out) card to deck, then save the deck.
    - A warning message appears saying the collected card is not in my collection.

    I have tried:
    - Restarting the game client and the Steam client
    - Restarting my computer…

  14. Unable to login. Authentication failed: timeout

    I am unable to login to or access my mtg arena app.

    Unfortunately I have not had access to the app on my iPhone since more than a week now since the last update for strixhaven.

    I have tried to:

    reconnect directly on the app, login again, delete the apps cache, delete and re-download the app, login into the app on a different device, changing my account password (successfully).

    But so far none of the things I tried worked. Perhaps someone else has had the same issue?

  15. Daretti Bug with Nexus of Becoming

    I had brought Daretti out with Nexus of Becoming, but he didn't trigger. Also did not trigger when attacking in the next turn. I do not recall seeing any creatures or active effects that would have stopped him from triggering

  17. Glissa, Herald of Predation is broken

    My opponent had Glissa, Herald of Predation as his commander. He was able to do all three of the options on each combat, even though it says choose one. There were no cards to cause it to trigger multiple times, so it's clearly bugged.

  18. Transmogrant's Crown

    Transmogrant's crown will let you play the card but won't let you equip it to anything. It gets stuck on a screen that says surveil and gives you a few options but you can click on any of them.

  19. Toph, The First Metalbender and Imprisoned in the moon interation

    When enchanting Toph, The First Metalbender with Imprisoned in the moon it does not remove her abilities. All artifacts are still lands.

  20. Won't update (and won't load) on IPv6

    Magic: Arena won't connect to the update server (and therefore won't run) while IPv6 is activated.

    Load screen terminates at "Retrieving asset manifest" with a connection error.

    Turning off IPv6 in Windows Networking settings resolves the issue, starts as normal.

    • Right click network icon in task bar
    • Network and Internet settings
    • Advanced network settings
    • Click on down arrow at right side of network adapter
    • Click Edit on More adapter options
    • Click to deselect Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
    • Click OK
    • Restart Arena -> works as expected
