   It would be great if the shuffler didn't stick me with every island I have in the deck, especially when I have dual lands and another color. Starting with three Islands and then my first three draws were Islands when I only have seven islands in the deck. Appears like your shuffler is broken. But go on with your obligatory. We're looking into it email because that's all you guys ever do. You never fix the shuffler because it's not lucrative for you to do so. so instead you proceed to rig games in a curated experience. Just close this ticket because you know you're not going to do anything. The shuffler's been broken for years and more than myself has complained about it. A multitude of people have made videos on YouTube explaining their data Gathering techniques and what they have witnessed.

2. Recurring sideboarding UI corruption on macOS – unable to sideboard

   I am reporting a recurring MTG Arena client bug that prevented me from using the sideboard during a match.

   The issue occurred on September 3, 2026, at approximately 8:44 PM CEST, while playing on macOS through Steam. I previously experienced and reported the same type of problem on August 29, 2026.

   When the sideboarding phase began, the normal sideboard interface did not load correctly. Instead, unrelated deck-building, filter, cosmetic, pet, and profile interface elements appeared on the screen. The actual sideboard was inaccessible, so I could not make the necessary changes before the timer expired.

   The attached log provides direct technical evidence of the failure. During the initialization of the sideboarding interface, it records the following call sequence:

   SideboardInterface.InitializeDeckBuilder
   SubmitDeckWorkflow.ApplyInteractionInternal

   At that exact point, the client throws this exception:

   ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
   No Pantry found that has registered type Core.Meta.UI.SceneUITransforms.

   The associated stack trace includes CardBackSelectorPopup, DisplayItemSleeve, CosmeticSelectorController, PetCatalog, AvatarCatalog, and DeckDetailsPopup. This appears consistent with the unrelated cosmetic, pet, and profile elements displayed instead of the correct sideboarding interface.

   The log also contains more than 17,000 repeated “ArgumentOutOfRangeException: startIndex must be less than length of string” errors involving CardTypeProvider.GetObjectTypeText and other card-interface components.

   This was therefore a client-side interface failure, not a gameplay or connection issue. Because sideboarding is timed, I had no practical way to recover before the following game began, and the malfunction materially affected the match.

3. First Turn getting skipped

   My first turn whether I am going first or second is getting skipped every few games. This was never an issue before last week. And its really annoying when this happens when I pay for a draft and then am forced to discard a card on my first turn becuase I wasnt allowed to play my land……….I attached the log file from today. I would really like this to be fixed. I like to booster draft, but I will not spend the money anymore as losing a whole turn is really bad and not fair.

4. Option to speed up or entirely skip long sets of triggers & animations

   There are many ways to put 20-40 triggers on the stack even without going infinite. When these triggers don't fizzle, each one has a dedicated animation that plays as it resolves, and the end result over multiple turns is a very tedious process of waiting for the game to resolve stuff neither my opponent or I can actually effect.
   There should be an option to disable animations completely or choose to skip them (such as the animation for conjure in alchemy) so that my opponents and I are not bogged down by long strings of repetitive animations

5. “Play 5 games of Jump In!” Not Progressing

   “Play 5 games of Jump In!” quest has been stuck on 3/5 for about a month now, even though I’ve played/won more than 5 games of Jump In. I’ve tried resigning and trying new Jump In decks (wasting 3,000+ gold on cards I don’t even want), tried restarting client and device (iOS), and the repair game files option in settings.

7. Competitive Brawl Ban List

   Suggestions for better gameplay in Competitive Brawl. This is based on game experience and years of playing Duel Commander. I believe that at some point, Competitive Brawl can translate to paper, and I want to be part of that drive.

   Suggested Format Changes –
   Aside from game data, player feedback and gameplay should provide insights on what cards are unhealthy, and more importantly, what’s not fun for gameplay. Aside from my experience with years of Duel Commander tournaments, the below changes and banlist suggestions is based on my current gameplay in competitive brawl. I believe there’s tons of potential here, where the format can be translated to paper at some point.

   A meta where Burn can’t check strong decks, is unhealthy. Lower down starting life to 23 or 20. This allows FAIR aggro decks to match up against heavy control and quick combo decks.
   Banlist Suggestions
   Ban as commander
   Derevi
   Ban justification
   Although rare in my game logs, I don't remember ever winning against a Derevi deck, regardless of which commander I used. There's a reason for it being banned in Duel Commander, and which should justify the banning in competitive, or even just Brawl in general.
   Bypassing commander tax - The ability to flash in a commander without restrictions and gain command zone advantage. Unless you tax the ability, then this is ban-worthy
   Enables tempo abuse with tap/untap ability, and synergizes perfectly with Winter Moon.

   Yuriko - Oversaturated in the meta.
   – There’s a reason why she is banned in duel.
   Bypassing commander tax - Entering play for 2 mana, gaining unavoidable damage, and card draw for free, compounding the ability when you have extra ninja's provide OP advantage. If you aren’t the starting player and is unable to mulligan for 2 straight removals, you will almost always lose.
   The meta data should already explain it.

   Nashi - Another brawl meta staple.
   Sultai colors provide maximum value for blinking and tutors that are given free when Nashi resolves. All the more, it provides flexibility on providing the player on what you need in various situations technically for free. Need a creature, need removal, counter, combo piece (Oracle,Tainted Pact). What do you need? YES.

   Emry,
   Ban Justification
   Requires high artifact and graveyard interaction. Cheats Commander Tax. Easy to pull combo wins.

   Uro –
   Ban Justification
   Consistent card, land, and life advantage, given that graveyard is far and few, plus, it's easy to fill your graveyard, making it almost unbeatable during mid and late game. Same reasoning where Burn us unplayable in the format.
   Urza, High Lord or Paradox Engine - Can ban either or.

   BAN in 99
   Natural Order -
   Provides a cheap (4cmc for green can be done in turn 2-3) tutor-to-play advantage. Llanowar Elves to Eldrazzi. Nuff said. Llanowar Elves to Atraxa

   Channel - Turn 2 Eldrazi, Ugin, or any other colorless spells. Mike and Raph on turn 3 too, paired with other fast mana.
   Chrome Mox. Llanowar Elves, Exploration, Utopia Sprawl, Burgeoning. Dead if you don't have interactions
   Wary Zone Guard
   - Highly oppressive creature. Land recursion, 3mana 4/4.
   Watch list -
   Lumra - Recently banned in Dual Commander due to it's resilience in during mid and late game, making it difficult to win against.

   Ban Stripmine, print Wasteland, especially with the rampant land GY recursion from green decks

   Library of Alexandria - Provides unparallel card advantage, esp for control decks., allowing them consistent card draw without penalties.

   Arena nerfs –
   Un-nerf
   Not all Arena nerfs are bad, but some can be reverted back to their original ability.
   DRC - 1 cmc 3/3 flyer once delirium is met can still easily be interacted with. It's the Surveil ability that provides more value. There are a lot more toxic cards than this one being nerfed

   Orcish Bowmasters - The inherent ability keeps a lot of abusive draw abilities in control. Creature can also be easily be removed. This is not an oppressive card in competitive brawl.

   Winota - A bit hit and miss. 4cmc creature can be challenging to cast without a lot of ramp such as 0cmc artifacts (lotus petal, mox diamonds, etc).

   Galvanic Discharge - Given that the format has a lot of creatures have more than 3 toughness, Red needs more consistent 3 damage removals, energy itself is not a factor as it can't be abused in 1v1.

   Nerf
   Seek abilities – Now these are oppressive in the sense that it can’t be interacted with. Free resource with no penalty. Not all colors have stifle effects to prevent a seek ability, and can't be countered with can't search abilities.

8. MTG Arena is trash and always has bugs. It’s also rigged af. Hope the developers get reproductive cancers.

   Been playing this **** game for five years and it’s just gotten worse every update. Rigged af, and the rules are applied Willy-nilly. **** everyone involved in making this product.

10. Unity 6000.3.14f1_d68c3f99a318

    Recently, whenever I try to launch Arena, I run into an error window that briefly flashes up and the game fails to launch. I don't have any extensions installed, so my issue isn't covered by the other post about this problem. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game multiple times. I've attached the crash output file I found.

    I'm also running the game on PC (Microsoft Windows 10 Education, 64 bit, Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363)

11. Error Updating Data, still occuring, Hobbit Update

    Hello,

    im still experiencing problems with Arena updating its files. It downloads a certain amount of MB, then says "Error Updating Data", i retry and the donwloaded amount does NOT contribute to any progress. (eg. its says 50 MB of 150 MB, gives the error and after retry it still says 150MB instead of 100MB). Here a link to my post from last week:

    I reinstalled Arena in July, since then i have this issue (probably with the MSH-Update, i was able to download after a week).
    Now, after the Hobbit Update (10.08.26) i was not able to update the game successfully. I couldnt use Arena, other then to sit here and hope it downloads more then 20Mb for the last 3 (three) weeks. An after the last update (25.08.26), im probably not going to play the game for the next 3 weeks, since the download does not progress. Its frustrating and annoying.
    Im on Win11, playing through the Arena Launcher (Steam has the same problem).
    Before July, i never had this issue. I did not change anything on my setup or my internet provider. There is nothing on my end i can do to mittigate this. Other programmes updating works without problems. According to the logs (im not a programmer), its Arena that just cancels the downloads.

    Is there a way to get a full manual download of Arena somewhere, without going through updating through Arena itself? Or atleast give me a message if you not intend to fix this, so i can move on.

12. Your game is a scam

    Your entire game is a scam to ****** people out of more money. you have made the game pay to win and on top of that you have OBVIOUSLY rigged the game. you are clearly using some algorithm to stack decks and provide just the right card at just the right time to the opponent to ensure a loss. anyone with $1000 can build a deck that is impossible to beat without putting in just as much real money. any time you would pay to enter an event it is guaranteed you will lose most of the time. even using a deck with a 90% win rate you cannot win a paid event without extremely expensive decks. i played the 300 to play event over 100 times and lost 100% of the matches on the first game. you are cheating people out of wins to push them to pay for more cards and this is unethical.

    Tablet of Discovery should have been banned. The decks using this card is way to over powerd. It was a BIG mistake to let this card no get banned. Pleas fix this as soon as possible before the whole Standard Meta is control decks with this card. The card is way to op. Period!

14. error after crashing during sideboarding

    crashed during side boarding, after reloading can get a weird screen, talking about resting my cosmetics but it didn't lead anywhere. tried poking around to see if I could get to the SB screen but couldn't do anything. eventually it let me in to the match from timing out in sideboard.

    on a lighter note is there anyway to spend 5 gold on something having your gold total off permanently is a bit annoying lol. (example 10005g instead of 10000g)

16. Feedback on the In-Game Player Reporting Feature - Request for Transparency and a System Feedback Channel

    To the MTG Arena Team,

    I am writing as a player to share serious concerns regarding the in-game player reporting feature and the partnership with GGWP announced on August 18, 2026. I would like to request improvements and clarification on the following points.

    1. Overemphasis on Monitoring Player Behavior ("Results") While Overlooking the Environmental Design That Causes Frustration ("Cause")
       The newly added reporting categories (such as roping/stalling and abusive language) only address the symptoms of issues in the competitive environment. The underlying reasons why many players experience stress and resort to unsportsmanlike conduct are deeply connected to platform-side factors: a lack of transparency regarding matchmaking algorithms and probability fairness, long-standing doubts within the community that have never been fully addressed, and communication features that can easily be perceived as taunting.
       Before focusing solely on monitoring and penalizing player behavior with external tools, I believe you should also re-evaluate the game design and competitive environment itself that is causing this frustration.

    2. Lack of a Feedback Channel for Platform-Side Quality Issues and Bugs
       The current reporting feature is limited to monitoring behavior between players. There is no dedicated channel for providing feedback on the platform provider's responsibility, such as "questions about system behavior," "transparency of matchmaking logic," or "long-standing bugs."
       This approach, which appears to set aside accountability for quality control and instead frames all issues as conflicts between players, raises serious concerns.

    3. Risk of Feedback Becoming Siloed and the Need for Transparency
       A design where reports are processed individually and privately within the client risks creating a black box that prevents the community from collectively understanding and discussing issues.
       To resolve distrust and build a truly healthy competitive environment, I believe transparent communication is necessary, including reports on how issues are handled and objective data regarding the fairness of algorithms and probability systems.

    Conclusion
    To protect the integrity of Magic: The Gathering as a historic competitive game, I strongly urge you to go beyond introducing superficial monitoring tools and to make a genuine commitment to fairness and transparency so that players can play with confidence.

19. Number of collected cards in store is incorrect

    Platform: PC

    Expected Result: "Painful Quandary Collected: 2", "River's Rebuke Collected:1"
    Actual Result: "Painful Quandary Collected: 0", "River's Rebuke Collected:0"

    Steps to reproduce the bug: Owning copies of a card in store, but from a different set and none from the set the store is actually selling. Only after buying the card will the number of "Collected" indicated in the store be properly computed to count all versions of the card owned.

    When in Store, when you're trying to buy a card to add to collection, there's is a counter above the gems and coins to show how many of the card you already own, "Collected: 2"
    That numbers seems to work incorrectly sometimes.

    I play almost exclusively in Brawl formats, so I only care about owning 1 of the cards.

    Today, I saw two cards in store, with a "Collected: 0", Painful Quandary and River's Rebuke, so i immediately bought them thinking i didn't already own them.

    Was pretty surprised to see the "Collected" Number for Painful Quandary becoming "3" and for River's Rebuke "2" after spending my gold.

    The cards in store were from the "Foundation" set, and the cards i already owned where from previous sets (Brothers' war and Ixalan)
    The "collected" number was at 0 because i didn't own any copy of the cards from the Foundation set, it's only after i bought the cards that the Collected number went to properly check my collections from ANY version of the card, not just the Foundation version.

    This bug costed me 5280 golds...

20. Best of 3 sideboarding bug

    Cannot add or remove cards while sideboarding. I click on the cards, and nothing happens. Even after restarting the game mid-match, it still won't let me sideboard. I am on windows.
