Match Against Bot with Invalid Deck (cards not in collection)
Hi.
I have a suggestion about match against bot.
In physical game, I can get a card from my friend or in a shop to test a deck before buy the cards.
In MTG Arena, I can build a deck with cards not in my collection.
But a deck with cards not in my collection, I can't play matches against bot to test this deck.
Is it possible to allow a match against bot using a deck with cards not in my collection to test?12 votes -
Invalid card able to be played in standard
Just lost a match to a great deck and when I went to recreate it, it says one of the cards the other player was using, Unholy Annex, is an invalid card. How can he play in standard with an invalid card?

Brawl Deck Invalid for having multiple of the same card with “A deck can have any number of cards named” Cid Timeless Artificer
I have 13 Cid’s Time Artificers in a deck and since the new update Arena is saying I have 12 invalid cards and won’t let me use the deck.

Duplicate cards
After the update that occurred yesterday (07/08/2025), the decks I was using with Persistent Petitioners, Relentless Rats, and Slimes are now not letting me use multiple copies of the same card in Brawl. It has deemed my deck invalid because I have duplicate cards however the card specifically allows for duplicates.
I'm on PC.

Invalid decks sorrow
HI!
Today I found out that most of my traditional decks (with sideboard) became invalid. While opening them, I found no banned or restricted card in them. I removed the sideboard and some got saved, some didn't. Now I also lost the sideboard for Pioneer and standard. Please help, because it is sad5 votes -

After this update all the cards that you can have any amount of cards in your deck as in ***** Against Humanity and Hare Apparent are coming up as invalid decks now.

Dragon's Approach rendering deck invalid
Dragons Approach list was valid in Brawl yesterday, I updated the app this morning and now the deck is invalid for too many of one card. Dragons Approach can have any number so it should be valid

I cannot create a pioneer deck whit more than 7 cards in sideboard
Whenever i add more than 7 cards to the sideboard i get the invalid deck image about my deck having more than 15 cards in sideboard please need help on a fix for this

Missing Cards
I woke up this morning and started playing some MTGA mobile (iOS) and shortly noticed that may of my decks are missing cards. I played some last night, built a new deck, and after playing a game with it went to bed. On reflection I had cards missing then too. Not all my cards were available to build with. Many of the missing cards are from starter decks, but not all the cards will be missing from a single deck, some will be left. Also, some of the decks with missing cards are still playable. "INVALID DECK: Deck Validation Failed."
Crafted cards for a brawl deck, now when attempting to play the deck I receive the error listed above. I did craft wildcards to make this deck, so I would hate to think those cards are wasted now.

Brawl Deck being marked invalid due to containing mutiple copies of Nazgul
New issue as of july 8th 2025. Brawl deck is flagged as invalid, removing the extra 8 copies of Nazgul makes the deck register as working.

When I cast syncopate with x=0, the spell's controller should have the option to have the spell countered. Arena currently autopays 0 (even on full control)

My decks are being made invalid and swapped to limited
Random decks are being marked invalid. When I go to check them they have been moved to limited or I get an error saying there are to many cards in the sideboard when there is only 15 cards in it,

Lutri, the Spellchaser becomes invalid with duplicate cards in the sideboard
I run a Tainted Pact/Thassas Oracle deck using Lutri as a companion. There are no duplicate cards in the maindeck but there are duplicates in the sideboard that seem to disable Lutri even though Lutris companion viability is only supposed to be concered with cards in the mainboard.

deck cannot have more that 15 cards in side board on edition
i here can't edit sideboard when trying to edit deck most of decks are considered as invalid with message error "deck can't have more than 15 cards in sideboard" the error is on many valid decks in my deck list

Missing cards
I bought a bunch of Strixhaven packs and as I opened them I made notes on the new cards I'd like to incorporate into my decks (or build a new deck with). But several of the cards I made notes of don't show up in the deckbuilder as an option for me. I have checked online to see if I wrote down the wrong names, but those cards are listed on general websites as Strixhaven cards so I don't know why they won't show up in my deckbuilder.

Rat colony says invalid deck if I use 6 or more of the style cards, but works ok with default cards.
When I go to use the style I brought for Rat colony after reading the Dev diary about the card style changes I discovered an issue when I went to use the style in my decks when I hit 6 or more cards, I get an error saying that it contains cards not in my collection, and then the deck page says I need to have 3 more common wildcards to finish it, but it also does not give me the option to use them to stop the error, so the only way to make the deck valid is to…
