How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  2. Basic Social Functions

    Hey everyone! Long time Magic fan here - I think a HUGE weakness of Arena is that there are almost NO ways for me to onboard other people into the game or to maintain interest among friends. One of the reasons this game still exists in general is the social component of playing in paper which allows players to keep each other interested (and invested) in the game.

    Here are some basic social functions that would give us ways to interact with friends and therefore maintain broader interest in the long term:

  5. The system auto-passed my turn

    After using "light up the stage" and with one mana open, the game passed my turn when I had a spell available to play. This error caused me to lose the match. "Light up the stage" hit "wizards lightning" and "skewer the critics." My one land was "ramunap ruins" and I had a wizard, "ghitu lavarunner," on the battlefield. I should have been able to cast "wizards lightning."

  6. Incorrect game loss

    I was facing a player in ranked historic. They played Approach of the second Sun and I countered it. When they played it again it won the game, the first cast should not have triggered as it was COUNTERED.

  9. Unable to cast spells

    I was unable to cast spells that i had plenty of mana to cast, he had played terror of the peaks and when my turn came i tried to cast Lullmage's Domination to gain control of the terror of the peaks, he had 15 cards in his graveyard which reduces the casting cost of lullmage's domination by 3 colorless mana so to take terrror of the peaks i needed to have 3 blue mana plus 2 due to the casting cost reduction when i cast it and chose that X=5 i clicked auto pay and it told me i had…

  10. Matchmaking sucks! I am tired of constant mirror matches

    Matchmaking in Arena is unbalanced and unfair and most of all unfun. Constant mirror matches suck! Constantly playing against the same decks regardless of opponent sucks! please do true natural random matchmaking. skill based and deck strength matchmaking sucks and isn't fun.

  13. matchmaker

    Matchmaker is completely BROKEN, and it's making this game unplayable. Back to back to back matches against rogues. If it's not rogues, its another deck. All I want to do is have fun, and play random decks. Why am I constantly facing the same decks? Where's the variety? This makes the game extremely boring seeing the same thing over and over again. MAKE THE MATCHMAKING RANDOM. Programming win rates and deck contents and all this **** is ruining the experience.

  14. Creatures changing places

    My opponent had two 2 toughness creatures in play, one tapped and one untapped. I attacked with my 1/1 Dreadhorde Butcher. My opponent blocked with their untapped creature. As my Butcher died, I was hovering my mouse over the creature with one damage on it, ready to click it as the target for my trigger. As soon as the trigger resolved, the creatures switched places, and I clicked on the undamaged creature. My suggestion is not to have creatures switch places for absolutely no reason.

  15. Add sort option for deck selection

    I spend way too much time scrolling through the seemingly randomized deck list when selecting a deck for a match.

    Would it be that difficult to persist the sorting you select in the deck creation dialog or allow a sort option in the deck select dialog?

  16. Display resolution

    First, thanks for MTGA !
    Then, can you please add 3:2 resolutions such as 1920x1280 pix which is my native resolution ?

  17. No gems were given for opening duplicate rares

    I recently opened packs where 20 gems were offered for duplicate rares, but my gem counter didn't go up with each pack opened.

  18. Paradox Engine Isn't Banned

    Not sure how you missed it but Paradox Engine is completely legal on Arena in Historic and Historic Brawl. It's banned in Commander for a reason... there's no way you should be allowing it in Brawl. What's the deal? Sheoldred is too powerful to include but cards like Ulamog and Paradox engine are fine for a fun and friendly experience???? Why?

  19. Broken Cards, Balance and Standard

    Did a bunch of people who played MTG 2 times, and lose both games get hired to be the balance or design team for these cards the past few years? Because the common theme is cast one card and win the game. What has happened to this game? This game used to be fun. It used to be interactive. You used to be able to play your deck and not have to worry about your opponent casting one card and the game just ends. Why has this become a theme? You can call them what you want, a "build around"…
