1. Possible bug: No opportunity to cast Precise Redaction in response to Jeskai Revelation

   My opponent cast Jeskai Revelation while I had Precise Redaction in hand and enough appropriate mana available to cast it. As far as I could tell, there were no effects preventing me from casting spells or responding.

   However, Arena did not give me an opportunity to respond. Jeskai Revelation simply resolved, and I could not cast Precise Redaction.

   Precise Redaction counters a white or black spell. Since Jeskai Revelation is blue, red, and white, it should be a legal target. Flashfreeze can counter it because it is red, so Precise Redaction should also work because it is white.

   Is there a known issue with Arena recognizing Jeskai Revelation as a valid target for Precise Redaction, or could something else explain why the game skipped my response window?

2. Was not able to select a token when casting with bargain

   I've only seen this once, but in my last game, I had a hollow scavenger out with my Young Hero aura, and an opponent Cursed aura on it. When I tried to cast Agatha's Champion with bargain, the game would not let me select the Young Hero token when selecting the sacrifice. I would click on it, and nothing would happen. I think normally the interface would show 'submit 1' when you click on it.

5. [Android][Ranked] Player is auto-defeated for inactivity while opponent is resolving a long combo

   Platform: Android
   Game mode: Ranked
   Issue: Inactivity timer incorrectly applied to the player who is not taking actions

   Description:

   During a ranked game on Android, my opponent started an extremely long combo that lasted approximately 15 minutes.

   The combo involved more than 180 steps being put onto the stack, with each of these triggering approximately 3 additional steps, resulting in an extremely long sequence of automatic actions.

   During the entire combo it was continuously my opponent's turn and no action was possible on my side.

   During the combo, the opponent's hourglass timers appeared and repeatedly ran down to 0.

   After approximately 15 minutes, when the opponent's combo was almost finished, I received an inactivity warning, telling me that I would lose the game if I remained inactive.

   This seems incorrect because I had no action to take and my opponent combo was still resolving with no priority or possible action on my side.

   Then, when it finally became my turn, the game immediately declared me the loser due to inactivity, despite the fact that I had 20 life remaining and had not intentionally conceded.

   I added a screenshot taken just after the game was lost to help identifying the combo (if needed) and the state of the game.

7. Bug or possible cheat in the game

   I played a game of ranked pioneer best of 3. I played Golgari midrange while opponent played azorious control. I played Sheoldred the Apocalypse and it looked like Sheoldred didn't exist - it kept summoning sickness for many turns, it couldn't block opponent's Beza, I didn't get life for drawing cards and opponent didn't loose life for drawing cards. There wasn't any effect in the game that could make this happen. Either the game bugged or opponent used some cheat.

8. MTG Arena Shuffles

   Hello,

   I have been playing MTG Arena for quite some time. Recently I have noticed that your product is very lacking in consistency when it comes to the "online shuffler". I just played aprox. 15 games in which i never saw lands, mana dorks, or only drew lands. This was not previously an issue so something has had to have changed. In fact of those 15 games i had to mulligan to 0 cards in hand multiple times because i was unable to receive a playable hand. You may be thinking " well you're not running enough lands and mana dorks" in fact i'm running the same, if not more than I do in the paper format with less issues in paper. I find it utterly ridiculous that the inconsistent capabilities of you're AI or computer generated shuffler can not produce a more reasonable amount of playable hands. If i'm running a mono green elf tribal ramp deck and can't play half of my cards because i draw 8 lands in a row or have 1 land the whole game there is a problem. I am an avid fan of WOTC and have been playing magic for 16+ years and find it very disappointing that this ease of access is as unfunctional as it is. I also can not think of any reason why the consistency in the failure for the game to perform a playable level due to this utter lack of competency to be VERY disappointing, almost to the point that I would like to remove myself from the product. I don't think it is too much to ask for a computer generated system to be tinkered with to ATLEAST make the utter lack of performance in the product a 50/50 chance of failing. I also find the fact that due to this issue I can lose 13/15 games due to the lack of functionality in the product and still continue to play decks well beyond the capacity of what my deck can do. A matching making rating system should be based off performance and not the "cost/rarity" of the deck I am playing. It seems that the care for the product user has gone downhill. The game used to be fun and has now become a source of irritation due to the lack of consideration and product capability that your company has produced. I am sure no one will actually take the time to read this and research the issues that I have provided which is an issue in itself and is very disheartening that the conglomerate of WOTC has become more money based than about their players. Please note the "super successful" launch of your Zeta set and how well that, amongst other SLD products have been. I started playing in a standard format at my LGS at the of the original lorywn set where quality over quantity was the motto, now it seems to be more based around a paycheck.

9. Duplicate Drotection not working

   Duplicate Protection not working.

   I'm relatively new to MTG Arena and I thought duplicate protection was about rewarding gems once a playset was collected, but I just learned it's supposed to replace the card with another of the same rarity in the same set. This hasn't been happening for me for any sets since I started getting higher amounts of some sets, well before completing mythic/rares. I don't have pics since I didn't know there was anything to be suspicious of but it's definite.

   I saw Brentster#54643's post, "MSH Mastery Pass - Duplicate Protection Not Working", but it's been a while and has only a couple upvotes. Seems like a big bug so posting here.

   ...I honestly didn't understand how some people can complete sets Relatively easily, but this makes sense. Would be much easier with this.

11. How about quit being cowards and allow actual criticism of your terrible products?

    You guys decided to delete my post calling out your Marvel Universe drop, which is an act of corporate cowardice that I find laughable.

    I guess my comment about telling you to print the Peppa Pig cards really struck a nerve with you since you've decided to completely infantilize the game for the next generation by using super heroes instead of coming up with original concepts and ideas.

    I'm glad to know that you're that upset over people levying legitimate criticism of the total and absolute whitewashing of what used to be a great game. It is total absolute proof of my point that you guys are incapable of breaking away from the toxic model of extraction and exploitation that is now rampant throughout this industry and others.

    Instead of creating balanced cards or hiring people who actually stress test the mechanics to the max, you just continue to pump out garbage and force the community to deal with your bad mistakes.

    I still hope you go bankrupt by the way, seeing as how you don't have the spines to allow actual speech on your platforms, and because you have become ethically bankrupt by stooping to the lowest common denominator.

    Delete this post, and I will never purchase a single product from you ever again.

12. Bugged Chaos Warp during Brawl.

    Chaos warp during brawl is removing commander even when command zone is selected. This has happened to me twice now. My commander is chaos warped. Before completing the warp it requests if I want my commander to go to my library or command zone. The first time this happened I thought maybe I hit library by mistake. The second time this happened I made sure that I pressed command. My commander vanished and became an icon on the left side of the screen that I am unable to select. I could not get my commander back for the remainder of these games.

    During combat after blockers were assigned, I was not able to cast an instant spell "Deadmaw's Ire". My only option was to continue to the damage step.

14. Wildcards

    Please make it so people can exchange their lower tier wildcards for higher tier ones. A system that is like:
    10 Commons -> 1 uncommon
    10 uncommon -> 1 rare
    10 rare -> 1 mythic

    For years I've had over a hundred common wildcards that I don't even touch or use because it's so easy to open the commons in packs. Please make this change, so many people have been asking for it and it's been neglected for way too long.

    If you cast this submit 0 is greyed out many times and you have to wait for time out so you dont take out one of your own enchantments etc…

17. Accessibility regression after 2026.62.30: Eye-tracker mouse move events stopped working

    Eye-tracking software successfully moves the Windows cursor and clicking works, but Arena does not respond to the synthetic cursor movement. Hover states don't activate and cards cannot be dragged. Moving a physical mouse does generate the expected hover/drag behavior.

    This worked correctly before the 2026.62.30 update and stopped working immediately after installing it. The same eye-tracker mouse movement continues to work normally elsewhere in Windows and in other applications.

18. Serious Concern About Brawl Matchmaking and Opponent Repetition

    To the MTG Arena team,

    I’m writing because I have a problem with the current Brawl matchmaking system that I don't think can really be explained away as simply getting unlucky with a few matchups.

    I want to clarify something right away because I think it is important to the context of this feedback.

    I have personally played over 4,000 Brawl games on Arena. I realize that the "Seasoned" title is associated with reaching 5,000 total games on Arena, rather than specifically 5,000 Brawl games, so I am not using that title as a measurement of Brawl experience. I simply want to give an accurate picture of where my observations are coming from. My Brawl experience alone amounts to more than 4,000 games.

    I'm not saying that makes my experience more important than anyone else's, and I'm not presenting it as a controlled statistical study. I am saying that I have spent a substantial amount of time playing Brawl and have had a very large number of opportunities to observe the matchmaking system firsthand.

    Over that time, I've noticed the same thing happening again and again. I keep getting matched against the same relatively small group of commanders, often several games in a row.

    It isn't unusual for me to see the same commander three, four, or even five games consecutively before finally getting something different. And it isn't just one commander.

    There is a recurring group that seems to show up far more often than I would expect, including Krenko, Mob Boss, Golos, Tireless Pilgrim, Esika, God of the Tree, certain mono-green Fangbearer decks, and mono-white Heliod decks.

    What really bothers me is that this doesn't seem to be limited to one deck that I'm playing.

    I've experienced the same thing while changing decks entirely, including while playing a mono-blue Urza, Lord High Artificer artifact deck, Go-Shintai of Life's Origin, Hei Bai, Forest Guardian, and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon. I can change what I'm playing and still end up seeing many of the same commanders.

    I'm aware that Wizards has explained how Brawl matchmaking works. I understand that Arena considers the power of the commander and deck when finding opponents, and that the goal is to prevent players from constantly getting completely mismatched games.

    I actually think that is reasonable.

    What I don't understand is why achieving reasonable power matching has to mean that players repeatedly encounter such a small portion of the available commander pool.

    Those are two different things.

    Matching me against a deck of roughly comparable strength makes sense. Matching me against roughly the same handful of commanders over and over again does not necessarily follow from that.

    Brawl has an enormous number of legal commanders. One of the things that makes the format interesting is the fact that you can sit down for a game and have absolutely no idea what you're going to face.

    The current matchmaking system can make that experience feel much smaller than the actual format.

    That's my biggest complaint.

    I'm not asking to be matched against weaker players. I'm not asking for easier games. I'm not asking to avoid powerful commanders. If I sit down and get destroyed by a powerful deck I've never seen before, that's part of playing Brawl.

    What I want is variety.

    I also think there is a larger problem here that Wizards should consider when evaluating the system.

    If matchmaking deliberately filters which commanders are allowed to encounter each other, then the games an individual player experiences aren't a random sample of the Brawl population.

    That means a player can come away from thousands of games believing that certain commanders are everywhere when, in the overall Brawl population, that may not actually be the case. The matchmaking system itself is influencing what that player sees.

    I'm not saying Wizards' internal statistics are wrong. You obviously have access to vastly more data than individual players do.

    But I do think opponent diversity and repetition should be measured alongside win rates and commander power.

    For example, I'd like to know whether Wizards tracks how many unique commanders the average player encounters over 50, 100, or 200 games.

    I'd also like to know whether you track repeated encounters with the same commander and how often players experience long streaks against the same commander or small group of commanders.

    If those numbers are being tracked, I think they're extremely relevant to determining whether the current matchmaking system is actually providing the experience Brawl players want.

    And if they're not being tracked, I think they should be.

    I also understand the argument that Brawl players have different expectations. Some people want highly competitive games, while others want to play unusual or lower-powered commanders without being immediately crushed by something far stronger.

    That's exactly why I think the solution should be giving players more choice rather than forcing everyone into one matchmaking philosophy.

    Keep the current Brawl matchmaking system for players who want power-based matchmaking.

    But give us another option.

    Call it Open Brawl, Random Brawl, or whatever makes sense.

    The basic idea would be simple: legal Brawl decks can be matched against other legal Brawl decks without the same commander/deck-power filtering that currently determines the opponent pool.

    If the queue takes longer, that's a choice the player is making.

    If someone wants carefully matched games, they use the existing queue.

    If someone wants to experience a much broader portion of the Brawl population, they use the open queue.

    I don't think that is an unreasonable request.

    If a completely open queue is something Wizards isn't willing to implement, there are other possibilities. Even something as simple as reducing the chance of immediately being matched against the same commander repeatedly would help. A diversity preference or some kind of temporary repetition protection could accomplish part of the same goal without completely removing power-based matchmaking.

    The important thing is that the current system should recognize that matchmaking quality isn't only about whether two decks are approximately equal in power.

    It's also about whether the games feel varied.

    I don't want Brawl to become a format where I know I'm likely to see the same few commanders simply because the matchmaking system has decided those are the commanders I'm supposed to play against.

    I also want to emphasize that I'm not claiming the game is secretly rigging individual games, manipulating draws, or intentionally trying to make me lose. I don't have evidence for that, and that's not what this complaint is about.

    My complaint is much simpler: the opponent pool I experience feels far too narrow for a format with this many commanders, and I've seen that pattern consistently over more than 4,000 Brawl games, despite playing multiple different decks and commanders.

    At this point, I would really like this feedback to reach the people who actually work on Brawl matchmaking rather than being treated as a normal complaint about a bad matchup.

    I'd specifically like to know:

    Does Wizards track opponent-commanders-per-player and commander repetition?
    Is there currently any mechanism intended to prevent excessive repetition?
    How much does commander choice restrict the pool of possible opponents?
    Does changing decks significantly change the commanders a player can be matched against?
    Has Wizards considered an open or less-restricted Brawl queue?
    If not, is that something the team would consider?

    I enjoy Brawl. That's why I've played over 4,000 games.

    I'm not asking Wizards to make the game easier for me. I'm asking for the opportunity to actually experience more of the format I'm playing.

    The current matchmaking system may be accomplishing its goal of finding similarly powered opponents, but I think it's worth asking whether it's accomplishing that goal at the expense of something equally important: variety.

    Please pass this feedback along to the Brawl matchmaking/product team and consider looking at opponent diversity and repeated commander encounters as part of the evaluation of the current system.

    I’m writing because I have a problem with the current Brawl matchmaking system that I don't think can really be explained away as simply getting unlucky with a few matchups.

    I want to clarify something right away because I think it is important to the context of this feedback.

    i'm not doing your job for you. hire more people, pay them properly, stop introducing new bugs to the game. Read the log. figure it out. fix the game.

20. Hungering Puppetbeast not giving priority at times

    This happened on a couple of turns in a row. Hungering Puppetbeast didn't give me priority during combat. I can't remember the details but I think it's possible the only mana sources I had available were Heartwood tokens and Heartwood Crafter
