How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

  1. Not invalid, but invalid deck

    When I try to play standard ranked my Deck is being reported as invalid due to format illegal cards. But then when I hover over the deck before editing it says: 'invalid cards 0'.

  2. Alchemy decks are invalid in Bot Match

    New Alchemy deck with new Omnath and Goldspan. Go to a bot match to try it out, deck is invalid. Mouse over deck, says "invalid cards: 0"

  3. Unable to play a brawl deck in arena with "Invalid Cards: 0:

    The wording of this makes this a bit odd, but this is a BUG

    I was able to play this deck earlier today, but I came back, and the deck is showing as 'invalid'. The helper text says 'Invalid cards: 0';. Not sure what is happening here. I have played since the beta, and have never ran into this. Here is the deck list:

  4. Invalid decks

    Since the last update some of my decks appear as INVALID despite having all the cards. Cloning them or making other decks shows the same thing (INVALID).

  5. historic brawl deck reported invalid, but all the cards are valid

    I have two historic brawl decks, which worked fine before ONE patch.
    After they show "invalid cards: 1" and i cant play with them.
    There are no banned/invalid cards in deckbuilder.

    my deck named milk hgg comes up invalid in historic play and there are no illegal cards in deck. no red cards {illegal} visible in the deck building phase

  8. Invalid Deck - Card not in collection error

    I play MTGA on my PC with Win10. When I try to build a new deck containing The Meathook Massacre, the game displays the message that it contains cards not in my collection, which is not true. My old decks that include the card don't seem to have any problem, as I can use them normally, but anytime I try to edit a deck or build a new one with the card, it displays the invalid deck warning and, while I'm still able to create the deck, it remains invalid.

  9. Foundations Jumpstart Event - invalid cards in packets

    I used a play-in Token to join the Foundations Jumpstart event.
    For the first packet, I selected Legion. For the second packet, I selected Stalwart.

    Each time I try and play a game with this deck, the game immediately ends in a forced draw as soon as an opponent is found.

    If I try and double click the deck to see its contents, the game gets stuck "Waiting for the Server..." and I have to force quit the game.

  10. wastes invalid in historic brawl

    Historic brawl decks with wastes in them are being declared invalid. This must be a bug as the waste is not clearly marked as the invalid card in the deckbuilder, but removing the waste makes the deck valid again. Tested with multiple decks: brawl decks with colored commanders are declared invalid when a wastes is added. This contradicts the official commander ruling on wastes.

  11. Match Against Bot with Invalid Deck (cards not in collection)

    Hi.
    I have a suggestion about match against bot.
    In physical game, I can get a card from my friend or in a shop to test a deck before buy the cards.
    In MTG Arena, I can build a deck with cards not in my collection.
    But a deck with cards not in my collection, I can't play matches against bot to test this deck.
    Is it possible to allow a match against bot using a deck with cards not in my collection to test?

  12. Invalid Deck

    As soon as I copy a deck from the draft to play against my friend, it keeps saying invalid deck, even though it doesn't make sense. If I create the deck manually and add all the cards that are in the draft deck, the error doesn't appear.

  13. Can’t remove cards from deck

    I cannot remove cards from my deck after Alchemy altered them. My deck is invalid until I can remove or replace the altered cards, but it will not allow me to do so

  14. Invalid Decklist Unable to Edit

    Steps to reproduce
    1. Go to decks
    2. Select an invalid (deck with less than 60 cards) to edit
    3. Click edit or double click

    Platform: PC

    Actual Results:

    -Goes to waiting for server page endlessly

    Expected Results:

    • Deck opens for editing

    1. No video

    2. Workaround is only editing decklists with more than 60 cards

  15. Apply Card Styles causes Invalid Deck error

    "Apply Card Styles" causes "Invalid Deck" error. If I play the same deck(s) with plain card styles, match loads fine. If I apply the card styles I get the error. This started after the most recent update for Bloomburrow release.

  16. Invalid deck in brawl

    I'm trying to enter a brawl match with my usual "teferi hero of dominaria" deck, with some new additions from bloom burrow, and it keeps getting flagged as invalid, despite having no illegal cards.
    After getting this error message, sometimes all the card styles are removed from my deck.
    Can you please look into this?
    I would attach some logs but I can't understand where they are saved on my phone.

  17. Invalid card removed from deck

    I would like to inquire about an issue I encountered with my card collection.
    Alchemy: BLB had 11 uncommons, but one was lost.

    I crafted 4 copies of the 1/1 Fountainport Charmer to complete my set collection.
    These were crafted around 2024/08/26 at 01:00 (UTC+09:00).
    I have attached images of the two different Fountainport Charmers that were crafted for your reference.

    However, after the Duskmourn update, they have become unusable, displaying the message: “Invalid cards have been removed from your deck.”

  18. Invalid Deck Size for Friendly Brawl

    The friendly brawl deck seems to be bugged to 40 cards. I was playing brawl for a while when I went to make a small edit to my deck. Upon saving the change, I saw that the deck was rendered invalid. When I try to play with the deck, I get the error "Deck validation failed." Please return friendly brawl default to 100/100 cards.

  19. Missing Cards

    I woke up this morning and started playing some MTGA mobile (iOS) and shortly noticed that may of my decks are missing cards. I played some last night, built a new deck, and after playing a game with it went to bed. On reflection I had cards missing then too. Not all my cards were available to build with. Many of the missing cards are from starter decks, but not all the cards will be missing from a single deck, some will be left. Also, some of the decks with missing cards are still playable.     saw some other people had this problem but no solutions, stuck at bronze rank 0 and no way to rank up. any updates to this problem?
